Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a colored bleaching composition, a mold remover, and a method for removing mold stains. [Background technology]
[0002] Bleaching compositions primarily based on alkali metal hypochlorite are used to remove mold that grows on hard materials such as floors, walls, ceilings, joints, and sealants in toilets, kitchens, and bathrooms, due to their high bleaching effect.
[0003] Bleaching compositions incorporate various techniques to achieve higher bleaching effectiveness, stability, and safety, such as adding different surfactants and chelating agents, and controlling pH and impurities.
[0004] For example, Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 2007-137930) proposes a thickened bleaching composition as a way to obtain a higher bleaching effect when removing mold that has grown on hard materials or vertical walls and ceilings, by preventing the bleaching composition from washing away and extending the contact time with the mold. Compared to liquid bleaching compositions, this thickened bleaching composition has the advantage of less scattering, easier localized use, and superior safety and convenience.
[0005] However, because alkali metal hypochlorite salts have strong oxidizing power, careful handling is still necessary. Therefore, attempts are being made to color bleaching compositions and clearly indicate the areas to be applied in order to further improve safety and ease of use.
[0006] For example, when coloring chlorine-based bleaches whose main component is alkali metal hypochlorite, ordinary dyes and pigments tend to decompose and fade over time, making the selection of an appropriate coloring agent extremely important.
[0007] As methods for coloring chlorine-based bleaching compositions, for example, in Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-8604), coloring with a copper phthalocyanine-based pigment is proposed, and in Patent Document 3 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54-88889), coloring with ultramarine blue is proposed. However, they have not yet achieved satisfactory coloring stability and storage stability.
[0008] Therefore, in order to improve the storage stability of the colored bleaching composition, many attempts have been proposed. For example, in Patent Document 4 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-305099), a stable alkali metal hypochlorite-based colored bleaching composition containing a polymer composed of a compound represented by the formula: MO3SO(AO) n SO3M, the formula: R-(AO) n SO3M (in these formulas, A represents one or more linear or branched alkylene having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R represents a polyhydric alcohol residue, P represents a number of 1 or more and is the same as or less than the number of oxygen atoms of the polyhydric alcohol residue of R, n represents a number of 3 to 200, and M represents an alkali metal atom or the like.) and a formaldehyde condensate of an aromatic compound having a sulfonic acid group or a salt thereof has been proposed. Further, in Patent Document 5 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-331294), it is disclosed that the storage stability is improved by containing a water-soluble polymer having a sulfonic acid group in the thickened colored bleaching composition.

Summary of the Invention

[0014] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a colored bleaching composition that exhibits excellent storage stability in high-temperature environments. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is also possible to provide a mold remover and a method for removing mold stains using the colored bleaching composition. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0015] The colored bleaching composition, mold remover, and method for removing mold stains of the present invention will be described in detail below. In this specification, numbers connected by "~" represent a numerical range that includes the numbers before and after "~" as the lower and upper limits, respectively. If multiple lower and upper limits are listed separately, any lower and upper limits may be selected and connected by "~".
[0016] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention is characterized by having the following compositions (a) to (f). By possessing these characteristics, the colored bleaching composition of the present invention exhibits excellent storage stability in high-temperature environments. (a) 0.1 to 4.0% by mass of alkali metal hypochlorite (b) Organic thickeners: 0.1 to 10.0% by mass (c) Alkaline agent is 0.1 to 4.0% by mass as free alkali (d) 0.1 to 10.0% by mass of an aromatic sulfonic acid compound having an electron-donating group or its alkali metal salt. (e) 0.0001 to 0.01% by mass of phthalocyanine-based pigments that may be halogenated. (f) 0.1 to 3.0% by mass of the compound represented by the following general formula (I) HO-(AO) n -OR (I) (In formula (I), R is a hydrogen atom or C m H 2m+1 (This indicates that m is an integer from 1 to 4, A is a linear or branched alkylene group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer from 3 to 300.)
[0017] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains an alkali metal hypochlorite salt as component (a) at a concentration of 0.1 to 4.0% by mass. The alkali metal hypochlorite salt exhibits a coloring bleaching effect and mold removal properties.
[0018] In alkali metal hypochlorite salts, examples of alkali metals include sodium, potassium, lithium, calcium, and magnesium. These may be used individually or in combination of two or more. From the viewpoint of ease of availability and stability of the bleaching composition, the alkali metal hypochlorite salt is preferably a sodium or potassium salt of hypochlorous acid.
