Description

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims priority to, and is a continuation of, International Application No. PCT / CN2026 / 077607 filed February 6, 2026, which itself claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202520223632.8 filed February 11, 2025. The entire disclosures of each of the foregoing applications are incorporated herein by reference. TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of tennis training equipment, and specifically to a tennis ball machine. BACKGROUND

[0003] A tennis ball machine is equipment configured to help a tennis player in selftraining. The tennis ball machine can simulate an effect of a human hitting a tennis ball via automatic ball serving, so that the player can practice independently without partners. With the popularization and development of tennis, in addition to being used for training by professional athletes, the tennis ball machine is also widely available in scenarios such as training of an individual user or sports clubs.

[0004] Currently, most tennis ball machines primarily rely on manual parameter settings and manual operations and require operators to manually adjust parameters such as a speed, an angle, a position, and timing of ball serving. The operation is relatively complex and cumbersome. Although the tennis ball machines can meet a basic training need, due to a requirement for manual input, a beginner can use such a machine for training only if other professional users provide on-site guidance.

[0005] Moreover, a user often needs to engage in various types of training in a training process, the equipment needs to be frequently intervened and adjusted to adapt to different training requirements. This can inevitably disrupt the training rhythm, thereby easily leading to a lack of smoothness in the training process and affecting a user experience. SUMMARY

[0006] In order to overcome the defects in the prior art, the present disclosure provides a tennis ball machine, including:

[0007] a tennis ball machine main body, a ball feeding module, a ball serving module, a camera module, and a processor.

[0008] The ball feeding module is arranged on an upper side of the tennis ball machine main body.

[0009] The ball serving module is movably arranged inside the tennis ball machine main body and includes a ball serving end and a ball feeding end corresponding to the ball feeding module. A ball serving opening is formed in a position of the tennis ball machine main body corresponding to the ball serving end.

[0010] The camera module and the ball serving opening are arranged on the same side of the tennis ball machine main body.

[0011] The processor is arranged on the tennis ball machine main body. The processor is in signal connection to the camera module and is in driving connection to the ball feeding module and the ball serving module, to generate and transfer, based on image data obtained by the camera module, a first driving instruction for driving the ball feeding module to perform a ball feeding action and a second driving instruction for driving the ball serving module to perform a ball serving action.

[0012] Specifically, the ball feeding module includes a ball inlet corresponding to the ball serving end of the ball serving module. The ball inlet is communicated with an inner side of the tennis ball machine main body, to transfer a tennis ball to the ball serving module through the ball inlet based on the first driving instruction.

[0013] Further, the ball feeding module includes a turntable. The turntable is provided with a fixing opening for positioning the tennis ball. The fixing opening is communicated with the ball inlet. The turntable is connected to the processor, so that when the turntable rotates based on the first driving instruction to a position at which the fixing opening is communicated with the ball inlet, the tennis ball located at the fixing opening passes through the ball inlet.

[0014] Preferably, the ball feeding module includes a plurality of groups of folding baffle plates. The groups of folding baffle plates are foldably arranged above the tennis ball machine main body, to encircle, after being unfolded, a position above the tennis ball machine main body to form a ball compartment capable of accommodating a plurality of tennis balls.

[0015] Specifically, the ball serving module includes a bracket, a ball serving mechanism rotatably connected to the bracket, and a first driving member which is in driving connection to the ball serving mechanism. The first driving member is connected to the processor to drive, based on the second driving instruction, the ball serving mechanism to rotate relative to the bracket.

[0016] Further, the ball serving module further includes a fixed seat fixedly connected to the tennis ball machine main body, and the bracket is rotatably connected to the fixed seat.

[0017] The ball serving module further includes a second driving member connected to the bracket. The second driving member is connected to the processor to drive, based on the second driving instruction, the bracket to rotate relative to the fixed seat. Rotation of the ball serving mechanism relative to the bracket has a different rotation direction from rotation of the bracket relative to the fixed seat.

