Description
[0001] Divisional application
[0002] This application is a divisional application of the patent with an application date of April 25, 2021, a patent application number of 202110448288.9, and an invention title of Double-Layer Game Coin Tray, Game Coin Tray, and Game Management System.
[0003] Cross-reference to related applications
[0004] In this application, the benefit of the patent application No. 2020-78604 filed in Japan on April 27, 2020 is claimed, and the content of this application is incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0005] The present invention relates to a double-layer game coin tray, a game coin tray, and a game management system for storing game coins. Background Art
[0006] In a casino, games are played using game coins. Players participate in games by placing game coins. A player who wins the game receives a repayment of game coins from the dealer based on the game result and the placed amount, and a player who loses the game has the placed game coins recovered by the dealer.
[0007] On the gaming table where the game is played, there is a game coin tray for storing the game coins held by the dealer. The game coins held by the dealer are the game coins recovered from the losing players and are used to repay the winning players.
[0008] In a casino, non-replaceable game coins that can only be used for placement can be used (however, in the case of winning the game, a repayment of replaceable game coins can be obtained). Since non-replaceable game coins have the limitation of not being exchangeable, players are given a discount when purchasing. For example, the discount is points that can be used in a hotel or a purchase at an exchange rate higher than the equivalent exchange. Due to these properties, non-replaceable game coins are also called promotional codes.
[0009] In addition, among the game coins, there are round-shaped game coins and rectangular plate-shaped game coins. The rectangular plate-shaped game coins are sometimes also called ornament game coins (hereinafter, the rectangular plate-shaped game coins will be referred to as "ornament game coins"). Generally, round-shaped game coins (hereinafter, referred to as "round game coins") are relatively low-denomination game coins (for example, 5,000 points or less), and rectangular plate-shaped game coins are high-denomination game coins (for example, 10,000 points or more).
[0010] In the game, round game coins and ornament game coins are used in combination. Therefore, the game coin tray needs to be able to store both round game coins and ornament game coins with different shapes from each other.
[0011] In addition, the game coins are internally provided with RFID tags, which store their amounts, attributes, identification information, and the like. The information of the RFID tags in the game coins is read by an RFID reader to perform various game managements (for example, refer to Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2019-5565). Summary of the Invention

[0059] Hereinafter, the game coin of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The constituent elements of the following embodiments include those that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art or those that are substantially the same.
[0060] Figure 1 View showing the structure of a game management system including a game coin tray according to an embodiment of the present invention. The game management system 100 of the present embodiment includes: a game table 1 including a placement area; a card shoe 2 placed on the game table 1; a game coin tray 3 assembled on the game table 1; a camera 4 that at least photographs the placement area; and a management control device 5 connected to the card shoe 2, the game coin tray 3, and the camera 4.
[0061] The game table 1 of the present embodiment is a table for playing a card game. In this card game, the dealer operates the cards. The game table 1 of the present embodiment is particularly a table for playing a certain card game. The game table 1 has: a placement area 11 for placing the game coins placed by the players; and a card configuration area 12 for configuring the game cards (hereinafter simply referred to as "cards") drawn by the dealer from the card shoe 2. The placement areas 11 are respectively provided at a plurality of player positions provided on the game table 1.
[0062] Figure 2 View showing an example of the back side of a game card according to an embodiment of the present invention. The game card (hereinafter simply referred to as "card") 6 is a rectangle including a long side and a short side, with a pattern applied to the front (front), and the face value and suit are marked on the back. A code 61 that can be visualized by irradiating ultraviolet light is attached to the edge of the short side of the back. The code 61 represents the face value and suit of the card.
[0063] The game coins used in the present embodiment include round game coins and ornament game coins.
[0064] Figure 3This is a diagram showing an example of a circular game coin representing an embodiment of the present invention. The circular game coin 7 has a disc shape, and numbers indicating its value are marked on both planes. In this embodiment, the circular game coins 7 all have the same size regardless of their values. The circular game coin 7 is internally provided with an RFID tag 71. The RFID tag 71 stores the attributes of the game coin (replaceable game coin or non-replaceable game coin), the value of the game coin, and the identification information of the game coin. It should be noted that the RFID tag 71 can also store rewritable historical record information of the holder (player ID, dealer ID, counter ID, etc.). It should be noted that one circular game coin 7 can be internally provided with multiple RFID tags 71.