[0019] From the viewpoint of more favorably exhibiting the effects of the present invention and further suppressing the impact on the human body and ensuring safety, the concentration of alkali metal hypochlorite salt in the colored bleaching composition of the present invention is 0.1 to 4.0% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 3.0% by mass.
[0020] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains an organic thickener as component (b) at a concentration of 0.1 to 10.0% by mass. The organic thickener enhances the storage stability of the colored bleaching composition and improves its adhesion to hard material surfaces. Furthermore, the inclusion of the organic thickener suppresses scattering and the characteristic odor of alkali metal hypochlorite salts, and facilitates spot application. In addition, the thickening effect of the organic thickener is improved by a neutralization reaction with the alkaline agent, which is component (c) described later.
[0021] Examples of organic thickeners include water-soluble polymer compounds having hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, sulfonic acid groups, ether groups, and amino groups in their molecules. Specifically, examples include (i) polyacrylic acid derivatives which are polyacrylic acid homopolymers or copolymers of monomers copolymerizable with acrylic acid, and crosslinked polyacrylic acid homopolymers or polyacrylic acid derivatives, and (ii) polyalkylene glycols such as polyethylene oxide and polypropylene oxide, and their derivatives. From the viewpoint of sustained thickening effect, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) and (ii) above is preferred, with (i) being more preferred. These organic thickeners may be used individually or in combination of two or more.
[0022] From the viewpoint of suitably exhibiting the effects of the present invention, the concentration of the organic thickener in the colored bleaching composition of the present invention is 0.1 to 10.0% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 5.0% by mass. The viscosity of the colored bleaching composition of the present invention at room temperature (25°C) is preferably 10,000 to 100,000 mPa / s, more preferably 15,000 to 100,000 mPa / s, and even more preferably 20,000 to 100,000 mPa / s. By incorporating an organic thickener, the viscosity of the colored bleaching composition of the present invention can be suitably adjusted to these ranges. When measuring viscosity, a BL-type viscometer is used, with rotors No. 2 to 4 and a rotation speed of 6 rpm.
[0023] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains an alkaline agent as component (c) in a concentration of 0.1 to 4.0% by mass as free alkali. The alkaline agent is used to adjust the pH of the colored bleaching composition to 11 to 14. As described below, from the viewpoint of more favorably exhibiting the effects of the present invention, the pH of the colored bleaching composition of the present invention is preferably 11 to 14.
[0024] The alkaline agent is not particularly limited and examples include alkali hydroxide (caustic alkali), carbonate, and silicate. Examples of alkali hydroxide include sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, examples of carbonate include sodium carbonate, and examples of silicate include sodium silicate. From the viewpoint of storage stability, inorganic potassium salts are preferred as the alkaline agent, and potassium hydroxide is even more preferred due to its availability.
[0025] Furthermore, if the concentration of the alkaline agent in the colored bleaching composition of the present invention is too low, sufficient effective chlorine concentration, viscosity, and storage stability of the color cannot be obtained, and if the concentration is too high, it is undesirable from the viewpoint of safety. Therefore, the concentration is 0.1 to 4.0% by mass as free alkali, and preferably 0.2 to 2.5% by mass.
[0026] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains, as component (d), an aromatic sulfonic acid compound having an electron-donating group or an alkali metal salt thereof, at a concentration of 0.1 to 10.0% by mass. The aromatic sulfonic acid compound having an electron-donating group and its alkali metal salt are preferably sulfonic acid compounds represented by the following general formula (II). R-SO3-M (II)
[0027] In formula (II), R contains an aromatic ring. R preferably has 4 to 18 carbon atoms. R may be linear or branched and may contain functional groups such as methoxy, amino, nitro, and hydroxyl groups. M represents an alkali metal, such as potassium or sodium. By incorporating an aromatic sulfonic acid compound or its alkali metal salt, the storage stability, color retention, viscosity, and rinseability of the colored bleaching composition are improved. Preferred aromatic sulfonic acid compounds include toluenesulfonic acid, xylenesulfonic acid, methoxybenzenesulfonic acid, and ethoxybenzenesulfonic acid, and their alkali metal salts (e.g., sodium methoxybenzenesulfonate) are also preferred.
[0028] In the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, if the concentration of the aromatic sulfonic acid compound or its alkali metal salt is too low, a sufficient stabilizing effect cannot be obtained, and if the concentration is too high, it becomes difficult to thicken the system and the storage stability decreases. Therefore, the concentration is 0.1 to 10.0% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 5.0% by mass.
