A method for fixing a connecting rod in a housing during the assembly of a marine low-speed diesel engine

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of assembly technology for marine low-speed diesel engines, and particularly to a special method for fixing connecting rods within the engine frame during the assembly process of a marine low-speed diesel engine. The method employs an assembly frame for fixing the connecting rods within the engine frame. The method is as follows: S1, the diesel engine housing is slid into the placement slot, and then the connecting rod and lifting plate are placed inside the diesel engine housing. This invention first fixes the connecting rod and lifting plate with a lifting wire rope, and then tightens the fixing wire rope with an adjustable tension buckle, thereby fixing the position of the connecting rod and lifting plate and preventing displacement of the connecting rod in the lateral direction (fuel side to exhaust side). This ensures safety during production, improves installation efficiency, avoids interference between parts during engine assembly, and facilitates the lifting operation for the on-site transfer of important main engine components during engine assembly.