[0018] Preferably, the processor is arranged on the tennis ball machine main body in a detachable connection manner.

[0019] Further, a display unit is further arranged on one side of the tennis ball machine main body provided with the camera module, and the display unit is electrically connected to the processor.

[0020] Preferably, the tennis ball machine main body is provided with a handle.

[0021] Preferably, the tennis ball machine main body is provided with at least two strap openings, and a spacing distance between the strap openings is not less than a predetermined distance.

[0022] The strap openings are jointly connected to a length-adjustable strap. Any end of the strap is at least connected to one of the strap openings.

[0023] The present disclosure at least has the following beneficial effects:

[0024] According to the solution provided in the present disclosure, due to the combination of the processor with the camera module, the tennis ball machine can automatically obtain image data containing information such as a site and a user, analyze images, and perform corresponding driving adjustment, thereby automatically adjusting a speed, an angle, and a frequency of ball serving, simulating different ball serving and receiving situations, providing more personalized training content, and meeting actual needs of users. It helps enhancing a training effect and offers a more efficient, personalized, and safe solution for tennis training, and it is suitable for meeting needs of various different users.

[0025] Further, the ball inlet of the ball feeding module provided in the present disclosure implements positioning and transferring of a tennis ball by using the turntable, thereby ensuring that a tennis ball can be transferred to the ball serving module at a proper moment. This ensures precise positioning of the tennis ball. Due to the design of the folding baffle plates, the ball compartment can be compactly stored when not in use, to save the space. When unfolded for use, the ball compartment can accommodate a plurality of tennis balls, so that the volume of the ball compartment is increased, a demand of a user for frequent ball feeding is lowered, and the convenience of use is enhanced.

[0026] Both the ball serving mechanism and the bracket in the ball serving module can achieve rotation, thereby providing a large degree of freedom of rotation. This can precisely control the angle and direction of ball serving, so that the tennis ball machine can perform a more complex ball serving operation, thereby enhancing the diversity and accuracy of training.

[0027] Due to the detachable design of the processor, the tennis ball machine can be upgraded or replaced as needed, thereby enhancing the maintainability and expandability of the equipment, while reducing the maintenance costs. The display unit arranged based on the camera module provides a user with information feedback, thereby enhancing the interactivity between the tennis ball machine and a user. The design of the handle and the strap increases the portability of the tennis ball machine, so that a user can move and carry the tennis ball machine more conveniently. It ensures comfort and ease of use of the tennis ball machine and optimizes the user experience.

[0028] Thus, the present disclosure provides a tennis ball machine. The processor in the tennis ball machine provided in the solution cooperates with the camera module to dynamically generate the instructions based on real-time image data, thereby lowering a requirement for manual operation. Thus, the ball feeding module and the ball serving module are precisely driven, so that the tennis ball machine can automatically adjust parameters such as timing, a position, and an angle of ball serving; automatic control on the tennis ball machine is implemented; and the intelligence and interactivity of tennis training are greatly enhanced. [0054] The camera module 4 and the ball serving opening 11 are arranged on the same side of the tennis ball machine main body 1.

[0055] The processor 5 is arranged on the tennis ball machine main body 1. The processor 5 is in signal connection to the camera module 4 and is in driving connection to the ball feeding module 2 and the ball serving module 3, to generate and transfer, based on image data obtained by the camera module 4, a first driving instruction for driving the ball feeding module 2 to perform a ball feeding action and a second driving instruction for driving the ball serving module 3 to perform a ball serving action.

[0056] It should be noted that the camera module 4 can observe a surrounding environment of the tennis ball machine by obtaining the image data, and the processor 5 is a core of the tennis ball machine and is responsible for processing the image data obtained by the camera module 4, performing real-time analysis and calculation based on the image data, and inferring a tennis ball feeding action and a tennis ball serving action that need to be executed, thereby indicating when the ball feeding module 2 performs the ball feeding action, and indicating an activity of the ball serving module 3 inside the tennis ball machine and when the ball serving module performs the ball serving action. Through the cooperation between the camera module 4 and the processor 5, the tennis ball machine provided in this embodiment can achieve automatic control, automatically adjust the timing, position, and angle data of ball serving, and greatly enhance the intelligence and interactivity of tennis training.

