Abstract

The Autonomous Device for Grasping, Manipulating, and Opening Bead Containers for Flexible Cells in Educational Manufacturing is an electromechanical robotic gripping and handling mechanism for the automated grasping and opening of containers. This device comprises a main structural body to which a gripper is attached. The gripper has one fixed jaw and one movable jaw, with nitrile inserts on part of its inner surface and lid control fins, designed to grip HAS200 type square containers. The containers are opened by a claw-shaped opener installed beneath the jaws, driven by a shaft coupled to a geared motor. The controlled rotation of the claw acts on the container lid.The device also incorporates connecting bushings that guarantee alignment and repeatability of movement.
