[0004] Background of the Invention
[0005] Counterfeiting is the illegal copying or use of any content or work without the owner's permission. It is a growing problem that poses a serious threat to the government, companies and consumers and thus affects the global economy. Over time, counterfeiting has spread widely, from everyday consumer goods and medicines to high-value commodities, documents and currency.
[0006] This significant increase in counterfeiting can be attributed to advances in technology, illicit trade and globalization, weak law enforcement, the internet, online sales platform and undeniably the demand for consumer goods. Counterfeiting of documents and banknotes can reduce the integrity and value of currency, certificates or documents and progressively undermine public confidence. These illegal activities must be prevented not only by improvising existing anti-counterfeiting techniques and features, but also by inventing new ones that are difficult to copy but easily recognizable. In this context, secure printing plays an important role in reducing the threat of counterfeiting. The development of new smart materials and various advanced printing techniques can enable more sophisticated security features that can create a formidable obstacle for counterfeiters.
[0007] For someone with advanced technical knowledge and a devious mind, a piece of chalk or some flour or starch can be made into a tablet or pill. It is almost impossible to tell with the naked eye that this is a counterfeit. Labeling and packaging are often imitated for perfection. The global trade in counterfeit medicines, a multi-billion dollar industry, is thriving in Africa. The markets are flooded with counterfeit and inferior medicines, making going to the pharmacy seem like a game of Russian roulette. If you choose the wrong box, it could literally mean your death.
[0008] According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 100,000 deaths a year in Africa are linked to the counterfeit medicine trade. The British think tank International Policy Network estimates that 700,000 deaths a year worldwide are caused by counterfeit malaria and tuberculosis medicines, and compares the death rate to the equivalent of "four fully loaded jumbo jets crashing every day".
[0009] Invisible inks have started to be used in offset printing in order to prevent documents that require security, such as these counterfeit medicines. Offset printing technology is based on the action between oil and water. Due to their high concentration, they are known as paste inks, which must vary according to the printing press.
[0010] For sheet offset ink the concentration is equal to 550 to 500 Poiseu and for roll inks the ratio of the type of machine and the slope of the ink source varies from 90 to 180 Poiseu. Due to the frequency of use of offset printing paste, some characteristics of this paste are as follows; Offset (lithographic) inks are formulated to print on flat surfaces from printing plates that have neither embossed nor hollow image surfaces. Offset (lithography) is the only printing process in which chemicals and pharmaceuticals play a leading role.
[0011] In offset systems, the ink has to be transferred from zinc to the roller rubber (blanket) and then to the paper. During this transition, its thickness decreases and therefore the compound must have a high coloring power. This tinting power is provided by the pigment, so the higher the amount of pigment in the ink, the higher the tinting power of the final layer of ink transferred to the paper, and it also needs to be fluid. The ink must have some liquid in it for the pigments to move.
[0012] This liquid should be made of polished oily materials and none of the composite components (pigment or liquid) should be mixed with the pool solution. This is one of the most important features of composite offset. This property causes the ink transferred onto the zinc to adhere to the dry printed areas and not penetrate into the non-printed areas.
[0013] Offset printing ink should have a high color concentration and should not be mixed with water. Increasing the ambient temperature and mixing the compound due to the rotation of the offset press rollers reduces the concentration of the compound. The higher the adhesion of the compound, the higher the separation resistance and the more difficult it is to split by rolling. Offset printing inks are also called paste inks. Increasing the temperature reduces concentration and viscosity, but stirring reduces concentration and increases viscosity. Compound factors are used in inks. Compound factors include colorants, dyes and additives.
[0014] As pigments, colorants determine the color of the compound and can be either dyes or pigments. As dyes, the compound is soluble in the carrier liquid. It usually creates a sharp and bright color in the composition. But their post-printing properties are poor and substandard. Some of them have a good gloss, but fade quickly due to low light resistance. For this reason, inks containing dyes are not often used.
[0015] Pigments are a group of color compounds used to color other materials. Pigments are insoluble compounds and are not used as solutions, but in the form of finely ground fine solid particles mixed with liquid to form a suspension. In general, pigments are used in oil and water-based paints, printing inks and plastics. Postsegments can be organic (i.e. carbon-containing) or inorganic. Most mineral pigments are more transparent and longer lasting than organic pigments. Organic pigments made from natural sources have been used for centuries, but most pigments used today are synthetic. Synthetic organic pigments are derived from coal tar and other petrochemicals. Mineral pigments are found by relatively simple chemical reactions - especially oxidation - or naturally as soil sources.
[0016] Choosing a pigment is one of the most delicate things to consider, so the pigment's properties, including its chemical and physical properties, and its dispersing power are fully taken into account. The properties of pigments include color rendering, coverage, gloss, hardness, resistance, protection and adhesion enhancement, and other things that have a direct relationship with composite quality.
[0017] Composite Carrier: The carrier ensures the fluidity of the ink so that it flows easily over the ink rollers and has a uniform state on the plate of the printing press. The carrier is the liquid part of the compound, which consists of two parts: resin and solvent.
