Abstract

A transfer station (1, 1a..1c) for transferring goods (2) is specified, comprising a staging area (A) at a first position and a discharge area (B) at a second position. The transfer station (1, 1a..1c) also includes a robot (3a, 3b) with a robot base (4a, 4b) and a gripper (5a, 5b). The robot (3a, 3b), or rather its gripper (5a, 5b), picks up the goods (2) at the first position, holds them during a movement from the first position to the second position, and discharges them at the second position. The transfer station (1, 1a..1c) also includes a camera (6a..6c) that can be moved synchronously with the gripper (5a, 5b) to take an image (14, 14') of the goods (2), a control (7) for triggering the synchronously moving camera (6a..6c) during the movement of the goods (2) and an object recognition module (8) for recognizing the goods (2) in the recorded image (17).Furthermore, a picking system (17) and a method for operating such a transfer station (1, 1a..1c) are specified.
