Abstract

Claims

OCR1. The power specification unit comprises a section specifying the first injection correction amount of the engine's fuel injection volume and the first torque correction amount of the motor, generated based on the throttle opening level and engine speed; a section specifying the first correction coefficient for the first injection correction amount and the first torque correction amount based on the catalytic converter temperature and the amount of ammonia absorption by the catalytic converter; and a calculation section that calculates i) the corrected injection amount obtained by subtracting the second injection correction amount obtained by multiplying the first injection correction amount by the first correction coefficient from the fuel injection volume; and ii) the corrected torque obtained by adding the second torque correction amount obtained by multiplying the first torque correction amount by the first correction coefficient to the motor torque.Power specification unit under claim 1, where the calculation section calculates the corrected injection volume that is greater than the obtained injection volume by subtracting the first correction injection volume from the fuel injection volume corresponding to the throttle opening level and calculates the corrected torque that is less than the obtained torque by adding the first torque correction volume to the motor torque corresponding to the throttle opening level.

It also involves determining the first correction coefficient for the first injection correction amount and the first torque correction amount based on the catalytic converter temperature and the catalytic converter's ammonia absorption rate, and calculating: i) the obtained corrected injection volume by subtracting the second corrected injection volume, which is obtained by multiplying the first corrected injection volume by the first correction coefficient from the fuel injection volume; and ii) the obtained corrected torque by adding the second corrected torque volume, which is obtained by multiplying the first corrected torque volume by the first correction coefficient, to the motor torque.
