A battery module and battery pack

Abstract

This application provides a battery module and battery pack, belonging to the field of battery technology. The battery module includes a housing, battery cells, a cooling component, and a busbar. Multiple battery cells are disposed within the housing, and the cooling component is thermally connected to at least a portion of the battery cells to cool them. The busbar includes an interconnected main body and an extension. The main body is electrically connected to the battery cells, and the extension is adapted to be thermally connected to the cooling component so that the cooling component cools the extension. The battery module provided in this application can simultaneously cool the battery cells and the busbar through the cooling component, reducing the busbar temperature without increasing its size, saving costs, and contributing to the lightweighting of the battery module.