[0029] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains a phthalocyanine-based pigment, which may be halogenated, as component (e) at a concentration of 0.0001 to 0.01% by mass. The phthalocyanine-based pigment, which may be halogenated, is used as a coloring agent for visualizing the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, and can preferably be represented by the following general formula (III). C 32 H (16-z) X z N8M (III) (In the formula, z is a number between 0 and 16, X represents a halogen atom, and M represents a metal atom.)
[0030] Examples of halogen atoms X include chlorine, bromine, and iodine atoms, with one or a combination of two or more being preferred, and chlorine atoms being particularly preferred. Examples of metal atoms M include iron, cobalt, and copper atoms, with one or a combination of two or more being preferred, and copper atoms being particularly preferred. The number of halogen substitutions z is 0 to 16, with 8 to 16 being particularly preferred. Furthermore, if the concentration of the halogenated phthalocyanine pigment is too low, sufficient visibility cannot be obtained, and if the concentration is too high, sufficient effective chlorine concentration, viscosity, and storage stability and dispersion stability of the colored bleaching composition cannot be obtained. Therefore, the concentration is 0.0001 to 0.01% by mass, preferably 0.0008 to 0.008% by mass.
[0031] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention contains a compound represented by the following general formula (I) as component (f) in a concentration of 0.1 to 3.0% by mass. Component (f) functions as a stabilizer. HO-(AO) n -OR (I)
[0032] In formula (I), R is a hydrogen atom or C m H 2m+1 This indicates that m is an integer from 1 to 4, A is a linear or branched alkylene group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer from 3 to 300.
[0033] Compounds represented by general formula (I) include polyalkylene glycols and polyethylene glycol monoalkyl ethers in which one end is substituted with an alkyl group. More specifically, R in general formula (I) can be hydrogen, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, or a butyl group. Of these, methyl polyethylene glycol obtained by methyl capping one end of polyethylene glycol has a molecular weight of 100 to 3000, but in the thickened system of the present invention, polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 300 to 7000 is superior in terms of stabilizing effect on alkali metal hypochlorite salts and cost, and is therefore particularly preferred. Normally, polyalkylene glycols have hydroxyl groups at both ends, which generally promotes the decomposition of alkali metal hypochlorite salts. However, in the thickened system of the present invention, the effect of the hydroxyl groups is almost negligible.
[0034] In the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, if the concentration of the compound represented by general formula (I) is too low, a sufficient stabilizing effect cannot be obtained, and if the concentration is too high, sufficient storage stability of effective chlorine concentration, viscosity, and color cannot be obtained. Therefore, the concentration is 0.1 to 3.0% by mass, preferably 0.2 to 2.0% by mass.
[0035] From the viewpoint of exhibiting the effects of the present invention more favorably, the colored bleaching composition of the present invention preferably further contains, as component (g), a water-soluble polymer having a sulfonic acid group at a concentration of 0.001 to 3.0% by mass. Component (g) is preferably added, in particular, for the purpose of further stabilizing the dispersion of the halogenated phthalocyanine pigment, which is component (e), and for the purpose of further improving the storage stability of the colored bleaching composition. In particular, when combined with component (f) represented by the above general formula (I), a synergistic effect is exhibited, and the storage stability of the colored bleaching composition is significantly improved.
[0036] Specific examples of component (g) include formaldehyde condensates of aromatic compounds having sulfonic acid groups, formaldehyde condensates of alkylene compounds having sulfonic acid groups, and water-soluble polymers having at least one sulfonic acid group selected from the group consisting of formaldehyde condensates of aromatic compounds having sulfonic acid groups and alkylene compounds having sulfonic acid groups. More specifically, examples include alkali metal salts of naphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensate, alkali metal salts of butylnaphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensate, alkali metal salts of butylnaphthalene sulfonic acid-naphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensate, alkali metal salts of metacresol methylene sulfonic acid formalin condensate, alkali metal salts of metacresol methylene sulfonic acid-scheffer acid formalin condensate, and alkali metal salts of creot oil sulfonic acid formalin condensate.
[0037] In the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, when component (g) is incorporated, if the concentration of component (g) is too low, a sufficient stabilization improvement effect cannot be obtained, and if the concentration is too high, sufficient storage stability of effective chlorine concentration, viscosity, and color cannot be obtained. Therefore, the concentration is 0.001 to 3.0% by mass, preferably 0.01 to 1.5% by mass.
