Clamping device

Abstract

A clamping device is described with a support rail (1) which forms two opposing guide surfaces (2, 3), with a clamping head (4) provided on the side of a guide surface (2) which is screw-adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the rail and with a counter support (5) located on the clamping head side of the support rail (1) opposite the clamping head (4), which is adjustable along the support rail (1). To create simple design conditions, it is proposed that a sliding sleeve (8) for the counter support (5) is mounted on the support rail (1), which surrounds the support rail (1) at a distance from the guide surfaces (2, 3) and has a clamping cam (9, 10) in each of the spaces between the sliding sleeve (8) and the guide surfaces (2, 3), wherein of the two clamping cams (9, 10) arranged at an axial distance from each other, the clamping cam (9) that is further away from the clamping head (4) in the axial direction is provided on the side of the counter support (5).
