The result is a thin, decorative and easily chewable product. The apparatus according to the innovation therefore proves to be extremely practical to use, easy to use, simple and cheap to produce. Various types of apparatus for cutting, slicing or mincing food products, in particular vegetables, are known in the kitchen accessories sector. Thus, simple manual slicers are known, generally consisting of a flat element made of steel or the like with a notch which has a raised and sharpened edge so as to make a blade that slices the product, which is done scroll manually on the plane. Other devices are also known in which this blade is formed in a disc-shaped element, which forms for example the bottom surface of a container, and which is fixed to a shaft provided with an arm with a knob, to make it rotate. With reference to the attached figures, the appliance according to the innovation comprises a body 1 preferably to be placed on a work surface, provided with a base 2 in non-slip material and which has, at the top, an opening 3 delimited by a wall 4 having an upside-down conical shape, which constitutes the seat into which the product to be cut is inserted. On one side of this seat there is a slit 5 in correspondence with which a blade 7, preferably made of stainless steel, is fixed by means of screws 6 or the like. The points 18 protrude from the support 17 towards the inside of the seat 3, so as to interfere with the path of the cut product, which is thus incised in the longitudinal direction (parallel to the cutting direction), to obtain instead of a single strip of product, a series of strips of smaller width. The cut part of the product gathers at the base of the appliance, forming a sort of continuous curl, as visible in the figure. The use of the apparatus is extremely simple. In fact, it is sufficient to take a product (indicated with the number 19 in figure 1) that has sufficient consistency and adequate dimensions and insert it in the seat 3 after having lifted the rod 8 of a sufficient distance. At this point the rod 8 is lowered until the tip 13 engages the product to be cut, with the tips being inserted into the mass of the product itself. It is now sufficient to rotate the shaft 12 with the plunger 13 by means of the knob 15, to rotate the product inside the seat 3. The blade 7 then incises the product tangentially to the surface, thus cutting a thin strip which protrudes from the opening 5 and collects at the base of the appliance. By performing the cut with only the blade 7, a thin and fairly wide strip will be obtained, or a series of curls, depending on the product, while by applying the support 17 with the points 18, these will incise the surface of the product so that the strip which is cut by the blade 7 and subdivides into a series of thinner strips. Of course it will be possible to vary the dimensions of this strip by simply replacing the support 17 with another in which the points 18 are placed at a different distance. The thickness of the strip can also vary simply by varying the position of the blade 7 with respect to the slots 5. The apparatus described is very cheap to produce, as it can be made for example by molding in injected plastic material, the only metal parts being constituted by the blade 7 and the points 18, which are applied separately. Within the same solution idea, various embodiments can then be envisaged. Thus, for example, the body of the appliance could have a shape suitable for being easily gripped and held on a surface during use, or the support base 2 could comprise means such as suckers or the like for better adherence to a surface of work. CLAIMS 1. Apparatus for cutting vegetables characterised by the fact that it provides means suitable for engaging the product to be cut and for making it rotate around a fixed axis, inside a seat corresponding to which a blade is positioned suitable for cutting the surface of said product while it is made to rotate.

Vegetable cutting device according to claim 1, characterised in that said seat is made up of an inverted conical chamber, said blade being positioned in correspondence with a notch made in the wall of said conical seat, means being provided suitable for engaging the product to be cut and setting it in rotation inside said chamber, simultaneously exerting a pressure directed towards said chamber.

Apparatus according to the preceding claims, characterised in that said means suitable for engaging and rotating the product are constituted by a support sliding along an axis parallel to the axis of said chamber, to said support being hinged a shaft provided at one end with means suitable for engaging the product to be cut and, at the opposite end, with means suitable for allowing it to be rotated.

4. Apparatus according to claim 3, characterised by the fact that it provides, on said shaft, a tip suitable for engaging the product, with control means being provided on the opposite side. to rotate the said shaft.

5. Apparatus for cutting vegetables according to the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that it provides, in correspondence with said opening present in said chamber and upstream of said blade, a plurality of teeth mounted on a removable support, said teeth being positioned so as to superficially cut the product immediately before it is engaged by the cutting blade.

6. Apparatus according to claim 5, characterised in that said support is fixed to the body of said apparatus by means of a key.

Appliance for cutting vegetables characterised by the fact that it includes: - a container in which a chamber of a substantially inverted conical shape is obtained; - a slit made in correspondence with the wall of said conical chamber; - a cutting blade fixed to the wall of said chamber with the cutting edge corresponding to said slit; - a support sliding with respect to said body in a direction parallel to the axis of said chamber; - a shaft provided with means for engaging a product to be cut and with means for rotating it around its own axis, mounted on said support so that it can slide parallel to the axis of said chamber.
