Abstract

A ventilated communications pedestal housing having a top surface with a hole through the top surface, the hole having lobed portions extending radially outward around a perimeter of the hole, a raised ring extending radially outward around the perimeter of the hole, and air slots in the raised ring extending radially outward from the lobed portions, and a nameplate assembly positioned on and extending through the top surface of the pedestal housing, the nameplate assembly having a top disc portion and a post extending from the top disc portion, the post extending through the hole and having a fastener engaging the post to secure the nameplate assembly to the top surface of the housing,The upper surface has a plurality of spaced, raised ridges that form airflow spaces on the upper surface around the nameplate assembly.