[0057] In one specific embodiment, the image data obtained by the camera module 4 includes user image data, and the processor 5 can correspondingly generate the first driving instruction and the second driving instruction based on a sports image of a user obtained by the camera module 4 during exercise and an indication image obtained by the camera module 4 and when the user makes an action of adjusting a state of the tennis ball machine.

[0058] Preferably, the tennis ball machine main body 1 is detachably connected to the processor 5. As an intelligent device, the processor 5 is technically updated and upgraded quickly. The processor 5 in the tennis ball machine provided in this embodiment can be detachably connected to the tennis ball machine main body 1, making it convenient for a user to replace or upgrade the processor 5, thereby enhancing the intelligence of the equipment without replacing the entire tennis ball machine. The detachable design also makes it easier to repair the processor 5.

[0059] Further, different users also select different processors based on own needs. For example, tennis training for a beginner and a professional player clearly requires use of different levels of intelligent control. By allowing a user to select modules, a personalized user experience can be enhanced. In addition, based on this, a customized processor can be further provided for the user.

[0060] In addition, due to the design of detachable connection between the tennis ball machine main body 1 and the processor 5, during selling of the tennis ball machine provided in this embodiment, the processor 5 and the tennis ball machine can be sold as separate products, thereby reducing the production costs of the entire machine. A user can select whether to provide the processor 5 for the tennis ball machine according to an own need, so that the user can make an appropriate choice based on an own situation, and a freedom of choice is retained.

[0061] Preferably, the tennis ball machine main body 1 in the tennis ball machine provided in this embodiment is provided with a handle 12.

[0062] The tennis ball machine main body 1 is provided with at least two strap openings 13, and a spacing distance between the strap openings 13 is not less than a predetermined distance. The strap openings 13 are jointly connected to a length-adjustable strap 14, and any end of the strap 14 is at least connected to one strap opening 13.

[0063] Thus, a user can easily lift the tennis ball machine conveniently through the handle 12, to move or adjust the position of the tennis ball machine. It is suitable for adjusting the position of the tennis ball machine during use. By using the strap 14, it is convenient for the user to carry the tennis ball machine on the back for movement. It is suitable for carrying during long-distance transportation and enhances the overall convenience of the tennis ball machine.

[0064] Specifically, referring to FIG. 5 to FIG. 7, the ball feeding module 2 includes a ball inlet 21 corresponding to the ball serving end of the ball serving module 3. The ball inlet 21 is communicated with an inner side of the tennis ball machine main body 1, to transfer a tennis ball to the ball serving module 3 through the ball inlet 21 based on the first driving instruction.

[0065] In this embodiment, the ball feeding module 2 includes a turntable 22. The turntable 22 is provided with a fixing opening 23 for positioning the tennis ball. The fixing opening 23 can be communicated with the ball inlet 21. The turntable 22 is connected to the processor 5 through a driving member, so that when the driving member drives, based on the first driving instruction, the turntable 22 to rotate to a position at which the fixing opening 23 is communicated with the ball inlet 21, a tennis ball located at the fixing opening 23 passes through the ball inlet 21. It should be noted that widths of widest portions of the ball inlet 21 and the fixing opening 23 in any direction are not less than a diameter of a tennis ball, to ensure that the tennis ball can pass smoothly through the fixing opening 23 and the ball inlet 21 sequentially without being stuck by the fixing opening 23 or the ball inlet 21 due to a small diameter.

[0066] Preferably, the ball feeding module 2 includes a plurality of groups of folding baffle plates. The groups of folding baffle plates are foldably arranged above the tennis ball machine main body 1, to encircle, after being unfolded, a position above the tennis ball machine main body 1 to form a ball compartment capable of accommodating ae plurality of tennis balls, or to be folded and then arranged on the tennis ball machine main body 1 in a mutual overlapping manner. In this embodiment, the folding baffle plates 24 are movably connected to the tennis ball machine main body 1 through hinges 25.