[0018] Resin: A resin is a solid or semi-solid material used as a binding agent in inks to help spread the pigment and adhere the ink to the printing surface. Resins also determine composite properties such as gloss, viscosity and adhesion. Resins are either derived from natural sources (such as resin obtained by distilling the sap of pine trees) and varnish (secreted by a type of insect) or synthesized by polymerization of other materials. Common resins include alkyds, petroleum resins, fumaric resin, gum, maleic resin, nylon, phenolic resin, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl chloride.
[0019] Solvent (Solvent): Since composites are prepared and used in liquid form, solvents or carrier liquids are one of the most important raw materials used in them. In solventbased composites, organic solvents are used to dissolve the polymers and oligomers that make up the final composite. The main properties of organic solvents are boiling point, relative evaporation rate, reactivity and toxicity. The solvent must also be compatible with the rubber rolling stereotype so as not to cause damage such as swelling, softening, dissolution or drying. The solvent is also responsible for maintaining the fluidity of the compound and controlling the drying speed. The fact that whether the compound dries early or late depends on the type and composition of the solvents used. Additives: In different combinations, the need for additives seems absolutely essential. Additives are substances that play an important role in the quality and durability of the print with very small amounts in the combined formula. Additives are as follows: dryer, waxes, defoamers, dust prevention in the printing room, pigment diffusers, invisible fluorescent pigment and carrier.
[0020] UV printing technology has been used in Europe since the early 1970s. This technique first started working commercially and has grown and perfected over time. In this method, printing is done by drying the ink with ultraviolet rays and electron beam (EB). In theoretical discussions, it is called UV processing technology because in this form of printing the ink is dried with the help of radiation.
[0021] When the printer spreads the ink on the surface (the desired material), special UV lamps (emitting ultraviolet rays) are installed in UV printing machines, which are responsible for the drying process. This process of UV machines is done photomechanically as it prevents the wet ink from spreading and dries quickly. This important function allows for better quality printing in processes that require detail, such as small print in design.
[0022] Over the years, with the increase in market growth, the secure printing industry has become more optimistic and innovative ideas are needed for unique and at the same time cost-effective security features. Organic, inorganic and hybrid molecules with suitable properties can be used in the formulation of printing inks that can be easily synthesized from low-cost starting materials.
[0023] UV inks are among the highest quality ink formulations. This is because;
[0024] • It is instantly dried by UV light irradiation so that it is immediately ready for further processing.
[0025] • It has excellent adhesion properties.
[0026] • It has excellent abrasion and chemical resistance properties.
[0027] • It has excellent consistency and reliability properties.
[0028] • There is no need for evaporation or special layers on surfaces.
[0029] • There is no VOC emission. UV ink inks contain the compounds necessary for the photochemical reaction initiated by exposure to UV light: monomers and photoinitiators. Photoinitiators: Form radicals upon UV exposure, which in turn initiate the polymerization of the monomers. UV ink gets its color from pigment dispersion. Many additives are needed to realize all quality characteristics, including surfactants, in-can stabilizers, adhesion promoters, etc.
[0030] Using UV light instead of heat, the UV curing process deposits an instant hardened ink layer on the substrate. While traditional heat and air drying processes require the solvent to evaporate, UV curing does not. UV curing also ensures higher productivity, more durable results and reduced waste and energy use, as it does not produce contaminants or cause coating thickness or volume loss.
[0031] The present invention provides a process for producing an invisible ink composition for all printing, which can significantly improve the productivity of the ink by the addition of colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) when obtaining the ink composition, and can produce the ink capable of providing printed material by sheet-fed, printing. It has higher printing quality than ink produced using the mixture obtained by the addition of colorless dry pigment [3 or 4 microns] and an ink composition for all printing produced by the production process.
[0032] The combination of the use of the materials given in the invention in certain proportions and the formulation of invisible compounds with the help of ultraviolet rays allows the liquid compound to dry quickly and with minimal evaporation of the solvent, which ensures the best possible image quality on paper surfaces or other materials.
[0033] And with the combination of moisture in the formulation of the inventive materials and conventional invisible compounds, resistance to environmental changes such as sunlight and humidity and subsequent fading and quick drying of the printed work, unlimited stability of the print, no crust formation, acceptable adhesion and wear-free fit on non-absorbent surfaces on non-uniform surfaces, very little odor compared to other printing methods, compatibility with the environment are the most important advantages of this method of the invention. The invention is a branch of the printing industry used for printing items such as securities printing, banknotes, checks, passports, tamper-evident packaging, labels, security tape, product authentication, stocks, stamps and birth certificates. It is used to prevent counterfeiting, unauthorized copying and to create more security in documents, which is the main purpose of security printing.
[0034] With the invisible-to-visible security ink with UV drying system, which polymerizes by chemical changes, a color change reaction takes place from invisible to visible under reflection under UV light with frequencies of 395 and 365 nm.
[0035] Invisible ink, also known as safety ink or sympathetic ink It is also known to derive from forms of steganography. It is an ink used in the security printing industry to render text and images on documents invisible. When UV ink is used, it is invisible to the eye and can be seen with radiation (UV) with frequencies of 395 and 365 nm using ultraviolet light.
[0036] Because invisible ink has no color (it is colorless) and when security ink is used, it only reacts with the right equipment that uses UV at a specific wavelength.
