Abstract

This invention provides a printing consumable and a chip. The printing consumable includes a housing and an electrical connection assembly interconnected with the housing. The electrical connection assembly includes a chip, which includes a substrate and a plurality of terminals disposed on the substrate. The plurality of terminals include at least one auxiliary contact terminal and a plurality of direct contact terminals. At least one of the housing and the electrical connection assembly is provided with a guiding component configured to abut against at least one of the contact pins, causing the at least one contact pin to deform and make corresponding contact with the auxiliary contact terminal. The contact portion of at least one auxiliary contact terminal and the contact portion of at least one of the other terminals are projected onto a first plane in a third direction, wherein the first plane is a plane perpendicular to the first direction. This invention solves the technical problem that unstable electrical contact is easily caused by the miniaturization of chips.
