[0003] The invention relates to clinical medicine, namely to lymphology, surgery, plastic surgery, oncology, for the treatment of lymphatic edema, primary and secondary lymphedema, in adults and children, including those accompanied by infectious complications, namely to methods for treating lymphedema and the use of available drugs in the treatment of any stage and localization of lymphatic edema.

[0005] Lymphedema is a chronic, progressive disease of the lymphatic system. It impairs the drainage and detoxification function of the lymphatic system, leading to impaired drainage of free fluid from the tissues of the extremities, resulting in high-protein edema. As a result, limb size increases as the disease progresses, leading to pain, limited range of motion, and a significant deterioration in quality of life.
[0006] Pathogenic causes of lymphatic system damage include: developmental abnormalities of the lymphatic system, manifested at birth, during the first year of life, or with age due to provoking factors; damage to the structures of the lymphatic system as a result of trauma, another disease, or surgery, for example, during lymph node dissection as part of cancer treatment.
[0007] Swelling due to lymphedema provokes the development of neuropathy with the following symptoms: pain, numbness of the limb, tingling, disorder of the peripheral nervous regulation of the vascular tone of the lymphangions, which in turn aggravates the course of lymphatic edema.
[0008] Lymphedema is caused by ineffective fluid removal by the lymphatic system, leading to fluid accumulation and subsequent swelling. This process contributes to tissue inflammation due to several factors: the accumulation of proteins and metabolic waste products, which stimulate inflammatory responses; mechanical tissue irritation due to persistent swelling; and an increased risk of infection due to lymphatic stagnation, which also contributes to inflammation. The prior art does not disclose the use of Mezaton for the treatment of lymphedema in humans, nor its use via lymphotropic administration.
[0014] The instructions for Neuromidin (ipidcarine), a cholinesterase inhibitor (anticholinesterase) drug used to treat peripheral nervous system disorders, are well-known. However, the instructions do not recommend use for lymphedema, nor does it indicate that the drug is administered lymphotropically.

[0024] 3. Reduction of fibrosis of the proliferating subcutaneous tissue, which increases the volume of the limb and creates unfavorable conditions for the drainage of edema fluid.
[0025] 4. Strengthening the work of lymphatic collectors to facilitate the drainage of fluid from the tissue.
[0026] 5. Reduction in the size of the swollen limb.
[0027] 6. Reduction of the severity of pain and other symptoms of neuropathy in lymphedema.

Claims

7. The method according to any of paragraphs 1, 6, wherein the injectable medicinal composition B, as a drug from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors, contains a drug with the active substance ipidacrine.
8. The method according to any of paragraphs 1, 6, wherein the injectable medicinal composition B as a drug from the anesthetic group contains a drug with the active substance lidocaine or procaine.

The method according to i.2, in which the injection medicinal composition B for the treatment of lymphedema, prepared ex tempore, contains a mixture of medicinal preparations that includes 1000 IU of a preparation from the enzyme group and up to 5 ml of an anesthetic, wherein the medicinal composition may contain a preparation with the active substance bovgiauloronidase azoximer as a preparation from the enzyme group, and the preparation from the anesthetic group may contain Lidocaine or procaine.

The method according to paragraph 1 or 2, in which, for the treatment of lymphedema of the upper extremities when administering medicinal composition A or B, a puncture of the interstitium of the lymphatic region LT 14 is performed by inserting a needle into the cellular space of the armpit on the side of the edema.