[0037] The importance of invisible ink in packaging and security programs; in addition to packaging, invisible ink is also widely used for security purposes. Today, everything from banknotes to credit cards have various security and anti-counterfeiting measures. It is also important to note that even expensive beauty products are not excluded from these security cases and should have UV security inks on the packaging to protect against counterfeit products. In these cases, it will be easy to determine whether a product is legitimate or not without visible markings, only with security inks.
[0038] There are two different types of ink commonly used: VOC volatile organic compounds graphic ink, which is commonly used in normal offset, and UV graphic ink. In the UV curing process, no solvent is released as a chemical reaction. UV compound can be used in two directions as a feature. The offset part is hydrophobic offset printing system and dry offset with UV drying system. INKJET UV inkjet is another part of a digital printing system and can be used to control the viscosity properties of a liquid such as UV offset ink, printing ink. It defines the degree of resistance to flow or the ability to adhere to a surface. A very viscous liquid such as offset ink is used. A very viscous or "non-sticky" liquid, such as water or alcohol, that flows freely. In terms of ink, viscosity refers to the ink's resistance to flow.
[0039] The viscosity of the ink depends on the printing process it is designed for and the nature of the substrate it adheres to. Ink viscosity is part of its body. The viscosity of a given ink can be controlled and changed according to the prints applied to it.
[0040] INKJET UV ink is used with the same quality and advantages used in the invention numbered PCT / IB2020 / 056708 belonging to the same applicant, and INKJET UV ink is used in the parts of the INKJET UV system. The production process used in the invention numbered PCT / IB2020 / 056708 belongs to the same inventor and the patent numbered PCT / IB2020 / 056708 is registered in the invented system. The device is completed as a whole with its own ink and compounds used in the device due to its exclusivity and unique printing system and the integrity of the production process. This makes document forgery more difficult than ever before. It also provides consumers with an authentic product and easy purchasing. This means more security in the security certificate industry and the packaging industry.
[0041] According to industry reports, the packaging market segment is growing. Statistics show that the growth of the securities printing sector has remained at 10 million dollars for several years and unlike other sectors, the cost of raw materials such as security compounds is very expensive and therefore important and cannot be entered into the packaging sector. However, with the present invention, the production and use of high quality and long lasting invisible ink provides the following advantages:
[0042] • It has anti-wear properties and a higher light intensity than previous compounds, • It has managed to take its place in the security sector in the best way with affordable and cheap prices that can compete.
[0043] This represents a revolution in the development of security printing and instead of 10 million dollars, the market can be allocated to the commercial, industrial and packaging sectors to some extent.
[0044] And since the UV ink in the subject invention contains pigment in its structure, its permanence is ensured to a great extent. While the drying time of the normal ink currently used is in minutes, the drying time of the UV ink in the invention is in seconds.
[0045] The UV ink in the invention uses much less energy to operate the drying unit than the gas tunnel oven used for drying solvent-based inks. For printing with UV ink for other materials (film - PVC - metal - glossy lacquered grades with high cream tops) no substrate is required. UV ink has adhesion and stability on all materials. Printing is done with precise details and in offset printing systems the ink does not dry on the plates and cylinder printing ink "before UV radiation" during the printing process. And there is no problem in the systems.
[0046] As the benefits of the invention the subject of the invention;
[0047] • Since there are no solvents in the composition of invisible UV ink, viscosity is controlled. And based on this approach, it is used for a long time without changing its structure in all works.
[0048] • Compared to currently used compounds, invisible UV ink is environmentally friendly as it does not release solvents into the air.
[0049] In UV ink (the subject of the invention), the intensity of the light emitted from the reflected radiation of the invisible ink is more often compared to optical lumens. Because the dry powder of the invention has additives such as chemical additives and fluorescent pigments. And in this type of ink, quantitative and qualitative control of the resin is important for its quality. Increased durability and lifetime on printed surfaces. High absorbency printing on all materials due to increased adhesion. 200LPI high resolution (lines per inch) Optimum print quality and high quality printing. Possibility to combine colors for efficiency and get more color combinations than currently available. Optimum use in the printing and packaging industries to increase the safety factor and prevent counterfeiting of genuine products due to longer durability, resistance to sunlight and abrasion.
[0050] The invention invisible UV security inks are primarily used to ensure the authenticity of products. Due to the low price, UV system ink can be used in documents such as certificates, stocks, shipping documents, paper money or ID cards. It can also be used in the security printing sector in the field of commercial and industrial, food and pharmaceutical packaging printing. Because these counterfeit products can seriously affect companies' profits. The low quality of counterfeit products can also damage their reputation and financial economy.
[0051] When it comes to sensitive products such as medicines, airplane and car parts, human life and health can be at risk. Consumers are at risk because fraudsters have figured out how to counterfeit UV labels. With the invention, this risk is eliminated by combining materials through the production process of the UV ink system. In the printing process, the ink can be used in the offset and digital inkjet printing industry. Security inks visible under UV light are much more difficult for fraudsters to copy.