[0065] On the side of the circular game coin 7, a colored band is attached at the center in the thickness direction, thereby forming a stripe pattern of white - colored - white in the thickness direction. The color of the band on the side corresponds to the value of the circular game coin 7. Thus, just by observing the side of the circular game coin 7, the value of the circular game coin 7 can be known according to the color of the band. In particular, when the circular game coins 7 are stacked and the numbers marked on the planes are not visible, the values of these stacked circular game coins 7 can also be known according to the colors of the bands on their sides. It should be noted that information other than the value can also be represented by a pattern on the side of the circular game coin 7. Or, a code indicating the value and other information can also be marked on the side of the circular game coin 7.
[0066] Figure 4 This is a diagram showing an example of an inlay game coin representing an embodiment of the present invention. The inlay game coin 8 has a rectangular plate shape or other shape larger than the circular game coin 7. In Figure 4 the example, the inlay game coin 8 is in the shape of a rectangular plate. The inlay game coin 8 is also internally provided with an RFID tag 81. The RFID tag 81 stores the attributes of the inlay game coin (replaceable game coin or non-replaceable game coin), the value of the inlay game coin, and the identification information of the inlay game coin. The RFID tag 81 can also store rewritable historical record information of the holder. It should be noted that one inlay game coin 8 can be internally provided with multiple RFID tags 81.
[0067] Similar to the circular game coin 7, a band with a different color according to its value is also attached to the side of the inlay game coin 8, thereby forming a stripe pattern of white - colored - white in the thickness direction, and the value of the inlay game coin 8 can be known based on the pattern on the side.
[0068] Return to Figure 1In this case, inside the placement area 11 of the game table 1, a tabletop game coin reader 13 is provided as a tabletop game coin determination device. The tabletop game coin reader 13 is used to read the RFID tags 71 and 81 respectively built into the circular game coin 7 and the decorative plate game coin 8. The tabletop game coin reader 13 is equipped with antennas provided for each placement area 11. Thus, the tabletop game coin reader 13 can read the RFID tags 71 and 81 for each placement area 11 respectively.
[0069] The tabletop game coin reader 13 can read the RFID tags 71 and 81 of multiple game coins placed in the corresponding placement area 11 together. As described above, the RFID tags 71 and 81 store the amount of the game coin. Therefore, by reading the RFID tags 71 and 81 with the tabletop game coin reader 11, the total amount of the game coins placed in each placement area 11, that is, the placement amount of each placement area 11, can be known. The tabletop game coin reader 13 sends the information read from the RFID tags 71 and 81 of the game coins placed in each placement area 11 to the management control device 5.
[0070] The card shoe 2 stores multiple shuffled decks of cards 6. The dealer can draw the cards 6 one by one from the card shoe 2. The card shoe 2 is equipped with a code reading device 21 that reads the code 61 marked on the back of the card 6 at least when the dealer draws the card 6.
[0071] In a certain card game, the game result (that is, the win-loss result indicating which player who placed in which placement area won the game) is determined only based on the face values of multiple cards drawn by the dealer from the card shoe 2 in sequence. Thus, the card shoe 2 can determine the game result by reading the codes of the drawn cards. The game result (the winner) is any one of the player, the banker, and a tie. On this basis, there are also player pairs, banker pairs, and other special winners set by the casino itself. A payout rate corresponding to the appearance probability is set for each winner.
[0072] On the game table 1, placement areas 11 corresponding to the above game results (winners) are provided according to each player position. That is, on the game table 1, placement areas of the player area 11p, the banker area 11b, and the tie area 11t are provided according to each player position, and a placement area 11 corresponding to the special winner is provided as the side placement area 11s.
[0073] The card shoe 2 stores at least the face value and order read from the drawn cards in each game and determines the game result. The card shoe 2 includes a monitor 21, a lamp group 22 composed of a plurality of lamps of different colors, and an operation button group 23 composed of a plurality of buttons. The card shoe 2 displays the game result on the monitor 21 by the dealer operating the operation button group 23. The card shoe 2 lights lamps of different colors corresponding to the end or start of the game. The card shoe 2 sends the information of the face value (and suit) of the read card 6 to the management control device 5.
[0074] The game coin tray 3 is a double-layer game coin tray having an upper game coin storage section 31 and a lower game coin storage section 32. The upper game coin storage section 31 has a circular game coin storage section 31a for storing circular game coins 7 and a decorative coin storage section 31b for storing decorative coins 8. The lower game coin storage section 32 has a circular game coin storage section 32a for storing circular game coins 7 and a decorative coin storage section 32b for storing decorative coins 8. The upper game coin storage section 31 also has a recycled game coin storage section 31c for temporarily storing the circular game coins 7 recycled from the placement area 11.
