Carport (4) with a roof surface (4a) and at least one side wall (4b), wherein the roof surface (4a) is supported on at least one side by the side wall (4b), wherein the roof surface (4a) is supported at at least one further point, spaced away from the side wall (4b), in particular opposite it, by at least one support (4c) on the ground (20), characterized in that both the roof surface (4a) and an outer surface of the side wall (4b) are at least partially equipped for generating electricity by means of photovoltaics (5).