[0052] Thanks to the invention, the products used have greater stability and wear resistance compared to previous compounds. There is no need for constant quality control of the viscosity to increase production and it provides support in optimizing costs (which used to be cheaper). Oxidation is prevented by dispersion on the pressure plate and rubber.
[0053] Ordinary offset inks are more fluid and less sticky than UV inks. Most offset inks dry quickly without the need for additional air drying equipment. All offset inks contain water-repellent materials, because offset lithography is based on the fact that oil and water do not mix (so-called hydrophobic). As several advantages of the invented UV inks; the ink dries faster. There is less risk of errors in the offset or digital printing system when passing under UV light so that printing systems can run faster. It is not possible with UV ink to prevent wet ink from transferring from a printed page to the top or bottom page, but it is very risky with composite system and regular inks. There are fewer emissions of organic solvents. UV inks are best suited for printing on plastic and other non-porous surfaces. The inventive ink dries faster. Therefore offset printing machines can run faster and without interruption. And there are fewer quality risks in offset (transfer of wet ink up or down the plate). Colors are more vivid and bright because there is less absorbent ink on the substrate.
[0054] The ink in the INKJET printing system plays an optimal role in spraying the ink cartridges with a perfect coating and creating good print quality. When the mixed pigments and dry powder materials dry under UV light, they polymerize instantly and all the materials and pigments in the mixture dry and become resistant, adhering more and more firmly to the working surface and becoming more durable and long- lasting.
[0055] The invention results in less organic solvent emission. Invisible UV inks are suitable for printing on plastics and other non-porous surfaces with high adhesion and durability. Dry powder materials and erosil paste enhance 100% adhesion and antiwear properties to provide a more durable compound.
[0056] As benefits of the invention;
[0057] • It provides less organic solvent emission.
[0058] • It provides invisible printing on all materials with continuous durability.
[0059] • It provides more resistant invisible ink printing without causing abrasion.
[0060] • It provides more adhesion to the surface.
[0061] • It provides instant drying in under one second.
[0062] • It saves production time in printing machines because the ink does not dry before UV rays.
[0063] It emits reflected light when visible due to high lumen UV light radiation. With resistance, it emits a lot of light and provides more durability. In combination with pigment and UV resin, it depends on the factors of the creator and the added materials. As a result of polymerization (drying) under UV light, they all mix together and adhere to the surface continuously. At this stage, all materials are also polymerized at once, allowing the light emitted by UV radiation of 365 or 395 nm to increase resistance, adhesion, abrasion resistance, longevity and reflectivity. The invention demonstrates its excellent performance compared to existing inks and compounds.
[0064] This ink can be used for the commercial printing sector and all printing cases such as packaging and label packaging and industrial commercial boxes, cosmetics, medicines, health and safety documents and all situations that prevent counterfeiting and counterfeiting and provide security. It provides convenience to consumers and producers and is mainly used in products to promote genuine products.
[0065] The integrated printing system, registered with PCT patent number PCT / IB2020 / 056708 applied for by the same inventor, is used to create a unique quality with the specified UV structure feature in all printing stages.
[0066] A high resolution DPI print quality direction is required for LPI screen printing with fine and coarse densities for a flawless print and fine lines printing without cascading lines. Also lines, lettering and images are required in the outdoor environment.
[0067] Thanks to highly pigmented pigments and highly coated dry powder materials, prints are made from an ink with high concentration, appropriate density and high viscosity. And the inks are used in the composition of the binder, which is required to adhere to the pressure of the droplets when placed on the material.
[0068] The higher the resolution, the higher the quality of the image and this is a very necessary condition for printing. However, not every high resolution is necessary for every print.
[0069] Some types of printing require a certain level of resolution and good resolution is necessary to use the ink. A line is made up of groups of printer dots. For example, in an image, 64 printer dots (8x8) make up a line dot, while a different size dot can be used to achieve a different gray level. Given that it has the following properties; I. Printer at 1200dpi
[0070] II. Printing at 150 Ipi
[0071] The math is as follows: 1200 / 150=8. (each size) 8x8 = 64. You can only have 64 levels of gray. This allows for more ink coverage and better quality and clarity. However, the combination of pigment and binder, dry powder and combined polymer with the materials produced must be completely controlled in the mixer. During this process, the planetary mills are mixed together and the concentration of the paint and ink coating is increased by this action. This results in less ink consumption and more product. In addition, high adhesion, fast drying quality, clarity and, more importantly, perfect color combination are achieved.
[0072] It is the property of a liquid, such as printing ink, described by its "pseudo-body". Properties such as consistency, thickness and viscosity, which are reduced by applying tension or other forces, are important in ink. Some inks, such as offset inks, are hard and thick in their containers, like putty. However, as soon as they work, they become thinner and more fluid. They are usually separated due to the unstable structure caused by the solid particles in the ink and by applying the frictional force of the rollers. If thixotropic ink remains intact, it thickens again. Thixotropy is one of the reasons why offset machines need so many ink rollers.
[0073] When enough pressure is applied to the ink already in place, it becomes less sticky and easier to apply to the plate, blanket and finally transferred to the material. Some inks also have the opposite properties. They show expansion, where the viscosity increases with the application of stress. The interaction of paper and ink is very important in printing. Ideal print outputs must be achieved with minimum ink consumption.