[0075] The game coin tray 3 is provided with a tray game coin reader 33 for reading the RFID tags 71 of the circular game coins 7 and the RFID tags 81 of the decorative coins 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 and the lower game coin storage section 32. The tray game coin reader 33 sends the information read from the RFID tags 71, 81 to the management control device 5.
[0076] The camera 4 is provided on a rod fixed to the game table 1 to photograph the placement area 11 of the game table 1 from an oblique upper direction. The camera 4 continuously photographs and generates sequential image data. The image data generated by the camera 4 is sent to the management control device 5.
[0077] The management control device 5 is a computer, and the processor performs operations according to a computer program to perform various information processes described below. That is, in the present embodiment, the operations and processes of the management control device 5 described below are features of the computer program. Each function of the management control device 5 described below can be implemented by independent computer programs respectively, or can be implemented as program modules in one computer program.
[0078] The management control device 5 obtains the information of the RFID tags 71, 81 read by the tabletop game coin reader 13 from the tabletop game coin reader 13, obtains the information of at least the face value of the cards 6 sequentially drawn from the card shoe 2 from the card shoe 2, obtains the information of the RFID tags 71, 81 read by the game coin tray reader 33 from the game coin tray 3, and obtains the image data generated by the camera 4 from the camera 4. The management control device 5 determines the placement amount of each placement area 11 based on the information of the RFID tags 71, 81 from the tabletop game coin reader 13, and determines the game result based on the information of the face values of the cards 6 obtained sequentially. It should be noted that the game result can also be determined by the card shoe 2 and obtained by the management control device 5.
[0079] The management control device 5 determines the placement status based on the information obtained from the tabletop game coin reader 13, that is, determines how many game coins are placed in each placement area 11 of each player position. In addition, the management control device 5 performs image recognition on the image data obtained from the camera 4 to recognize the round game coins 7 and the decorative game coins 8 shown in the image data, and recognizes the placement areas 11 where these game coins are placed. That is, the management control device 5 also determines the placement status by performing image recognition on the image data, that is, determines how many game coins are placed in which placement area 11 of which player position.
[0080] Even when the round game coins 7 and the decorative game coins 8 are stacked and placed, the management control device 5 can recognize each game coin separately. Specifically, the management control device 5 separately detects the stacks of the round game coins 7 and the stacks of the decorative game coins 8, detects the center lines on the sides from the images of each stack, and determines the amount of the game coin according to the color of the center line.
[0081] The management control device 5 compares the placement status determined according to the tabletop game coin reader 13 and the RFID tags 71, 81 with the placement status determined by performing image recognition on the image data of the camera 4 to determine whether there are improper game coins without built-in RFID tags 71, 81.
[0082] The management control device 5 determines the attributes of each game coin stored in the game coin tray 3 based on the information of the RFID tags 71, 81 obtained from the game coin tray reader 33, calculates the total amount of each attribute of all the game coins stored in the game coin tray 3, the total amount of the round game coins 7, the total amount of the decorative game coins 8, and the total amount of all the game coins stored in the game coin tray 3.
[0083] The management control device 5 determines the player positions where the game coins placed should be retrieved and the retrieval amounts thereof, as well as the player positions where repayment should be made and the repayment amounts thereof, based on the game result and the placement status, in accordance with the rules of a certain card game. For the placements where the game is lost, the placement amounts are retrieved, and for the placements where the game is won, repayment of an amount based on the placement amount is received according to a preset reward rule (repayment rate).
[0084] Before performing the above settlement (i.e., retrieval and repayment) of the game coins, the management control device 5 obtains the total amount of the game coins actually stored in the game coin tray 3 (the actual total amount before settlement) based on the information from the game coin tray 3. The management control device 5 adds the determined retrieval amount and subtracts the determined repayment amount from the actual total amount before settlement, thereby calculating the expected total amount of the game coins in the game coin tray 3 after retrieval and repayment (the calculated total amount). The management control device 5 obtains the total amount of the game coins actually stored in the game coin tray 3 (the actual total amount after settlement) based on the information from the game coin tray 3 after performing retrieval and repayment. The management control device 5 compares the calculated total amount with the actual total amount after settlement and determines whether they are consistent, thereby verifying whether the settlement has been correctly performed. That is, the management control device 5 determines whether the actual total amount after settlement is consistent with the calculated total amount calculated based on the placement status, the game result, and the initial total amount.
