A machine tool cutting torque monitoring method based on a bench dynamometer
By synchronously monitoring the tool position and the force of the benchtop force gauge sensor, and utilizing the force-torque conversion relationship, the problem that the benchtop force gauge cannot accurately monitor the cutting torque in the machine tool coordinate system is solved, realizing accurate monitoring of three-dimensional cutting torque and real-time feedback of machining status.

Abstract
A machine tool cutting torque monitoring method based on a desktop dynamometer is characterized by synchronously monitoring the real-time position of a tool and three-directional forces borne by each sensor of the desktop dynamometer, calculating the three-directional torques borne by each sensor and the resultant torque thereof according to the positional relationship between the tool and the sensor and the force-torque conversion relationship, multiplying the resultant torque by a calibrated torque correction coefficient, and obtaining the machine tool cutting torque. The present application expands the three-directional cutting torque measurement function on the basis of the original three-directional cutting force measurement function of the desktop dynamometer by introducing the real-time position information of the tool.
