Abstract

This application discloses a license plate recognition control method, device, equipment, and storage medium, belonging to the field of vehicle technology. The method first recognizes a first image captured by a first camera. If the barrier gate is detected to be in a lowered state, an activation interface is displayed, including activation options for activating the license plate recognition auxiliary function. If the license plate recognition auxiliary function is activated based on the activation options, the position and direction of a second camera are determined. Based on the position and direction of the second camera, the vehicle is controlled to travel to a target position where the second camera can recognize the license plate. Thus, the second camera can recognize the license plate. Therefore, this method, when the barrier gate is detected, can control the vehicle to a suitable position where the barrier gate camera can recognize the license plate, eliminating the need for the user to adjust the vehicle's parking position, saving time, and improving traffic efficiency.