[0085] Assuming that the calculated total amount and the actual total amount after settlement are inconsistent, it means that the retrieval and repayment of the game coins have not been performed according to the calculation results. Therefore, the management control device 5 outputs an error signal and records the information for determining the game in which the inconsistency occurred (for example, the identification information of the game table 1, the date and time of the game, the amount of the inconsistency, etc.). At this time, the image data obtained from the camera 4 is also recorded together with the information for determining the game. The error signal is output at least to the card shoe 2. The card shoe 2 that receives the error signal displays the error content on the monitor 21 and lights the corresponding lamp.
[0086] That is, the management control device 5 calculates the expected total amount of the game coins in the game coin tray 3 after settlement (the calculated total amount) and compares it with the actual total amount of the game coins in the game coin tray 3 after settlement (the actual total amount after settlement), thereby determining whether there is a difference between the calculated total amount and the actual total amount after settlement. The expected total amount is obtained by adding or subtracting the amounts of the token game coins 8 to be retrieved, the amounts of the round game coins 7 to be retrieved, and the amounts of the round game coins 7 to be repaid, which are based on the winning or losing results determined by the card shoe 2 and the determination results of the table game coin reader 13, from the total amount of the game coins in the game coin tray 3 before each game settlement.
[0087] In the operation of a certain ordinary card game, first, the game coins placed by the losing player are collected, and then the winning player is reimbursed. At the time point when the collection is completed, the management control device 5 adds the collection amount to the actual total amount before settlement to calculate the total calculation amount after collection. Also, at the time point when the collection is completed, the total amount of game coins actually stored in the game coin tray 3 (the actual total amount after collection) is obtained. The management control device 5 compares the total calculation amount after collection with the actual total amount after collection and determines whether they are consistent to verify whether the collection is carried out correctly.
[0088] Also, the management control device 5 subtracts the reimbursement amount from the actual total amount after collection to calculate the total calculation amount after reimbursement. And at the time point when the reimbursement is completed, the total amount of game coins actually stored in the game coin tray 3 (the actual total amount after reimbursement) is obtained. The management control device 5 compares the total calculation amount after reimbursement with the actual total amount after reimbursement and determines whether they are consistent to verify whether the reimbursement is carried out correctly. In this way, the management control device 5 verifies whether the collection and reimbursement are carried out correctly respectively.
[0089] The management control device 5 respectively compares the total calculation amount and the actual total amount of the game coin tray 3 after the above settlement for the attributes of each game coin, that is, for the round game coin 7 and the plate game coin 8 respectively, and also compares the total calculation amount and the actual total amount of the game coin tray 3 after collection, and compares the total calculation amount and the actual total amount of the game coin tray 3 after reimbursement. At the same time, the above comparisons are also carried out without distinguishing between the round game coin 7 and the plate game coin 8.
[0090] For example, the management control device 5 calculates the collection amount of the plate game coin 8 based on the placement status and game result of the plate game coin 8, and adds the calculated collection amount of the plate game coin 8 to the actual total amount of the plate game coin 8 in the game coin tray 3 before collection to calculate the total calculation amount of the plate game coin 8 in the game coin tray 3 after collection. And the management control device 5 verifies whether the collection of the plate game coin 8 is carried out correctly by comparing the total calculation amount of the plate game coin 8 after collection with the actual total amount of the plate game coin 8 in the game coin tray 3 after collection.
[0091] That is, when the collection of the losing game coins placed by each player in each game is completed, the management control device 5 determines that the plate game coin 8 to be collected placed in the game is collected into the game coin tray 3 based on the game result determined by the card shoe 2, the reading result of the table game coin reader 13, and the reading result of the game coin tray reader 33.
[0092] As described above, the so-called non-replaceable game coins refer to game coins with non-exchangeable attributes. Therefore, as compensation for the players who win the game, replaceable game coins are paid out instead of non-replaceable game coins. Therefore, before and after the repayment, that is, before and after the repayment, the number of non-replaceable game coins will not increase or decrease, while the number of non-replaceable game coins will decrease.
[0093] Therefore, the management control device 5 determines whether the number of non-replaceable game coins in the game coin tray 3 increases or decreases before and after the repayment, and whether the replaceable game coins decrease. When the number of non-replaceable game coins increases or decreases before and after the repayment, the management control device 5 outputs an error signal. In addition, when the replaceable game coins do not decrease before and after the repayment, the management control device 5 outputs an error signal.