[0074] It should not be assumed that increasing the amount of ink available will improve visual print quality or coating density. The ink quantity and lightness of CIE's color perception varies from device to device.
[0075] Inkjet printing is a rapidly growing business area as it has many advantages compared to traditional printing technologies, for example, there are no restrictions on surface roughness. It has no restriction on design and color, inkjet is widely used in commercial and office applications, especially in the security printing industry, the ink developed by the patented technology process and presented in PCT (PCT / IB2020 / 056708)), which was applied by the same applicant and is gaining a strong position. In addition, it is anti-counterfeiting and anti-copying in the packaging industry, commercial and industrial applications. There are numerous reports on inkjet printing, both theoretical and experimental.
[0076] The behavior of droplets affecting the porous medium and numerous applications are important in this process. Inkjet printing can be solved analytically. This allows to obtain a comprehensive view of the relationships between ink droplet properties (volume, impact velocity, viscosity and surface tension), substrate properties (pore size and surface energy, etc.) and interactions between ink and substrate. Impact pressure, contact angle, ink penetration depth, etc.). This study is important on the dynamics of conventional printing processes.
[0077] Assuming that the impact force of the ink droplet at time t is F(t), since the ink droplet is spherical, the detailed process can be seen as the ink droplet hits the substrate surface slice by slice. According to the Impact Theorem, the change in impulse and momentum satisfies the following relationship, and provided that the slice has zero velocity in the vertical direction after impact,
[0078] F(t)dt = pr (2rz- z2)vdz [1] where p is the bulk density of the ink, r is the radius of the ink droplet, z is the height of the slice counted when the bottom of the sphere touches the substrate surface and dz is the thickness of the slice. Let the volume of the ink drop be Volume. The radius of the ink drop is equal,
[0079] When the relationship z = v is used in the equation and taken as 1 ;
[0080] F(t)=pr [2rvt -(vt)2] v2 [3] Provided that the surface porosity is <p, the average pressure due to the impact force is equal,
[0081] This expression describes the detailed time dependence of the impact pressure. The time expression in the other equations is in the time of impact of the ink droplet, i.e;
[0082] Because the ink droplet is small, the impact time is extremely short in microseconds.
[0083] It is therefore practically convenient to write the impact force as a delta function, i.e.
[0084] F(t)=C0 d(t) [5] where the quantity CO is a constant. According to the Impulse Theorem, this can be easily seen.
[0085] CO = measured value [6] where m = pVol is the mass of the ink droplet. If this expression is put into the Lucas- Washburn equation (Washburn, 1921 ), one obtains the following: where L represents the length in
[0086] Since ink penetration does not have to go down only towards the substrate, the left hand term in equation 7 refers to viscos drag, while the first term on the right hand side (ink droplet) comes from the impact force and the second term from the capillary force. The general expression for the length of ink penetration at time t is as follows:
[0087] In equation 8, L0 is the initial length of the ink penetration caused by the impact of the ink droplet,
[0088] As results, Equations 4, 8 and 9 are the main results of the model. They give a comprehensive view of the relationships between ink droplet properties, substrate properties and interactions between ink and substrate. Simulations based on these equations shed light on the fundamentals of inkjet printing that are difficult to achieve by experimental means. The surface porosity of the substrate is assumed to be cp = 30% in all simulations.
[0089] As for the impact pressure of the ink droplets, the graph below shows the pressure profiles resulting from the impact of the ink droplets at different volumes and spray rates. The time duration of the impact process is in the order of microseconds. It can also be seen that the peaks of the impact pressure depend only on the spray rates, while the duration of the impact processes depends only on the volumes of the droplets
[0090] Impact pressure profiles of ink droplets of different volume and velocity
[0091] The other graph below shows the ink penetration length corresponding to different contact angles of 35 and 70 degrees.
[0092]
[0093] As for the calculation of the graph above, in Equation 8 the other parameters (given in the figure) remain the same throughout the calculation and the ink penetration depth is calculated. The graph shows the time evolution of the ink penetration length corresponding to inks with different contact angles with the substrate surface. As can be seen, the penetration length (depth) is highly dependent on the expected contact angle from Equation 1 . Equation 8 and a graphical representation of Equation 9 are shown. For a coated surface of small pores (R = 0.2 pm), the initial penetration depth is 0.26 pm when the impact speed is 30 m / s, while for a larger pore (R = 1 pm) the corresponding depth is 1.30 pm.
[0094] An extended inkjet printing model is developed by including the ink droplet effect in the above graph. Through analytical solution, a comprehensive view of the relationships between the properties of the ink, the substrate properties and the interactions between the ink and the substrate can be obtained.
[0095] In the PCT patent (PCT / IB2020 / 056708) the calculation substances according to the use have been applied and reviewed, so the substances mentioned in the hydrophobic lithography offset printing system have similar substances. Advantages and properties of UV composite are as follows;
[0096] • At the moment of irradiation, drying takes place in less than a second and once fixed, it is not possible to reverse the process.
[0097] • Cationic drying is possible.
[0098] • Cationic systems have less odor.
[0099] • The color transfer is highly dependent on temperature and viscosity, and it is possible to achieve better color separation, better print prediction, increase different stages of color intensity.
