Method for preparing progesterone granules, obtained progesterone granules and injection thereof

Abstract

The present application discloses a method for preparing progesterone granules, especially crystals or powders, wherein the method comprises: step 1, dissolving progesterone in a solvent to provide a progesterone solution; step 2, pumping the progesterone solution into a high-speed sheared progesterone precipitation solvent at a predetermined speed to precipitate the progesterone; and step 3, separating the precipitate and freeze-drying it to obtain the progesterone granules; wherein the progesterone granules are progesterone crystals or progesterone powders. Micron-sized progesterone crystals or powders can be obtained by the method of the present invention, and the stability is good. The progesterone injection prepared by the method not only achieves a sustained release effect of at least 5 days, but also has good stability. The method of the present invention is simple to operate, low in cost, and easy to industrially scale up.