[0094] In addition, for example, the management control device 5 calculates the circular game coin recovery amount based on the placement status of the replaceable game coins and the game result, and adds the calculated replaceable game coin recovery amount to the actual total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray 3 before the recovery, so as to calculate the calculated total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray 3 after the recovery. And the management control device 5 verifies whether the recovery of the replaceable game coins is correctly performed by comparing the calculated total amount of the replaceable game coins after the recovery with the actual total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray 3 after the recovery.
[0095] That is, when the recovery of the lost game coins placed by each player in each game is completed, the management control device 5 determines that the replaceable game coins to be recovered placed in the game are recovered into the game coin tray 3 based on the game result determined by the card shoe 2, the reading result of the table game coin reader 13, and the reading result of the game coin tray reader 33.
[0096] In addition, for example, the management control device 5 calculates the replaceable game coin repayment amount based on the placement status of the replaceable game coins and the game result, and subtracts the calculated replaceable game coin repayment amount from the actual total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray 3 before the repayment after the recovery, so as to calculate the calculated total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray after the repayment. And the management control device 5 verifies whether the repayment of the replaceable game coins is correctly performed by comparing the calculated total amount of the replaceable game coins after the repayment with the actual total amount of the replaceable game coins in the game coin tray after the repayment.
[0097] That is, when the repayment of the won game coins placed by each player in each game is completed, the management control device 5 determines that the repayment of the won game coins is made using the replaceable game coins stored in the game coin tray 3 based on the win-loss result determined by the card shoe 2, the reading result of the table game coin reader 13, and the reading result of the game coin tray reader 33.
[0098] In addition, the management control device 5 has a database storing the identification information of valid game coins, or is connected to such a database. By determining whether the identification information of the game coins stored in the RFID tags 71 and 81 read from the tabletop game coin reader 13 and the game coin tray reader 33 respectively is stored in the database as the identification information of valid game coins, the authenticity of the game coins is determined.
[0099] Figure 5 It is a top view of the game coin tray according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 6 It is a cross-sectional view of the game coin tray according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 7 It is a top view of the game coin tray with the upper game coin storage section according to an embodiment of the present invention opened. As described above, the game coin tray 3 is a double-layer game coin tray having an upper game coin storage section 31 and a lower game coin storage section 32.
[0100] The upper game coin storage section 31 includes: a circular game coin storage section 31a for storing circular game coins 7 separately by type, a decorative plate game coin storage section 31b for storing decorative plate game coins 8, and a recycled game coin storage section 31c for temporarily storing recycled circular game coins 7.
[0101] The circular game coin storage section 31a of the upper game coin storage section 31 has a semi-tubular portion along the shape of the circular game coin 7. The circular game coins 7 are stacked and stored in the circular game coin storage section 31a in a vertically placed state along the tubular portion. The decorative plate game coin storage section 31b has a tray-shaped groove along the shape of the decorative plate game coin 8. The decorative plate game coins 8 are stacked and stored in the decorative plate game coin storage section 31b in a vertically placed state along the groove.
[0102] The recycled game coin storage section 31c has a semi-tubular portion along the shape of the circular game coin 7, and the recycled circular game coins 7 are stacked and stored in the tubular portion in a vertically placed state. The tubular portion of the recycled game coin storage section 31c has a slit extending along the length direction, that is, the stacking direction of the recycled circular game coins 7. A camera is provided inside the slit. The camera captures a part of the side surface of the circular game coins 7 stored in the recycled game coin storage section 31c through the slit. The management control device 5 determines the amount of the circular game coins 7 stored in the recycled game coin storage section 31c based on the image of this camera.
[0103] The circular game coin storage section 32a of the lower-layer game coin storage section 32 has a semi-tube-shaped tube section along the shape of the circular game coin 7. The circular game coins 7 are stacked and stored in the circular game coin storage section 32a in a vertically placed state along the tube section. In the present embodiment, the circular game coins 7 are stored in a housing 321 formed by integrating three tube sections, and the housing 321 is stored in the circular game coin storage section 32a. The display panel game coin storage section 31b has a width greater than the width of the display panel game coin 8. The display panel game coins 8 are stacked and stored in the display panel game coin storage section 31b in a horizontally placed state.
