Abstract

This invention provides the application of Bacillus subtilis strain Bs25 in the control of Fusarium wilt in Cotinus coggygria. The Bacillus subtilis strain was isolated in April 2025 from the rhizosphere soil of healthy Cotinus coggygria plants in a control plot at Xiangshan Park, Beijing. It exhibits targeted control of Fusarium wilt in Cotinus coggygria, showing a significant inhibitory effect on Verticillium dahliae. While secreting auxin, it promotes root repair and possesses the ability to colonize the rhizosphere soil of diseased Cotinus coggygria plants and continuously inhibit the germination of pathogenic microsclerotia. The Bacillus subtilis strain was deposited on November 7, 2025, at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) with accession number CGMCC No. 36538. Its microbial inoculum remains active under high temperature, high salinity, strong alkalinity, or extreme drought conditions. It can be directly used to control Fusarium wilt in Cotinus coggygria and has promising application prospects.
