Abstract

A plate heat exchanger and a thermal management system capable of improving the integration of a plurality of components and preferably capable of improving the refrigerating capacity of the thermal management system without increasing the amount of refrigerant to be charged and thus without increasing the size of the thermal management system. The plate heat exchanger includes a heat transfer plate group formed by a plurality of heat transfer plates stacked in a length direction, and a first end plate and a second end plate sandwiching the heat transfer plate group in the length direction, the first end plate being provided with a first flow inlet and a first flow outlet, wherein the heat transfer plate group includes a condensing section in which a first fluid is condensed from a gaseous state to a liquid state, and a supercooling section in which the liquid state first fluid is supercooled, and the plate heat exchanger further includes a liquid storage portion integrally provided on a side of the second end plate and storing the liquid state first fluid condensed by the condensing section of the heat transfer plate group, the gaseous state first fluid flowing in from the first flow inlet is condensed to the liquid state first fluid by the condensing section and then supercooled in the supercooling section via the liquid storage portion, and subsequently flows out from the first flow outlet.
