Abstract

The application discloses a cache maintenance system of a heterogeneous computing system and an electronic device, relates to the technical field of data processing, and a first directory controller manages the consistency state of a host end, and a second directory controller manages the consistency state of a device end, so that a consistency maintenance operation is first efficiently processed by a corresponding directory controller in the local storage domain, and frequent coordination communication across devices is reduced. When cross-domain data access occurs, the two directory controllers cooperate through a predetermined communication coupling mechanism and perform global consistency maintenance on demand. Not only can the device end adapt to a high burst and high parallel access mode, but also direct conflicts with the cache management mechanism of the host end can be avoided, and global consistency is realized through distributed cooperation. The technical problems of the performance bottleneck of cache consistency in the heterogeneous system are solved, and the technical effects of maintaining correctness while improving the overall data access efficiency of the heterogeneous system are achieved.