[0100] • As controllable viscosity, UV compound consumption is less than normal compounds.

[0109] • It has fast water and compound balance.
[0110] • It is much cheaper and more economical than current inks.
[0111] UV-invisible structures differ from ordinary compounds in several ways. One of the main differences is that the UV compound is stabilized by photochemical process instead of normal drying. The UV compound has chemicals called photoinitiators. When this compound is exposed to UV light, it changes from liquid to solid as a result of a complex chemical reaction. Once the compound is stabilized, it is impossible to reverse this process. This is why it has greater adhesion, stability, resistance, antiwear and longevity. The print quality in UV provides clarity and sharpness of images and is higher than ordinary composite printing. This printing method can be used for very small line prints and small-letter text. With the micro-printing method currently used, two percent tram can be printed. Under these conditions, results comparable to UV can be achieved when compared with normal compounds.
[0112] Another feature of UV ink is that it dries completely after one color printing and before the second color printing, preventing problems caused by overlapping two wet inks. However, when two inks that are not completely dry in normal inks are placed on top of each other, it usually creates problems that can be seen on the edges of the printed work. That is, one color penetrates through the other to the edge of the work, and this is called overlapping.
[0113] During the finishing stages such as cutting, trimming and collecting of the print roll and after printing, UV ink enables these processes to be carried out without the risk of the ink getting into unwanted areas.
[0114] As a result of the composition and production of the materials, invisible fluorescent dry pigments can be seen in a combination of invisible to visible colors (magenta red- blue-green-yellow).
[0115] Transparent dry powders are invisible (colorless) trifunctional epoxy resins. A trifunctional epoxy resin can be prepared by the reaction of trimethylolpropane-N- triglycidyl ether, trimethylolpropane and epichlorohydrin. Tri-purpose epoxy resin has carbon, hydrogen and oxygen as its chemical structure. This epoxy resin is a low viscosity, non-crystalline plastic material that cures at low temperature. The formula of the liquid UV primer and binder (polyvinyl butyryl) molecule is (C8H14O2)n, which is fully sensitive to ultraviolet rays for drying.

[0119] Patent application with number US9765226B2 describes printable compositions comprising a IIV-A blocking compound, and wherein the composition is free of colorants that are visible under white light or UV light. Also images formed by printing the printable composition onto a substrate surface are disclosed, and wherein the substrate surface comprises one or more UV fluorescent materials on at least a portion thereof. Also methods of forming an image on a substrate, including printing a selected amount of the printable composition on a UV fluorescent material are described.
[0120] When the above-mentioned patent applications are examined, it is seen that the mentioned disadvantages of the inks used continue, and after all the work done, this invention has been produced. Thanks to the invention, easy-drying, affordable, long- lasting and all kinds of color pigments are produced, and with this invention, ink that allows printing of valuable documents or packaging in the field of secure printing is obtained.
[0121] The present invention relates to a printing ink for anti-counterfeiting documents and packaging, characterized in that it is an longer lasting and higher quality invisible UV ink for use in secure documents, which dries easily, prevents leakage of inks after printing, allows printing of valuable documents or packaging in a secure printing area, and is more efficient in print type and display.
[0122] The ink which is the subject of the invention consists of invisible fluorescent pigment, colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns), blue phthalocyanine toner, epoxy acrylate resin, monomeric diluent, benzophenone (UV initiator), light stabilizers, silicone lubricant additive and binder in certain proportions, and the materials as well as compounds subject to the present invention are used in the printing system mentioned in the international application PCT / IB2020 / 056708 by the same inventor, HASSAN MAMIZADEH, which is produced without the need for gravure plates and intaglio machines. The sixth part of the international application with number PCT / IB2020 / 056708 is designed for the most important feature of security documents. The use of these materials in the digital security printing inkjet printing system is described in detail.
[0123] The present invention provides a process for producing an invisible ink composition for all printing inks, which can significantly improve the productivity of the ink by the addition of colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) when obtaining the ink composition, and can produce the ink capable of providing printed material by sheet-fed printing. It has higher printing quality than ink produced using a mixture of colorless dry pigment [3 or 4 micron] and an ink composition for all printing inks produced by the production process.
[0124] The ink should be wet on the offset press and dry in a thin layer when transferred and printed, and the amount of pigment in the thin layer should provide good coverage. No more than the standard thickness should be used to cover the color intensity, because when the print and paper are lined up side by side, the ink must be semi-solid so that it does not migrate to the back of the next page. When this happens, it is called backstabbing. Thanks to this invention, there is no backstabbing in production and the desired quality products are obtained in one time, which provides savings.
[0125] With the "UV and IR SYSTEM BUILT IN A MOBILE PHONE" numbered 2023 / 003783 and whose inventor is HASSAN MAMIZADEH, the control of the products produced with the security printing produced with the ink in this invention can be easily done by every user, and both inventions are used as complementary to each other. Because with the system numbered 2023 / 003783, which can be used in mobile phones that everyone has in daily life, users can check whether products that require security such as money, packaging or medicine are counterfeit or not. The quality of the ink used in these products is clearer and is used for anti-counterfeiting documents and packaging. In previous systems, the feature of being safe in the packaging sector could not be realized in every packaging due to the cost, and counterfeit products were used too much, but with this ink, long-lasting and one-time printing can be done on every desired document and packaging, and with the system numbered 2023 / 003783, users can also check the accuracy of all packaging.
