[0016] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings described below, the same or corresponding components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and duplicate descriptions are omitted.

[0017] Figure 1 : This is a schematic cross-sectional view of the flavor absorber of the present embodiment. The flavor absorber 10 of the present embodiment is configured to generate an aerosol containing a flavor by heating an aerosol source and a flavor source contained in a pod 20 (equivalent to an example of a container). Specifically, a liquid aerosol source and a solid flavor source are contained in the pod 20 at a predetermined weight ratio. The weight ratio of the aerosol source to the flavor source is, for example, 3:1 to 20:1. In the present embodiment, a fluid containing a liquid and a solid is referred to as a slurry. Preferably, the slurry contains a liquid and a solid flavor source. As a liquid constituting the slurry, water can be used, for example. The liquid is preferably an aerosol source such as glycerin or propylene glycol. The weight ratio of the liquid to the solid constituting the slurry is, for example, 3:1 to 20:1 as described above, and preferably 5:1 to 15:1. In addition, the weight of the slurry contained in the pod 20 is, for example, 0.05g to 0.5g, and preferably 0.1g to 0.3g.

[0018] The cartridge 20 can be taken out from the flavor inhaler 10 and discarded after use. In addition, a new cartridge 20 can be used in the flavor inhaler 10. That is, the cartridge 20 is a cartridge used in the flavor inhaler 10.

[0019] like Figure 1 As shown, the aroma absorber 10 of this embodiment includes a housing 11, a battery 12, a control unit 13, an electromagnetic shielding member 14, an inductor 15, a mouthpiece 16, and a heat insulating material 30. The housing 11 accommodates the battery 12, the control unit 13, the electromagnetic shielding member 14, the inductor 15, and the heat insulating material 30. As shown in the figure, the mouthpiece 16, the tube 20, the inductor 15, the electromagnetic shielding member 14, the control unit 13, and the battery 12 are arranged along the length direction of the aroma absorber 10. In addition, the housing 11 can also be divided into two or more parts.

[0020] The battery 12 may be, for example, a rechargeable battery or a non-rechargeable battery. The battery 12 is electrically connected to the inductor 15 via the control unit 13. Thus, the battery 12 can supply power to the inductor 15 so as to appropriately heat the slurry contained in the drum 20.

[0021] The control unit 13 includes, for example, a microprocessor, etc., and can control the power supply from the battery 12 to the inductor 15. Thus, the control unit 13 can control the heating of the slurry by the inductor 15. In the present embodiment, the electromagnetic shielding member 14 is arranged between the inductor 15 and the control unit 13 in the length direction of the shell 11. Thus, the electromagnetic shielding member 14 can suppress the electromagnetic waves generated by the inductor 15 from reaching the control unit 13. In the present embodiment, the electromagnetic shielding member 14 can be composed of, for example, a ferrite-based metal material. In addition, the shape of the electromagnetic shielding member 14 is not particularly limited, but is preferably a disk shape corresponding to the shape of the inductor 15. As shown in FIG. Figure 1 As shown, the width or diameter of the electromagnetic shield 14 in the short-side direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is preferably larger than the maximum width of the inductor 15. This can more reliably suppress the electromagnetic waves from the inductor 15 from reaching the control unit 13.

[0022] The housing 11 has a chamber 11a for accommodating the tube 20 at the end of the mouthpiece side (mouthpiece 16 side). The tube 20 has a substantially cylindrical side wall 22 and a bottom wall 24 that closes the end of the side wall 22. The inductor 15 is closer to the battery 12 side than the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 accommodated in the chamber 11a of the housing 11, and is arranged opposite to the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20. In the present embodiment, at least the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 is formed by a conductor. Specifically, the side wall 22 and the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 are preferably formed by SUS (stainless steel). Since SUS has lower thermal conductivity than aluminum, when the bottom wall 24 is heated, the heat of the bottom wall 24 is difficult to be transferred to the side wall 22, and can be efficiently conducted to the slurry in the tube 20. Thus, the bottom wall 24 can function as a receptor heated by the inductor 15. Therefore, the surface (outer side) of the bottom wall 24 opposite to the inductor 15 is preferably flat.

[0023] The inductor 15 is configured to inductively heat the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20. As shown in the figure, the inductor 15 is preferably formed as a whole in a roughly plate-like shape. In addition, in the present embodiment, the inductor 15 is entirely arranged in an area narrower than the area of the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20. That is, when viewed from the length direction, the inductor 15 is arranged at a position overlapping with the bottom wall 24 and located on the inner side than the edge dividing the bottom wall 24. The inductor 15 is arranged roughly parallel to the bottom wall 24.

