Abstract
The invention relates to a snow shovel (1) with a blade (2) and a handle (3), wherein the blade (2) is connected to the handle (3) via a pivot joint (16). The blade (2) has a leading edge (8), a concave or substantially concave curved working side (10), and a convex back side (11) opposite the working side (10), and the snow shovel (1) is designed such that the blade (2) can be fixed in at least two different angular positions relative to the handle (3) by means of the pivot joint (16).The angular positions include a scoop position, which allows snow (18) to be scooped onto the blade (2) over the leading edge (8) when the blade (2) is pushed forward with the leading edge (8) over a surface covered with snow (18), a pull position, which allows snow (18) to be pulled in front of the blade (2) when the blade (2) is pulled backward over the surface with the leading edge (8), and a push position, which allows snow (18) to be pushed in front of the blade (2) when the blade (2) is pushed forward over the surface with the leading edge (8).A shaft angle (δ), defined between a blade radius (20) extending from the pivot axis (17) of the pivot joint (16) through the midpoint of the leading edge (8) of the blade (2), and a shaft axis (7) on the rear side of the blade (2), is approximately 20° to 90° smaller in the push position than in the bucket position and approximately 20° to 90° larger in the pull position than in the bucket position. The pivot joint (16) has a detent (27) that allows it to be locked at different shaft angles (δ), with a first joint half (24) and a corresponding second joint half (25) each having corresponding detent elements in the form of protrusions (29) and / or depressions (30). A shaft extension (36, 53, 59, 72) is provided for extending the shaft (3).
