Abstract

The AERO-RIEL is a suspended, modular, and sustainable aerial mass transit system that uses new or recycled tubular metal structures from the oil industry, arranged in structural arches and rails suspended by hangers. Its propulsion is based on an electromechanical system called "Kijote," with integrated HUB-type electric motors, capable of transporting up to 5,000 passengers per hour in each direction. The system incorporates floating foundations that allow for installation on uneven terrain or with underground infrastructure, avoiding deep excavations and significantly reducing construction costs and time compared to similar systems. It operates with low-speed vertical wind turbines and can integrate other renewable energy sources, guaranteeing zero operational emissions.Thanks to its modular design, low visual impact and optimization of public space through slender towers, the AERO-RIEL is ideal for urban, rural, tourist and industrial environments, offering an efficient, ecological and economically viable alternative for sustainable mobility.