[0024] As in the present embodiment, if the inductor 15 and the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 are arranged oppositely, then compared with the situation that the inductor 15 is arranged around the side wall 22 of the tube 20, it is difficult to generate induced current outside the fragrance absorber 10. Therefore, even if there are other electronic devices around the fragrance absorber 10, the electronic device is also difficult to be affected by the induced current caused by the inductor 15. And, according to the present embodiment, because the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 is heated, the temperature on the top of the tube 20 is difficult to rise. Therefore, when the sealing component 28 is set at the opening of the tube 20 as described later, the dissolving of the adhesive bonding the tube 20 with the sealing component 28 can be suppressed.

[0025] In addition, when the slurry contained in the tube 20 is heated by a planar heating element (thin film heater) using stainless steel as a heating resistor, the heat generated by the planar heating element is conducted to the slurry via the tube 20 that contains the slurry. That is, the heat generated in the planar heating element is conducted to the tube 20 and the slurry, so the heat conduction loss is relatively large. In contrast, in the present embodiment, as described above, an IH (induction heating) method is adopted as a method for heating the slurry. According to the IH method, the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20 generates heat by itself, and the heat of the bottom wall 24 is conducted to the slurry. Therefore, the heat generated in the bottom wall 24 is directly conducted to the slurry, so compared with the case of heating the slurry by a planar heating element, the loss during heat conduction can be reduced.

[0026] If the bottom wall 24 is heated by the induction coil 15 and the slurry in the tube 20 is atomized, there is a hidden danger that the solid (flavor source) contained in the slurry reaches the mouthpiece 16 from the tube 20. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the porous structure 26 is provided in the tube 20 in a manner that closes at least a portion of the opening of the side wall 22. The porous structure 26 is, for example, a filter tip or a metal mesh. In addition, any porous structure that allows gas and aerosol to pass can be adopted. The porous structure 26 is preferably a filter tip. As the porous structure 26, for example, an acetate filter tip can be used. The filter tip can allow gas and aerosol to pass, and inhibits liquid from passing. Therefore, as described later, after the sealing component 28 of the tube 20 is destroyed, the slurry can be inhibited from leaking to the outside of the tube 20. That is, in the present embodiment, the porous structure 26 is configured to allow the aerosol generated inside the cylinder 20 to flow out of the cylinder 20 when the slurry inside the cylinder 20 is atomized, and to prevent the slurry inside the cylinder 20 from flowing out.

[0027] When the side wall 22 of the cylinder 20 is heated or a planar heating element or a coil heater is used, the heat is easily diffused to the entire slurry. As a result, there is a risk that the heat is transferred to the porous structure 26, causing a decrease in atomization efficiency or dissolution of the porous structure 26. In contrast, in the present embodiment, the inductor coil 15 is arranged opposite to the bottom wall 24, and the bottom wall 24 is inductively heated, so that the heat of the bottom wall 24 is difficult to be transferred to the porous structure 26, which can suppress the decrease in atomization efficiency or the dissolution of the porous structure 26.

[0028] As shown in the figure, it is preferred that at least a portion of the surface of the porous structure 26 opposite to the bottom wall of the tube 20 has a convex surface 26a formed as a convex shape toward the bottom wall 24 of the tube 20. If the bottom wall 24 is heated by induction, a temperature difference is generated between the slurry near the bottom wall 24 in the tube 20 and the slurry near the porous structure 26 in the tube 20, and convection is generated in the slurry. Because the porous structure 26 has a convex surface 26a, the slurry convecting from the bottom to the top of the tube 20 contacts the convex surface 26a and is guided to the left and right directions. As a result, the convection of the slurry is promoted. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, even if the slurry amount decreases as the atomization of the slurry proceeds, the convection of the slurry can be utilized to make the temperature of the entire slurry uniform. Thus, the ratio of the aerosol amount generated from the aerosol source to the aerosol amount generated from the fragrance source can be maintained, and as a result, the taste of the suction can be made constant.

