Abstract

A power supply input circuit capable of limiting an excessive inrush current generated when a DC power supply is turned on and a smoothing capacitor is charged, the power supply input circuit being provided with: an EMC filter circuit (7) having a smoothing capacitor (12); a power switching element (Q2) on the rear stage side; a switching circuit (23) for turning on / off the power switching element (Q2); a post-stage inrush current limiting circuit (9) that limits the inrush current by adjusting the voltage of the control electrode of the power switching element (Q2); a front-stage-side power switching element (Q4) that turns on / off a conduction path between the EMC filter circuit (7) and the battery (2); and a preceding stage-side inrush current limiting circuit (10) that limits the inrush current when the battery (2) is turned on by adjusting the voltage of the gate of the power switching element (Q4).
