Seat control apparatus and method

Abstract

A seat control apparatus includes: an input device; a plurality of driving devices; a memory storing one or more instructions; and a controller connected to the input device, the plurality of driving devices, and the memory. The controller is configured to identify a current position of the plurality of driving devices and a target position corresponding to a designated input with respect to seat position control received through the input device. The controller is further configured to predict whether interference will occur during controlling the plurality of driving devices from the current position to the target position. The controller is further configured to set an operation order of the plurality of driving devices based on the prediction result and a priority of the plurality of driving devices. The controller is further configured to sequentially control the plurality of driving devices based on the operation order.