[0029] As shown in the figure, the mouthpiece 16 is connected to one end of the housing 11 in a manner that closes the chamber 11a of the housing 11. The mouthpiece 16 has an air inlet flow path 16a that connects the outside of the mouthpiece 16 with the chamber 11a of the housing 11, and an air outlet flow path 16b that connects the chamber 11a with the user's mouth. When the user inhales air from the air outlet flow path 16b, the air entering the chamber 11a from the air inlet flow path 16a passes through the porous structure 26 to obtain the aerosol generated from the cartridge 20, and reaches the user's mouth.

[0030] In addition, the mouthpiece 16 may also be provided with an air flow path 16c instead of the air inlet flow path 16a and the air outlet flow path 16b. The air flow path 16c is connected to the internal space of the mouthpiece 16, which is not shown. In this case, the aerosol generated from the tube 20 moves to the internal space of the mouthpiece 16, and the external air can reach the user's mouth while obtaining the aerosol through the air flow path 16c. In addition, the air flow path 16c may also be a trident-shaped flow path extending from the mouthpiece 16 to the chamber 11a of the shell 11 and extending to the side of the mouthpiece 16. In addition, the air inlet portion of the air flow path 16c may also be provided in the connection area between the mouthpiece 16 and the shell 11. Specifically, for example, a groove may be provided in the mouthpiece 16, and the shell 11 and the mouthpiece 16 may be connected, thereby forming the air inlet portion of the air flow path 16c. Thus, the air flowing in from the air inlet portion of the air flow path 16c can pass through the surface of the tube 20, obtain the aerosol generated from the tube 20 and flow out from the mouthpiece 16.

[0031] The heat insulating material 30 is arranged in the housing 11 in such a manner as to at least partially surround the side wall 22 of the tube 20 accommodated in the chamber 11a of the housing 11. The heat insulating material 30 of the present embodiment has a first tube 30a, a second tube 30b, an upper end 30c, and a lower end 30d. The second tube 30b is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the first tube 30a. The upper end 30c connects the upper end of the first tube 30a with the upper end of the second tube 30b. The lower end 30d connects the lower end of the first tube 30a with the lower end of the second tube 30b. The first tube 30a, the second tube 30b, the upper end 30c, and the lower end 30d divide the internal space 31 enclosed by the heat insulating material 30. For example, the internal space 31 can be set to a vacuum state, whereby the heat insulating material 30 functions as a vacuum heat insulating material. In addition, for example, the internal space 31 can also be filled with a heat insulating material such as aerogel.

[0032] At least the first tube 30a and the second tube 30b of the heat insulating material 30 are preferably formed of SUS. Thus, the electromagnetic waves generated from the inductor 15 can be absorbed by the first tube 30a or the second tube 30b. In addition, in the present embodiment, the entire heat insulating material 30 is made of SUS. In addition, the first tube 30a and the second tube 30b of the heat insulating material 30 are preferably configured to at least partially surround the inductor 15. Thus, the electromagnetic waves from the inductor 15 toward the outside of the shell can be further absorbed by the first tube 30a or the second tube 30b. Therefore, the heat insulating material 30 preferably surrounds the sides of the cylinder 20 and the inductor 15 as a whole. In other words, the length of the heat insulating material 30 in the device length direction is longer than the length in the length direction from the upper end to the lower end of the area where the cylinder 20 and the inductor 15 are configured.

[0033] Furthermore, the flavor inhaler 10 may include a heat dissipation member 34 that contacts the side wall 22 of the tube 20 accommodated in the chamber 11a of the housing 11. Figure 1 In the example shown, the heat dissipation component 34 is a heat sink extending in the length direction and provided on the inner wall of the shell 11 dividing the chamber 11a. The heat dissipation component 34 is preferably in contact with the vicinity of the upper end of the side wall 22 of the cylinder 20 (near the porous structure 26). Thus, the temperature rise near the upper end of the cylinder 20 is suppressed, the dissolution of the porous structure 26 is suppressed, and when the sealing component 28 is provided at the opening of the cylinder 20 as described later, the dissolution of the adhesive bonding the cylinder 20 to the sealing component 28 can be suppressed. In addition, the shape of the heat dissipation component 34 can be any shape as long as it contacts the side wall 22 of the cylinder 20, for example, it can also be an annular heat sink extending in the circumferential direction of the inner wall of the shell 11 dividing the chamber 11a. The heat dissipation component 34 is preferably made of metal.

