Abstract

This application provides a roller assembly and a dishwasher, relating to the field of dishwasher technology. The roller assembly includes a roller comprising a first part and a second part, which together form a mounting cavity. A rolling mechanism is installed within the mounting cavity. The rolling mechanism is used to connect with the dishwasher shelf, and the roller rolls relative to the rolling mechanism to move the shelf relative to the dishwasher's inner tub. The connection of the first and second parts confines the rolling mechanism within the mounting cavity. The mounting cavity formed by the connection of the first and second parts facilitates the installation of the rolling mechanism, reduces maintenance costs, and allows for easier maintenance and replacement of the rolling mechanism. The roller rolls relative to the rolling mechanism, and the rolling friction between the roller and the rolling mechanism reduces movement resistance compared to frictional sliding, making the pushing and pulling of the shelf easier and smoother.