[0038] From the viewpoint of exhibiting the effects of the present invention more favorably, the colored bleaching composition of the present invention preferably contains, as component (h), at least one surfactant represented by the following formulas (1) to (7) in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0% by mass. (1)R 1 COOM (2)R 2 O-(AO)n-SO3M (3)R 3 -Ph-SO3M (4)R 4 SO3 M (5)R 5 OSO3M (6)R 6 O-(AO)nR 7 COOM
[0039] In formulas (1) to (6), R 1 , R2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 Each of the above represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, A represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R 7 represents an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, n represents a number from 0.5 to 100, and M represents an alkali metal atom or an alkaline earth metal atom.
[0040] [ka]
[0041] In formula (7), R 8 R represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms. 9 R represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms, or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. 10 This represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
[0042] Examples of fatty acids and their alkali metal salts, which are compounds represented by formula (1), include caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, and their sodium and potassium salts. From the viewpoint of solubilizing power and bleaching properties, the fatty acids and their alkali metal salts are preferably those having 6 to 22 carbon atoms and their alkali metal salts, and more preferably those having 8 to 12 carbon atoms.
[0043] Furthermore, as a compound represented by formula (2), a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate (having a linear or branched alkyl group with 6 to 22 carbon atoms) is, in formula (2), R 2The ratio is preferably 8 to 18, and more preferably 10 to 14. A is an ethylene group, a propylene group, or a butylene group, with an ethylene group being preferred, and n (number of added moles) being 0.5 to 100, preferably 1 to 20, and even more preferably 1 to 10. Examples of compounds represented by formula (2) include polyoxyethylene (n=2.5) lauryl ether sodium sulfate and polyoxyethylene (n=4.0) lauryl ether sodium sulfate.
[0044] Furthermore, examples of alkylbenzenesulfonates (having a linear or branched alkyl group with 6 to 22 carbon atoms) represented by formula (3) include sodium decylbenzenesulfonate and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (sodium laurylbenzenesulfonate). However, mixtures of alkylbenzenesulfonates (especially sodium salts) having alkyl groups with approximately 10 to 14 carbon atoms, which are readily available, are usually used.
[0045] Furthermore, examples of alkanesulfonates (linear or branched alkanesulfonates with 6 to 22 carbon atoms) represented by formula (4) include sodium decylsulfonate and sodium dodecylsulfonate (sodium laurylsulfonate). However, mixtures of sodium alkanesulfonates having alkyl groups with approximately 10 to 14 carbon atoms, which are readily available, are commonly used.
[0046] Furthermore, examples of alkyl sulfate ester salts (having a linear or branched alkyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms) represented by formula (5) include sodium decyl sulfate and sodium dodecyl sulfate (sodium lauryl sulfate), but a mixture of readily available alkyl sulfate sodium esters having alkyl groups having 10 to 14 carbon atoms is preferably used.
[0047] Furthermore, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether carboxylates (having a linear or branched alkyl group with 6 to 22 carbon atoms), which are compounds represented by formula (6), are R in formula (6). 6 Examples of linear or branched alkyl groups having 6 to 22 carbon atoms represented by include hexyl, octyl, decyl, dodecyl, tetradecyl, hexadecyl, and octadecyl groups, with dodecyl and tetradecyl groups being particularly preferred. Furthermore, examples of linear or branched alkylene groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms represented by A include those having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, such as ethylene, propylene, isopropylene, and butylene groups, with ethylene and isopropylene groups being particularly preferred. Also, R 7 Examples of linear or branched alkylene groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, represented by , include methylene, propylene, isopropylene, and butylene groups, with methylene, propylene, and isopropylene groups being particularly preferred. Examples of alkali metal atoms represented by M include sodium and potassium atoms, with sodium atoms being particularly preferred, and examples of alkaline earth metal atoms include calcium and magnesium. Furthermore, n is more preferably in the range of 1 to 50, and particularly preferably in the range of 1 to 20.
[0048] Furthermore, specific examples of compounds represented by formula (6) above include sodium hexylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (o(oxidation number of moles of ethylene added)=3,8), sodium octylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (p=4.5), sodium dodecylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (p=10), sodium dodecylpolyoxypropyleneoxyacetate (p=2), sodium dodecylpolyoxyethyleneoxypropionate (p=5), sodium tetradecylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (p=10), sodium dodecylpolyoxyethyleneoxypropionate (p=5), sodium tetradecylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (p=10), and sodium nonylphenylpolyoxyethyleneoxyacetate (p=6.0).