[0034] In addition, in the present embodiment, the heat dissipation member 34 is provided in the housing 11 , but instead of this, the heat dissipation member may be provided in the cylinder 20 . Figure 2 This is a plan view showing an example of a tube 20 having a heat dissipation member on the side wall 22 . Figure 3 FIG. 2 is a side view showing another example of a tube 20 having a heat dissipation member on the side wall 22. Figure 2 In the example shown, the barrel 20 has an axial direction ( Figure 1 Four heat sink components 27 extending in the vertical direction (in the middle) in the form of heat sinks. Figure 3 In the example shown, the cylinder 20 has an annular heat sink 27 extending in the circumferential direction of the side wall 22. Figure 2 as well as Figure 3 When the heat dissipation member 27 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the side wall 22 as shown in FIG. 1 , the tube 20 is designed so that when the tube 20 is accommodated in the chamber 11a, the heat dissipation member 27 provided on the side wall 22 of the tube 20 contacts the inner wall of the housing 11 that divides the chamber 11a. Figure 2 As shown, when the cylinder 20 has a heat sink-shaped heat dissipation member 27 extending in the axial direction of the side wall 22, the heat dissipation member 27 can be guided by providing a groove corresponding to the housing 11. As a result, the cylinder 20 and the housing 11 can be accurately positioned, and the stability of the atomization action can be improved. In addition, Figure 2 as well as Figure 3 The heat sink 27 shown is preferably constructed of metal.

[0035] Since the cartridge 20 of this embodiment contains the fluid slurry, in order to prevent the slurry from leaking out when the cartridge 20 is stored, Figure 2As shown, it is preferred that the cartridge 20 has a sealing member 28 that seals the opening of the side wall 22. Specifically, the sealing member 28 is bonded to the end of the side wall 22 where the porous structure 26 is provided, for example, using a resin adhesive, thereby sealing the opening of the cartridge 20. Figure 2 In the illustrated example, the entire sealing member 28 is formed of a metal foil 28 a such as aluminum foil.

[0036] Figure 4 Yes means Figure 2 The sealing member 28 of the cylinder 20 shown in FIG. Figure 2 When the sealing member 28 of the metal foil 28a is provided on the upper surface of the cylinder 20 as shown in FIG. 1 , the sealing member 28 needs to be broken when the cylinder 20 is used. Figure 1 The aroma absorber 10 shown is used Figure 2 In the case of the cartridge 20 shown, a protrusion (not shown) is provided on the mouthpiece 16, and the mouthpiece 16 is engaged with the housing 11, so that a part of the sealing member 28 is broken by the protrusion.

[0037] Figure 5 It is a plan view showing another example of the cartridge 20 . Figure 6 It is a plan view showing still another example of the cartridge 20 . Figure 5 In the illustrated cartridge 20 , a substantially central portion of the sealing member 28 is formed of a film 28 b , and the other portion is formed of a metal foil 28 a such as an aluminum foil. Figure 6 The sealing member 28 of the cartridge 20 shown is entirely formed of a film 28b. Figure 5 as well as Figure 6 The film 28b shown is heated by the heat transferred to the side wall 22 via the bottom wall 24 of the cylinder 20 inductively heated by the inductive coil 15, and at least a portion of the film 28b is destroyed. Figure 5 as well as Figure 6 In the case where the film 28b shown is a material that is dissolved by heating to form droplets, there is a risk that the dissolved film will fall into the slurry and have a negative impact on the taste, so it is not preferred. Figure 5 as well as Figure 6 The film 28b shown is a heat shrinkable film, which can be formed of materials such as PP (polypropylene), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), gelatin, or polysaccharides. In addition, the film 28b preferably shrinks from the center portion of the sealing member 28 toward the periphery. Therefore, for example, the film thickness of the central portion of the film 28b is preferably thinner than the film thickness of the periphery. In addition, for Figure 1 The barrel 20 shown can also have Figure 2 , Figure 4 - Figure 6 The sealing member 28 is shown.

[0038] In addition, in the present embodiment, the situation that tube 20 and mouthpiece 16 are different parts is illustrated. But, as mentioned above, when film 28b is used as sealing member 28, film 28b is destroyed by the heat of tube 20.Therefore, in this case, it is not necessary to destroy sealing member 28 with mouthpiece 16, so tube 20 and mouthpiece 16 can also be an integral part.In addition, sealing member 28 can also be extended to the side of porous structure 26 and bonded with the side of porous structure 26.In this case, due to the heat from the bottom wall 24 heated by induction coil 15, the bonding part dissolves, and can become the flow path of the side of porous structure 26 of the air from the outside of fragrance inhaler 10.
