A fuel cell system water separator and a water separation method thereof

Abstract

The application discloses a fuel cell system water segregator and a water segregating method thereof. The system comprises a water segregator, a water storage cavity is arranged at the bottom of the water segregator, a baffle cavity and a filter cavity which are communicated with each other are arranged side by side above the water storage cavity, and a normally open valve is arranged at the top of the baffle cavity. The method comprises the following steps: when the fuel cell system is in a small load state, the normally open valve is opened, and gas-water mixture enters the water segregator and is separated in the baffle cavity; when the fuel cell system is in a medium load state, the normally open valve is closed, and the gas-water mixture enters the water segregator and is separated in the baffle cavity and the filter cavity in sequence. The application effectively solves the problems that the existing water segregator has large resistance and insufficient backflow when the fuel cell stack is in a small load state, and the gas-water mixture is not uniformly separated and part of liquid water enters the fuel cell stack when the fuel cell stack is in a medium load state.
