Abstract

The article according to this design is a corrugated cable protection pipe made of vinyl chloride for storing and protecting electric wires and cables inside, and it is applicable to extra-high voltage cables, etc. as an alternative to CCVP pipes made of vinyl chloride. Here, in the case of CCVP pipes made of vinyl chloride, etc., when applying to the bent part, a dedicated bent pipe is required, but the article according to this design is different in that it can also be applied to the bent part. The characteristics of the cable protection pipe of this design are that it has the same pressure resistance as the conventional vinyl chloride pipe, and at the same time, it is a corrugated pipe with a predetermined flexibility. Moreover, while controlling the flexibility within a predetermined range, it further improves the linearity of passing wires by improving the drawback of the large friction coefficient of the vinyl chloride pipe. Specifically, as the corrugated shape, the peak part is formed in a straight line with a predetermined length, and as the valley part, a valley part with a very gentle curvature of a predetermined depth is provided without providing a straight valley part, and it is formed into a corrugated shape connected by inclined surfaces at a predetermined angle from both ends of the straight peak part to the adjacent valley parts respectively. Here, the height difference between the peak part and the valley part is appropriately set according to the diameter of the cable protection pipe. As a result, the lowest point of the internal valley part is formed in a dot shape, so that the frictional resistance due to the reduction of the contact area when pulling the cable into the wire pipe can be reduced, and the pressure resistance, flexibility, and further the linearity of passing wires can be improved.