[0049] Furthermore, examples of amine oxide-type surfactants represented by formula (7) include decyldimethylamine oxide and lauryldimethylamine oxide. Including an amine oxide having 1 to 2 alkyl groups with 4 to 18 carbon atoms in the molecule is preferable as it further improves the mold recurrence prevention effect. From the viewpoint of mold recurrence prevention effect, the number of alkyl groups with 4 to 18 carbon atoms in the molecule is preferably 1 or more and 2 or less, the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl group is more preferably 6 to 16, and even more preferably 10 to 14. When an amine oxide-type surfactant is incorporated into the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, if the concentration of the amine oxide-type surfactant is too low, a sufficient solubilizing effect cannot be achieved, and transparency cannot be maintained, especially at low temperatures, resulting in cloudiness and reduced surfactant effect and bleaching effect. On the other hand, if the concentration of the amine oxide-type surfactant is too high, storage stability decreases. From this viewpoint, the concentration of the amine oxide-type surfactant in the colored bleaching composition of the present invention is preferably 0.1 to 5.0% by mass.
[0050] The surfactant component (h) is stable and soluble in alkaline aqueous solutions in an aqueous solution of the alkali metal hypochlorite salt component (a).
[0051] The compounds represented by formulas (1) to (7) as component (h) can be used individually or as a mixture of two or more. When component (h) is incorporated into the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, if the concentration of component (h) is too low, it is difficult to achieve sufficient bleaching and permeability improvements in the colored bleaching composition, and if the concentration is too high, it is difficult to achieve sufficient effective chlorine concentration, viscosity, and storage stability improvements in color. Therefore, the concentration is 0.1 to 5.0% by mass, preferably 0.2 to 2.5% by mass.
[0052] From the viewpoint of suitably adhering the colored bleaching composition of the present invention to an object, the viscosity of the colored bleaching composition of the present invention at a room temperature of 25°C is preferably 10,000 to 100,000 mPa / s, more preferably 15,000 to 100,000 mPa / s, and even more preferably 20,000 to 100,000 mPa / s, as described above. The method for measuring viscosity is as described above.
[0053] Furthermore, from the viewpoint of more favorably exhibiting the effects of the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, the pH of the colored bleaching composition is 11 to 14, preferably 12 to 14, more preferably 12.5 to 14, and particularly preferably 12.9 to 13.9. Also, from the viewpoint of suppressing the decomposition of alkali metal hypochlorite salts, the pH of the colored bleaching composition is preferably 11 or higher, and from the viewpoint of ensuring safety to the human body during manufacturing and use, the pH is preferably 14 or lower. The pH of the colored bleaching composition is a value measured using a commercially available pH meter in a 25°C environment.
[0054] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention is a mixture in which components (a) to (f), and components (g) and (h) which may be added as needed, are dissolved or dispersed in water. That is, in the colored bleaching composition of the present invention, the water content is, for example, 50% by mass or more, more preferably 60% by mass or more, and even more preferably 70% by mass or more.
[0055] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention can be produced by mixing the above-mentioned components (a) to (f), and additional components (g) and (h) as needed, with water, after adjusting the concentration of each component to be within the predetermined range described above.
[0056] The coloring and bleaching composition of the present invention can be applied to an object to bleach its color and remove mold. The method of applying the coloring and bleaching composition of the present invention to an object is not particularly limited and includes methods such as spraying the coloring and bleaching composition, applying it as a foam by spraying, applying the liquid with a nozzle, and applying the liquid with a brush. Among these, the method of applying the liquid with a nozzle is preferred.
[0057] The present invention provides a method for removing mold stains, comprising at least three steps: 1) applying a mold remover containing the colored bleaching composition of the present invention to the mold stain on an object; 2) maintaining the state in which the colored bleaching composition is applied to the mold stain for 60 minutes or more; and 3) rinsing the colored bleaching composition with water.
[0058] In step 1, the method of applying the mold remover containing the colored bleaching composition of the present invention to the mold stain is as described above, for example, by spraying the colored bleaching composition, by spraying it in a foamy state, by applying the liquid with a nozzle, or by applying the liquid with a brush. Among these, the method of applying the liquid with a nozzle is preferred. The amount to be applied is per 100 cm² of the application area. 2 The amount is preferably 5 to 50 ml, and more preferably 10 to 30 ml. In step 2, since the colored bleaching composition of the present invention has high viscosity and can adhere to the applied surface for a long time, it is preferable to maintain the applied state for 3 hours or more in areas with severe mold stains. In step 3, the mold remover is rinsed with water. It is preferable to use running water for rinsing. Rinsing can be completed when the color applied to the mold remover is no longer visible.
