Abstract

The invention relates to a three-dimensional decoration method for a substrate (11) in order to produce a covering part (10), comprising the steps of: – making a groove (12) in a covering face (110) of a substrate (11) made of a ceramic material; – depositing a decorative layer (14) of amorphous metal in the groove (12) and on the covering face (110); – ablation by laser machining of at least a part of the decorative layer (14) deposited on the covering face (110) so as to generate a decorative element (15) forming an overthickness in relation to said covering face (110), the laser machining being carried out by a femtosecond laser emitting a beam with a wavelength between 500 and 540 nm or between 1000 and 1080 nm.