[0067] In this embodiment, a contour of a portion of the tennis ball machine main body 1 connected to the folding baffle plates 24 is in a polygonal shape or a quasi-polygonal shape. Each edge of the polygonal shape is independently connected to one group of folding baffle plates. It should be noted that compared with a circular shape or another shape, the polygonal shape and the quasi-polygonal shape can organize and arrange a plurality of folding baffle plates more tightly, optimize the utilization rate of a space, and reduce unnecessary gaps. This helps to efficiently store and unfold the folding baffle plates, and ensures that a tennis ball will not be detached from the storage space when the folding baffle plates are unfolded.

[0068] By the above setting, when the folding baffle plate connected to each edge of the tennis ball machine main body 1 is unfolded, each group of folding baffle plates can form a ball compartment with a storage opening in a top around the tennis ball machine main body 1, so that tennis balls can be safely and neatly stored in the ball compartment, and non-uniform scattering or stacking of the tennis balls during storage can be avoided.

[0069] Preferably, a display unit electrically connected to the processor 5 is further arranged on one side of the tennis ball machine main body 1 provided with the camera module 4, to correspondingly adjust a display manner based on an instruction of the processor 5, thereby providing information feedback to a user. In this embodiment, the display unit includes light-emitting diodes (LEDs) 26. The LEDs 26 can be turned on or turned off, adjust the brightness, or change a lighting manner based on the instruction of the processor 5. In this embodiment, the LEDs 26 are arranged on the folding baffle plates 24 connected to the side of the tennis ball machine main body 1 provided with the camera module 4.

[0070] Specifically, referring to FIG. 8 to FIG. 9, the ball serving module 3 includes a bracket 31, a ball serving mechanism 32 rotatably connected to the bracket 31, and a first driving member which is in driving connection to the ball serving mechanism 32. [0071] Further, the ball serving module 3 further includes a fixed seat 34 fixedly connected to the tennis ball machine main body 1, and the bracket 31 is rotatably connected to the fixed seat 34.

[0072] The ball serving module 3 further includes a second driving member connected to the bracket 31. The second driving member is connected to the processor 5 to drive, based on the second driving instruction, the bracket 31 to rotate relative to the fixed seat 34.

[0073] Rotation of the ball serving mechanism 32 relative to the bracket 31 has a different rotation direction from rotation of the bracket 31 relative to the fixed seat 34. Preferably, the rotation direction of the ball serving mechanism 32 relative to the bracket 31 is perpendicular to the rotation direction of the bracket 31 relative to the fixed seat 34.

[0074] In this embodiment, the first driving member includes a first motor 33, and the second driving member includes a second motor 35. Both the first motor 33 and the second motor 35 are arranged on the bracket 31.

[0075] Specifically, the ball serving mechanism 32 includes a guide rail 321. Two ends of the guide rail 321 are respectively the ball feeding end and the ball serving end, respectively. The ball serving end is provided with two ball serving wheels 322. The two ball serving wheels 322 are respectively arranged on two sides of the guide rail 321 and a gap for allowing a tennis ball to pass through is provided between the two ball serving wheels 322. The two ball serving wheels 322 are independently connected to a motor driven by the processor 5, and the tennis ball can be pressed and accelerated under the high-speed rotation of the ball serving wheels 322. Based on the second driving instruction transmitted by the processor 5, the motor is driven to adjust rotating speeds of the two ball serving wheels 322. This can control parameters such as a ball speed and rotation of a tennis ball serving device during ball serving, thereby achieving various different ball serving effects. Finally, the tennis ball is ejected through the gap between the two ball serving wheels 322.

[0076] In summary, the present disclosure provides a tennis ball machine.

[0077] The foregoing descriptions are merely preferred embodiments of the present disclosure, but are not intended to limit present disclosure.