[0104] The game coin tray reader 33 is an RFID game coin reader provided as an RFID antenna on the back surface of the upper-layer game coin storage section 31. The RFID antenna is formed to extend in a planar direction on the back surface of the upper-layer game coin storage section 31. The shape of the RFID antenna and the electromagnetic wave generated by the antenna are designed to be able to read the RFID tags 71 of all the circular game coins 7 stacked and stored vertically in the upper-layer game coin storage section 31 and the RFID tags 81 of the display panel game coins 8, and also to be able to read the RFID tags 71 of all the circular game coins 7 stacked and stored vertically in the lower-layer game coin storage section 32 and the RFID tags 81 of all the display panel game coins 8 stacked and stored horizontally, as described above.
[0105] That is, the game coin tray reader 33 has the following structure: it can read the RFID tags 71 built in the circular game coins 7 and the RFID tags 81 of the display panel game coins 8 regardless of whether the circular game coins 7 and the display panel game coins 8 are vertically placed or horizontally placed in the game coin tray 33.
[0106] It should be noted that the display panel game coin storage section 31b of the upper-layer game coin storage section 31 can also stack and store the display panel game coins 8 in a horizontally placed state, and the game coin tray reader 33 can also read the RFID tags 81 of the display panel game coins 8 stacked and stored horizontally in the upper-layer game coin storage section 31 like this.
[0107] It should be noted that in the lower-layer game coin storage section 32, there is no tube section for storing the circular game coins 7 or a slot for storing the display panel game coins 8, etc., but the circular game coins 7 or the display panel game coins 8 that can be stored in any state of vertical placement and horizontal placement. The game coin tray reader 33 is configured to be able to read the RFID tags 71 of the circular game coins 7 and the RFID tags 81 of the display panel game coins 8 stored in the lower-layer game coin storage section 32 in any orientation of vertical placement and horizontal placement like this.
[0108] In the present embodiment, as the game coin tray reader 33, an RFID antenna is provided on the back surface of the upper game coin storage section 31. The RFID tags 71 of the circular game coins 7 and the RFID tags 81 of the decorative board game coins 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 and the lower game coin storage section 32 in various directions, including vertical placement and horizontal placement, are read through this RFID antenna. However, multiple RFID readers 33 may alternatively be provided as the game coin tray reader 33.
[0109] Figure 8 FIG. is an example showing that an RFID antenna 331 for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and an RFID antenna 332 for reading the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 are separately provided in the upper game coin storage section 31.
[0110] Figure 9 FIG. is an example showing that an RFID antenna 333 for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 and an RFID antenna 334 for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the lower game coin storage section 32 are separately provided.
[0111] In addition, Figure 10 FIG. is an example showing that an RFID antenna 335 for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 and an RFID antenna 336 for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the lower game coin storage section 32 are separately provided. In the example shown in this figure, the respective RFID antennas 335 and 336 are arranged in the stacking direction of the vertically placed game coins.
[0112] In addition, the following RFID antennas may be separately provided: an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 in a vertically placed state; an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 in a horizontally placed state; an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the lower game coin storage section 32 in a vertically placed state; and an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tag 71 of the circular game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the decorative board game coin 8 stored in the lower game coin storage section 32 in a horizontally placed state.
[0113] Furthermore, an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tags of game coins stored in a horizontal position and an RFID antenna for reading the RFID tags of game coins stored in a vertical position may be separately provided.
[0114] When multiple RFID antennas are used as game coin tray readers 33, the management control device 5 that receives the reading results from the multiple RFID antennas respectively can use the identification information of the game coins read by each antenna to integrate the information of the game coins repeatedly read by multiple antennas, thereby calculating the total amount of game coins stored in the game coin tray 3.
[0115] In addition, when the round game coin 7 or the decorative plate game coin 8 has multiple RFID tags 71 and 81 built in, the same identification information is stored in each RFID tag 71 and 81. The game coin tray reader 33 reads any one of the multiple RFID tags 71 and 81 built in one game coin. The management control device 5 integrates the information of the multiple RFID tags 71 and 81 with the same identification information, identifies it as the information of the RFID tag built in one game coin, and calculates the total amount of game coins stored in the game coin tray 3.
[0116] In addition, as described above, in addition to the amount information of the game coin, the RFID tags 71 and 81 also store the attribute information of the game coin (replaceable game coin, non-replaceable game coin). The game coin tray reader 33 also associates the attribute information read from the RFID tags 71 and 81 with the amount information and sends it to the management control device 5. Based on the reading results of the RFID tags 71 and 81, the management control device 5 calculates the total amount according to each attribute of the game coins stored in the game coin tray 33, and calculates the total amount of all game coins without distinguishing the attributes.
