Copper-based catalysts, processes for their preparation and use

Abstract

The application relates to the field of catalyst preparation, and discloses a copper-based catalyst and a preparation method and application thereof, wherein the copper-based catalyst comprises iridium copper nanometer hollow spheres, the outer diameter of the hollow spheres is 4-100 nm, the wall thickness is 1-20 nm, and the catalyst comprises copper elements, noble metal elements and a capping agent. The copper-based catalyst provided by the application can be used as a cathode and anode catalyst for carbon dioxide electrolysis, can significantly enhance electron conductivity, can reduce the voltage of the carbon dioxide electrolysis reaction, and has high electrochemical stability and electrolysis capacity.