[0126] The inks used in offset start as a paste that is separated into a film through a series of rollers. A second set of rollers brings a water solution and both ink and water are applied to the printing plate. The plate surface is either water repellent (phobic) or water accepting (philic). The ink is transferred to a rubber blanket and then to the substrate. Of course, the chemical nature of a paint has a significant impact on its hue, particle size or the ability to apply a particular ink. It is the use of different types of resins, oils and solvents that affect the tone or purity of a particular paint. Sometimes even some additives (e.g. for dispersion) can cause changes in the color of the dye. In addition to the structure of the ink itself, the proportions of its individual components are also very important. As a result of the compositions used with this invention, the efficiency of the ink has increased.
[0127] This invention is longer lasting and higher quality invisible UV ink used for secure documents which is used for printing items such as securities documents, banknotes, checks, passports, labels, security tapes, product authentication, stock certificates, stamps and birth certificates, which is able to significantly increase the productivity of the ink by the addition of colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) when obtaining the ink composition and which ensures the long life of the printed material with printing , which is an invisible ink composition used in all printings, which dries easily in under 1 second, enabling production in one time and which and reduces the costs and enables savings, which has greater stability and wear resistance and which is suitable for long-term use without degradation, and when used in printing processes, it expands its usage area by reducing the cost in secure printing due to its fast drying feature.
[0128] The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the figures and the detailed description given below, and therefore this evaluation should be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.
[0129] Description of the Invention
[0130] The invention of longer lasting and higher quality invisible UV ink used for secure documents is described in the following detailed description without any limiting effects.
[0131] The ink which is the subject of the invention consists of a combination of invisible fluorescent pigment, colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns), blue phthalocyanine toner, epoxy acrylate resin (water based acrylic resin), monomeric diluent (reactive diluents), benzophenone (UV initiator), light stabilizers, silicone additives and binders given in certain proportions.

[0140] • 5-10% binders.
[0141] The invisible fluorescent pigment in the invention is a white powder pigment that glows super bright under UV light.
[0142] The colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) in the invention consists of 10 different substances and is used in dry form. The percentage uses of this colorless dry pigment protected by the same inventor with application number 2023 / 004788 are as follows:
[0143] • 3-5% photopolymerization initiator,
[0144] • 1-3% fillers,
[0145] • 40-45% polymer material (C2H4)n and (PE),
[0146] • Antistatic material with 1-2% mixture of chromium salts + salicylic acid + vinyl pyridine + methacrylate,
[0147] • 1-2% antioxidant material (masterbatch),

[0153] The blue phthalocyanine toner included in the invention is generally known by EINECS 205-685-1. It is widely used as a primary or secondary color in paints and dyes. This pigment is highly valued for its outstanding qualities, including acid resistance, light fastness, alkali resistance, tinting strength and hiding power. However, due to its bluish color, this Phthalocyanine Blue is insoluble in water or other solvents. It is also used in coatings, ink and various polymers because of its durability. This pigment is insoluble and non-volatile. It also has no tendency to migrate. It is the basic pigment used in packaging and printing ink. The epoxy acrylate resin (water-based acrylic resin) in the invention has a wide range of high performance properties. As these properties;
[0154] • It provides high viscosity,
[0155] • It provides high responsiveness,
[0156] • It provides extreme stiffness or flexibility,
[0157] • It ensures robust chemical resistance,
[0158] • It provides pigment and filler wetting properties,
[0159] • It provides a high gloss property,
[0160] • As a film-forming material of water-based ink as bisphenol A-free solutions, it adheres the pigment to the surface of the substrate, giving the ink considerable body,
[0161] • It ensures that the ink has sufficient leveling, spreadability and smooth gloss on the surface of the substrate,
[0162] • The water-based acrylic resin used in water-based inks has an efficient wetting and abrasive property and ensures the dispersing performance and printability of the coating,
[0163] • The water-based acrylic resin used in the water-based ink enhances the printing and dissolving performance of the coating.
[0164] The monomeric diluent of the invention (Reactive diluents), together with other industry standard monomers such as vinyl-ether and / or -amide monomers - acrylates - are widely used in light initiated copolymerization reactions with acrylate oligomers, epoxy and unsaturated polyester resins in both radical and cationic UV curing systems. It effectively reduces viscosity at low levels, enhances the conversion of acrylate oligomers and improves the performance properties of the cured system such as adhesion, shrinkage and flexibility as well as scratch, thermal and chemical resistance. Reactive diluents are substances that reduce the viscosity of a lacquer or resin for processing and become part of the lacquer or coating during subsequent curing through copolymerization. A non-reactive diluent would be a solvent or plasticizer. Diluents (or thinners) are often added to lacquers or other resins to reduce their viscosity and rheology. In the case of thermally cured lacquers, such added diluents are volatiles that evaporate from the lacquer during drying. The benzophenone (UV initiator) in the invention is also known as photoinitiator. Photoinitiators are compounds that produce radicals when exposed to UV light. These then react with monomers and / or oligomers to initiate polymer chain growth. They are key components of all UV-curable adhesives, inks and coatings. UV curing technology has been widely used for coatings, inks, adhesives and electronics since the 1980s due to its economic and ecological advantages as well as its excellent finishing properties. As one of the most important components of UV curable formulations, various photoinitiators have been developed to meet industrial requirements. An efficient photoinitiator should have a suitable absorption range matching the emission spectrum of the UV lamp used to achieve high initiation quantum yield.
