Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention provides a permanent magnet asymmetric pole drive motor with reduced torque ripple, belonging to the field of automotive motor and electrical technology. Background Technology
[0002] Currently, most drive motors used in new energy vehicles are DC motors with carbon brushes and mechanical commutators. Although DC motors have a simple structure, high controllability, wide speed range, relatively simple control circuits, and low cost, the magnetic field of a DC drive motor is generated by an electrically excited winding, resulting in high energy consumption and low output power. In addition, the presence of carbon brushes and mechanical commutators not only limits the overload capacity and speed of the drive motor, but also necessitates frequent maintenance and replacement of carbon brushes and commutators if the motor operates for a long time. DC motors have high energy consumption and a high failure rate, and their performance needs further improvement.
[0003] The purpose of this invention is to provide a permanent magnet asymmetric pole drive motor that overcomes the above-mentioned defects. [0004] Compared with existing technologies, the magnetic poles on the rotor of this invention are composed of multiple permanent magnet steels and magnetically insulating air gaps. The magnetic poles are designed asymmetrically in terms of rotor core structure shape, permanent magnet steel size, and magnetic field distribution. The air gap magnetic field generated by each magnetic pole is distributed in a multi-segment manner, which reduces cogging torque and torque pulsation. The multiple permanent magnet steels work together to concentrate magnetism, resulting in high magnetic field utilization. The air gap magnetic flux density is close to a sinusoidal distribution with low waveform distortion, thereby reducing electromagnetic torque fluctuations during motor operation, improving motor running smoothness and output stability, reducing hysteresis loss and stator core eddy current loss, and improving motor power density and output efficiency. The seventeenth rectangular permanent magnet (24) with the S pole polarity on the right end face is placed in the seventeenth rectangular slot. Two sixteenth rectangular permanent magnets (23) of different lengths are placed in the two sixteenth rectangular slots of the rotor core (3) in an inverted "V" shape, with the opposite sides of the two sixteenth rectangular permanent magnets (23) having the S pole polarity on both sides. The longer sixteenth rectangular permanent magnet (23) is placed in the sixteenth rectangular slot on the left side of the two sixteenth rectangular slots of the rotor core (3), and the shorter sixteenth rectangular permanent magnet (23) is placed in the sixteenth rectangular slot on the right side of the two sixteenth rectangular slots of the rotor core (3).The eighteenth rectangular permanent magnet (25) with the S pole on its right end face is placed in the eighteenth rectangular slot, and the nineteenth rectangular permanent magnet (26) with the S pole on its left end face is placed in the nineteenth rectangular slot, forming the second S pole of the permanent magnet rotor. This process is repeated to form a permanent magnet rotor with an asymmetrical pole structure where N and S poles are arranged alternately. The rotor core (3) is press-fitted onto the shaft (2).