[0117] like Figure 7 As shown, a connection mechanism 34 is provided between the upper game coin storage section 31 and the lower game coin storage section 32 to connect them. Through the connection mechanism 34, the upper game coin storage section 31 can cover the lower game coin storage section 32 from above in a closed position, and the upper game coin storage section 31 and the lower game coin storage section 32 are staggered to open the upper surface of the lower game coin storage section 32 ( Figure 7 status).
[0118] The open position is located more above than the closed position and is in the front (the direction away from the dealer and closer to the player position). Thus, the dealer can easily access the lower game coin storage unit 32. The connecting mechanism 34 adopts a pantograph structure. Thus, the upper game coin storage unit 31 can move obliquely upward while maintaining a horizontal trajectory that describes an arc from the closed position to the open position and move obliquely downward while maintaining a horizontal trajectory that describes an arc from the open position to the closed position, so that the game coins stored in the upper game coin storage unit 31 will not be confused due to these movements.
[0119] In the case of the dealer playing the game, that is, under normal circumstances, the upper game coin storage unit 31 is used in the closed position. When the game coins in the upper game coin storage unit 31 are insufficient, the dealer moves the upper game coin storage unit 31 from the closed position to the open position, opens the lower game coin storage unit 32, takes out the required game coins from the lower game coin storage unit 32 and replenishes them to the upper game coin storage unit 31. In addition, when there are too many game coins in the upper game coin storage unit 31, the dealer also moves the upper game coin storage unit 31 from the closed position to the open position and moves a part of the game coins in the upper game coin storage unit 31 to the lower game coin storage unit 32.
[0120] The game coin tray 33 uses a sensor (not shown) to detect the situation where the upper game coin storage unit 31 has moved from the closed position to the open position (open movement) and the situation where the upper game coin storage unit 31 has moved from the open position to the closed position (closed movement). If the sensor detects the open movement of the upper game coin storage unit 31, the game coin tray 33 sends a signal (open movement detection signal) for notifying the open movement to the management control device 5. If the sensor detects the closed movement of the upper game coin storage unit 31, the game coin tray 33 sends a signal (closed movement detection signal) for notifying the closed movement to the management control device 5. It should be noted that when the game coin tray 33 detects both the open movement and the closed movement, it can send a signal (open / closed movement detection signal) for notifying the presence of the open / closed movement to the management control device 5.
[0121] When the management control device 5 receives the open movement detection signal and the closed movement detection signal, it determines based on this signal whether the total amount of all the game coins stored in the game coin tray 3 has increased or decreased. The management control device 5 compares the total amount of the game coins detected by the game coin tray reader 33 immediately before receiving the open movement detection signal (total amount before opening) with the total amount of the game coins detected by the game coin tray reader 33 immediately after receiving the closed movement detection signal (total amount after closing).
[0122] If the game coins are only moved between the upper game coin storage section 31 and the lower game coin storage section 32, there will be no difference between the total amount before opening and the total amount after closing. When the total amount before opening and the total amount after closing are inconsistent, it is possible that game coins are added to the game table, moved from the game table, or added to the game coin tray 3 through some improper behavior, or game coins are taken from the game coin tray 3.
[0123] When the total amount before opening and the total amount after closing are inconsistent, the management control device 5 records this situation together with the positive or negative difference, and outputs an error signal indicating the inconsistent situation and the difference to the outside as needed. The management control device 5 or other devices receiving this report compare the error signal with the exchange record of the game coins between the game table and the game table 1 to determine whether the inconsistency is caused by the exchange between the game table and the game table 1 or by some improper behavior. The error signal is output at least to the card shoe 2. The card shoe 2 receiving the error signal displays the error content on the monitor 21 and lights the corresponding lamp.
[0124] In addition, when the game coin tray reader 33 separately reads the game coins stored in the upper game coin storage section 31 and the game coins stored in the lower game coin storage section 32 using multiple RFID antennas, the management control device 5 determines whether the increase or decrease in the upper game coin storage section 31 is consistent with the decrease or increase in the lower game coin storage section 32.
[0125] The total amount of the game coins stored in the game coin tray 3 increases or decreases according to the settlement (recovery and repayment) in the game. Therefore, the management control device 5 compares and calculates the total amount with the actual total amount after settlement as described above after each game settlement. Players can request the exchange of game coins from the dealer during the game break. In addition, non-replaceable game coins cannot be exchanged as described above, nor can they be exchanged with replaceable game coins. However, some casinos allow players to exchange the non-replaceable game coins they hold into replaceable game coins held by the dealer at a specified exchange ratio lower than the equivalent value.
