Abstract

The present disclosure is an oil pump and a vehicle, and relates to the technical field of automobile parts. The oil pump comprises a shell, a rotor assembly and a driving member; the rotor assembly and the driving member are located in the shell, the driving member is connected with the shell, the driving member is in transmission connection with the rotor assembly, and the rotor assembly is used for driving the flow of liquid medium; and the area opposite to the side wall of the rotor assembly on the inner wall of the shell has a retention groove. In the present disclosure, by arranging the retention groove on the area opposite to the side wall of the rotor assembly on the inner wall of the shell, the foreign matters carried by the liquid medium flowing between the inner wall of the shell and the outer wall of the rotor assembly can be stopped in the retention groove under the centrifugal action, the possibility of sliding or jamming of the foreign matters between the inner wall of the shell and the outer wall of the rotor assembly is reduced, the wear of the inner wall of the shell and the outer wall of the rotor assembly by the foreign matters is alleviated, and the service life and reliability of the oil pump are prolonged.
