Nanoparticle-based dietary nutrient mix

Abstract

The utility model relates to a nanoparticle-based dietary nutrient mix for aquaculture feed use. The nutrient mix comprises 20–50% by weight iron nanoparticles, 20– 40% by weight zinc nanoparticles, 10–35% by weight selenium nanoparticles, and 5–20% by weight copper nanoparticles. The nanoparticles are combined in powdered form to create a multi-element nanoparticle-based dietary nutrient mix suitable for incorporation into aquaculture feeds. When added to feed formulations, the nutrient mix may enhance nutrient delivery and support improved nutritional supplementation resulting to improved growth and feed conversion efficiency in fish.
