Abstract

The invention provides a novel peptide, CMGN-p1, with skin-regenerating properties. Its origin, synthesis, and functional characterization are described. The peptide consists of a chain of 14 amino acids and stimulates cell proliferation, migration, and adhesion. Its ability to be used as a healing agent for acute and chronic wounds is demonstrated, as it promotes the regeneration and healing of skin and mucous membranes. It may be useful for treating various skin conditions and other related body surfaces.
