Abstract

The application provides a map display method, an electronic device, a storage medium and a program product, and relates to the technical field of terminals. By storing multiple tile pictures in continuous memory space, the problem that memory fragmentation is more in the memory space after randomly storing the multiple tile pictures, so that the memory space cannot be applied to store tile pictures with a larger size, is avoided. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a starting operation on a target application; and displaying a target map view. The target map view comprises a partial region of a target picture, the target picture comprises multiple tile pictures that are spliced with each other, the multiple tile pictures are obtained by cutting from a tile map and are stored in continuous memory space to render the target picture.