[0059] The colored bleaching composition of the present invention may contain, in addition to the above-mentioned components (a) to (f), and optionally components (g) and (h), and water, other components may be added as needed, provided that they do not impair the effects of the present invention. Examples of other components include surfactants different from component (h), abrasives, solvents, chelating agents, defoaming agents, fragrances, colorants, etc. The colored bleaching composition of the present invention can also be made into a mold remover by adding other components. [0062] <Examples 1-11 and Comparative Examples 1-4> The components were mixed to obtain the colored bleaching composition shown in Table 1 (by mass%).
[0063] <Storage Stability Evaluation> 300 g of the colored bleaching composition was dispensed into a 300 mL polyethylene container, sealed, and stored at 50°C for 4 weeks. The storage stability for each component listed in Table 1 was then evaluated. The results are shown in Table 1.
[0064] For the storage stability evaluation, the degree of swelling of sealed containers was assessed by visually inspecting the containers. Viscosity was checked for dripping by applying the solution to mortar and rubber gaskets perpendicular to the ground. Discoloration was checked by visually observing the colored bleached composition. The remaining effective chlorine percentage was calculated using the following formula. Effective chlorine remaining percentage (%) = (Effective chlorine concentration after storage ÷ Effective chlorine concentration before storage) × 100
[0065] The evaluation criteria are as follows: (Container swelling) 5: The container is not inflated at all. 4: The container is hardly inflated. 3: The container is slightly bulging. 2: The container is slightly bulging. 1: The container is greatly bulging.
[0066] (viscosity) 5: Not drooping at all 4: It hardly sags at all. 3: Slightly drooping 2: It's hanging down a lot. 1: Most of it drips immediately after application.
[0067] (Fading) 5: No change in color before and after saving. 4: There was almost no change in color before and after saving. 3: The color has changed slightly before and after saving. 2: The color has changed quite significantly before and after saving. 1: The color has changed significantly before and after storage.
[0068] Furthermore, mold removal performance was assessed by applying a colored bleaching composition, stored at 50°C for 4 weeks, to mold growing on mortar and rubber gaskets under room temperature conditions. After standing for 1 hour, the composition was rinsed with running water, and the mold removal performance was visually confirmed. The evaluation criteria are as follows.
[0069] (Mold removal properties) 5: All the mold was removed. 4: Most of the mold was removed. 3: The mold was mostly removed. 2: Some of the mold was removed. 1: Mold is hardly removed.
[0070] [Table 1]
[0071] Table 1 shows the pH and viscosity of each component of the colored bleaching composition immediately after mixing and after 4 weeks at 50°C (measurements were taken at 25°C). The measurement methods are as described above.
[0072] The colored bleaching composition of Comparative Example 1, which does not contain the compound represented by general formula (I), which is component (f), nor the water-soluble polymer having a sulfonic acid group, which is component (g), shows a significant decrease in storage stability over time, and also has problems with mold removal. In Comparative Examples 2 and 3, by adding a formaldehyde condensate of an aromatic compound having a sulfonic acid group, which is component (g), and a formaldehyde condensate of an aromatic compound having a sulfonic acid group and an alkylene compound, respectively, some degree of storage stability and mold removal ability of the colored bleaching composition was observed. However, since the compound represented by general formula (I), which is component (f), is not included, the storage stability and mold removal ability cannot be said to be sufficient. Comparative Example 4 is a colored bleaching composition in which a formaldehyde condensate of an aromatic compound having a sulfonic acid group and an alkylene compound having a sulfonic acid group (component (g)) and methyl polyethylene glycol (MW=2000) (component (f)) are added to improve storage stability. However, because it does not contain an aromatic sulfonic acid compound having an electron-donating group or its alkali metal salt (component (d)), the viscosity decreases over time, and consequently, there are issues with storage stability.
[0073] On the other hand, the colored bleaching compositions of Examples 1 to 11 were confirmed to have excellent storage stability and mold removal properties. In particular, a comparison between Example 6 and Comparative Example 3 shows that combining polyethylene glycol with a formaldehyde condensate of an aromatic compound having a sulfonic acid group and an alkylene compound creates a synergistic effect, resulting in a significant improvement in storage stability.
[0074] As described above, the colored bleaching composition according to the present invention has been described in detail based on embodiments and examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the form or examples of this experiment, and various modifications can be made in accordance with the spirit of the present invention without departing from its scope.