[0165] The light stabilizers in the invention are auxiliary for the UV initiator. Atmospheric UV radiation destroys polymers. The energy level of these photons is (290-400 nm) and causes the destruction of polymers. Light stabilizers are used to protect polymers and other materials against long-term degradation by exposure to ultraviolet radiation, which can be caused by sunlight or fluorescent lamps. Radiation-induced degradation leads to the observation of negative effects in polymeric materials. It prevents the formation of defects and cracks in the polymer, including discoloration of the appearance (discoloration or change in the gloss of the part) and weakening of mechanical properties. Light (optical) stabilizers can stabilize polymers through several different mechanisms. In the first mechanism, the stabilizer absorbs the beam and returns with less energy. In another method, the excited macromolecule is quenched to a higher energy level and the energy is lost as heat.
[0166] The silicone additive in the invention improves processing speeds and print conversion by reducing the dynamic and static coefficient of friction. Silicone surfactants also improve the wetting performance of inks and overprint varnishes (OPVs). There are important factors to be considered in order to make the right additive formulation for inks and varnishes. The use of silicone-based additives provides excellent wetting and foam control, abrasion resistance, water resistance and slip. High molecular weight siloxanes also improve dry friction resistance and lower coefficient of friction for waterborne acrylic formulations. These silicone-based additives are used in a variety of industries, including food packaging, diapers, disposable shopping bags and plastic products, with the ink in the invention created due to its water-resistant property.
[0167] The binders in the invention make up 5% to 10% of the composition of the ink. It is used to wet the pigment, which facilitates the dispersion of its particles. It is the adhesive that determines the printing properties of the ink and also the way it bonds with the substrate. These substances also ensure adequate gloss and abrasion resistance. Various types of resins are usually used as binders. PCC Group offers a range of products used as intermediates in the preparation of base resins. The binder resin is usually a mixture of resin (hardener), vegetable or mineral oils and drying agent. In other words, the binder is a colorless or varnish-free compound. Oils are added to the mixture to melt and lubricate the hard and sticky resin so that the mixture reaches a suitable fluidity. In addition, oils are responsible for the homogeneous distribution of pigments.
[0168] The invention includes invisible fluorescent dry pigments in invisible to visible colors (magenta red - blue - green - yellow).
[0169] The present invention provides a process for producing an invisible ink composition for offset printing, which can significantly improve the productivity of the ink by the addition of colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) when obtaining the ink composition, and can produce the ink capable of providing printed material by sheet-fed printing. It has higher print quality than ink produced using a mixture with the addition of colorless dry pigment [3 or 4 microns] and an ink composition used for all printing inks produced by the production process. It can also be added to existing inks, resulting in both better print quality and cheaper ink.
[0170] In the compound of the invention, UV radiation activates photoinitiators in the compound. These initiators are usually broken down and decomposed into two active radicals, linking monomers and oligomers together in a three-dimensional network. Meanwhile, colorless electrostatic dry powder materials are impregnated with invisible fluorescent dyes, and together with the main dyes at the beginning of the work, the photoinitiators initiate their reactions for polymerization or network action and confinement and become the polymer network. With this performance, they become hardness and abrasion resistant and bring longer life, favorable and low price.
[0171] Since the invention is used in the polymer primary production process, it is combined with invisible fluorescent pigments during invisible compounding and grinding. When the material passes through UV light after the printing process is completed, the UV system emits a frequency other than the UV drying frequency as a result of the UV drying process. While the material dries by emitting heat with UV frequency, the invention material (dry material) melts with UV heat radiation at the same time and the fluorescent pigment traps the other materials into itself with the maximum amount of vapor of the material. Thus, the material dries and in the process provides more durable and long-lasting, more adhesion and more quality visible light.
[0172] This invention is the longer lasting and higher quality invisible UV ink used for secure documents which is used for printing items such as securities documents, banknotes, checks, passports, labels, security tapes, product authentication, stock certificates, stamps and birth certificates, which is able to significantly increase the productivity of the ink by the addition of colorless dry pigment (3 or 4 microns) when obtaining the ink composition and which ensures the long life of the printed material with printing , which is an invisible ink composition used in all printings, which dries easily in under 1 second, enabling production in one time and which and reduces the costs and enables savings, which has greater stability and wear resistance and which is suitable for long-term use without degradation.
[0173] The invention invisible UV security inks are primarily used to ensure the authenticity of products. Due to the low price, UV system ink can be used in documents such as certificates, stocks, shipping documents, paper money or ID cards. It can also be used in the security printing sector in commercial and industrial, food and pharmaceutical packaging printing.
