Abstract
Methods and non-naturally occurring strains for the continuous production of single-cell protein (SCP) from gaseous substrates. Further, the gaseous substrate comprises CO2 and an energy source. The non-naturally occurring strains are capable of continuously growing autotrophically at up to about 40° C. SCP can be used as an ingredient in food or feed.