[0126] Therefore, the management control device 5 determines whether the exchange of non-replaceable game coins and replaceable game coins is correctly carried out according to the set exchange ratio. For example, when the exchange ratio for exchanging non-replaceable game coins into replaceable game coins is set to 0.8, and for non-replaceable game coins with an amount of 100 provided by the player, the dealer gives the player 80 replaceable game coins, the management control device 5 compares the reading results of the game coin tray 3 before and after the exchange and determines whether the amount of the replaceable game coins that disappeared from the game coin tray 3 is 0.8 times the amount of the non-replaceable game coins added to the game coin tray 3.
[0127] Furthermore, when allowing players to exchange replaceable game coins for non-replaceable game coins, the management control device 5 determines whether such an exchange is correctly made according to the set exchange ratio. For example, if the exchange ratio from replaceable game coins to non-replaceable game coins is set to 1.1, and for 100 replaceable game coins provided by the player, the dealer gives the player 110 non-replaceable game coins, the management control device 5 compares the reading results of the game coin tray 3 before and after the exchange, and determines whether the amount of non-replaceable game coins that disappeared from the game coin tray 3 is 1.1 times the amount of replaceable game coins added to the game coin tray 3.
[0128] In the case where the management control device 5 determines that the exchange of replaceable game coins and non-replaceable game coins is not correctly made, this situation and the positive or negative difference between the calculated total amount and the actual total amount are recorded together, and a error signal for indicating the improper situation and the difference is output to the outside as needed. The error signal is output to at least the card shoe 2. The card shoe 2 that receives the error signal displays the error content on the monitor 21 and lights the corresponding lamp.
[0129] As described above, according to the game coin tray 3 and the game management system including the same of the present embodiment, whether in the case of storing the circular game coins 7 and the ornament game coins 8 with different sizes and shapes mixedly, or in the case of storing the vertically placed game coins and the horizontally placed game coins mixedly, the RFID tags 71, 81 built in the game coins can be read by the game coin tray reader 33, and various game managements can be performed based on the read information.
[0130] In addition, since the RFID tags 71, 81 respectively store the attribute information of their game coins, the management control device 5 can grasp the attributes (replaceable game coins, non-replaceable game coins) of the game coins stored in the game coin tray 3, can perform game management on the circular game coins 7 and the ornament game coins 8 respectively, and can perform game management based on the attributes of the circular game coins 7 and the ornament game coins 8.
[0131] It should be noted that in the above embodiment, although the game coin tray 3 is a double-layer game coin tray having an upper game coin storage portion 31 and a lower game coin storage portion 32, the game coin tray 3 is not limited thereto, and may also be a single-layer game coin tray capable of storing the circular game coins 7 and the ornament game coins 8.
[0132] The single-layer game coin tray is equipped with a tray game coin reader, which can read two types of game coins (round game coin 7 and fascia game coin 8) with different shapes or sizes and having RFID tags embedded therein. The tray game coin reader reads the RFID tag 71 of the round game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the fascia game coin 8 stored in the game coin tray, and the management control device 5 grasps their respective attributes and amounts.
[0133] In this game coin tray, the round game coin 7 can be stored along the tube portion provided in the game coin tray 3 in a vertically placed state, and the fascia game coin 8 can be stored either vertically or horizontally. With such a single-layer game coin tray, the tray game coin reader can also read the RFID tag 71 of the round game coin 7 and the RFID tag 81 of the fascia game coin 8 in both vertically and horizontally placed states.
[0134] Figure 11 It is a diagram showing a modification example of the game coin according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this modification example, embedding members 72 are provided at regular intervals on the peripheral edge of the round game coin 7'. The embedding members 72 can be observed from the side, and also from the front and back surfaces. The color, shape, and / or number of the embedding members 72 indicate the attribute of the game coin (whether it is a non-replaceable game coin or a replaceable game coin). Thus, through the round game coin 7' of this modification example, the attribute of the game coin can be discriminated from the side, the front surface, and the back surface. The center line on the side of the round game coin 7' continues around the side of the round game coin 7 without being interrupted by the embedding members 72. The embedding members 72 are provided at at least three or more positions (set at equal angular intervals with an angular interval of 120 degrees or less) so that the embedding members 72 can be observed from the side regardless of the rotational angle of the round game coin 7' in the circumferential direction.
[0135] It should be noted that the same embedding members can also be provided on the fascia game coin 8. When provided on the fascia game coin 8, at least one embedding member can be provided on each of the four sides. Alternatively, the embedding members can be provided only on two long sides or two short sides.
