Abstract

The invention discloses a discrete grid reflection type difunctional vortex wave metasurface device, and relates to the technical field of electromagnetic metasurfaces. The invention aims to solve the problem that the existing device for singly generating a wave vortex cannot generate and operate vortex waves on a plurality of frequency bands and cannot adapt to the processing requirements of electromagnetic waves with different frequencies. The metasurface array is formed by arranging a plurality of metasurface units; the metasurface unit sequentially comprises a top layer unit, a dielectric layer and a bottom layer metal plate from top to bottom; the top layer unit comprises a metal grid plate and a metal block; n identical metal grids are uniformly arranged on the metal grid plate; the metal blocks are the same as the metal grids in size; the number of the metal blocks is smaller than that of the metal grids; the metal blocks are arranged in the metal grids; the dielectric layer is polyimide; the lower surface of the top layer unit is in contact with the upper surface of the dielectric layer; and the upper surface of the bottom metal plate is in contact with the lower surface of the dielectric layer. The vortex wave generator is used for generating vortex waves.
