Display device and driving method thereof

Abstract

The present application provides a display device and a driving method thereof, wherein the display device includes a plurality of pixel units, each pixel unit including a light-emitting device and a driving circuit. The driving circuit adds a capacitor on the basis of the bootstrap capacitor, and controls the charging and discharging of the capacitor through a thin-film transistor switch, so that the voltage of the key control node is not affected by the potential of the ramp signal of the next frame, so that each row of pixels can completely compare the data signal and the ramp signal within one frame, thereby improving the display accuracy. The present application adopts a global ramp signal control scheme, simplifies the circuit structure, reduces the number of signal lines, and is conducive to the realization of a narrow frame design. The driving method realizes precise control of the pixel light-emitting time by precisely controlling the signal state of each time period, expands the duty cycle range (5%~99%), and can adapt to different display scenarios.
