Abstract
Description
Field of the InventionThe invention relates to an industrial truck for pallets. Pallets are flat supporting devices, usually made of wood, which are used for stacking goods and their subsequent transport. Industrial trucks for pallets are means for horizontally transporting the pallets with the stacked goods.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONFork lift trucks are generally used for transporting loaded pallets from a truck into a storage space. These travel with their forks under the pallets, lift them and transport them to their destination. For this purpose, it is necessary to move the forklift truck directly to the pallets in order to be able to pick up and transport them securely with the forks. The load floor of a truck is normally considerably higher than the floor. If the pallets are located on the load surface of a truck, the forklift truck can, at least at a level level, approach a pallet close enough only if the latter is located close to the load edge.Although there are warehouses with loading ramps which are arranged on a level with the truck bed and which allow the truck bed to be traveled on with the fork lift truck, these devices are not always available. If the pallet is then far from the loading edge, the pallet on the loading surface must first be transported to the loading edge in order to be accessible to the forklift truck. This is difficult and expensive, since loaded pallets can reach a weight of up to 1000 kg.US 2 405 155 A discloses the closest prior art, namely a hand truck for boxes, packages and the like. The hand truck has a frame with a push rod, wheels and a chain. The chain is mounted on the push rod and has at its end a hook which is placed behind the box. This presses against the rear of the box when the rod is guided downwards. Claws press against the front of the box. The hand truck is also not suitable for transporting pallets.DE 20 2011 000 480 U1 discloses a lifting and transport device for filing cabinets. This is a hydraulic device by means of which filing cabinets are lifted and placed on rolling trucks for transport.U.S. Pat. No. 2011 / 0 274 526 A1, DE 34 37 670 A1, U.S. Pat. No. 3,083,950 A and DE 299 04 185 U1 disclose anti-slip devices.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention was developed in the light of the above-described prior art. It is therefore the object of the invention to propose an industrial truck by means of which pallets can be transported on the load surface in a simple manner. This object is achieved according to the invention by means of an industrial truck for Euro pallets, which comprises an axle and at least one support element, which has an elevation at its front end facing away from the axle, wherein a lever device is furthermore provided, which is designed to move the support element or elements upwards and the industrial truck in the direction of the pulling force when a pulling force is applied, in that(a) the lever device is fastened at one end to the axle and has a fastening means for a traction device at its other end,(b) two wheels being rotatably mounted on the axle,(c) the lever device has an angle with respect to the bearing surface of a bearing element which is at least 90 degrees, preferably greater than 90 degrees,(d) two spaced-apart support elements are provided which are fastened to the axle,(e) the elevations are each strips running parallel to the axis, wherein the strips are designed to engage around a transverse board of a pallet during operation and to hook itself firmly with the underside of the latter,(f) the lever device comprises two spars which are connected to one another and form an approximately triangular shape with the axis,(g) as a fastening means for the pulling device, an eyelet is provided which is fastened to the end of the lever device opposite the axis,(h) a chain is secured to the eyelet as a pulling device, and(i) a push rod is releasably fastened on the axle opposite the support elements. For use, the industrial truck is pushed with the support element or elements under the pallet to be transported. The support elements are at least so long that they can engage around the edge-located transverse beam of the pallet with the elevation. If a tensile force is now applied to the lever device, the support elements move upwards, become interlocked with the pallet and slightly lift it in the region of the support elements, so that the pallet only rests with the non-lifted part on the load surface. This reduces the frictional resistance. By further exerting the tensile force on the lever device, the pallet is pulled to the desired position, i.e. for example to the loading edge. When the pulling force is released, the lifted part of the pallet lowers again. The pulling force can advantageously be generated by a fork lift which is connected to the lever device and travels in the pulling force direction. Because the lever device has an angle in relation to the bearing surface of a bearing element which is at least 90 degrees, preferably greater than 90 degrees, the ratio of acting lever force and tensile force is particularly favorable. The two support elements spaced apart by an intermediate space, which are fastened to the axle, ensure that the pallet can be lifted and transported particularly securely. Because the elevation is in each case designed as a strip running parallel to the axis, the pallet is securely gripped and held. By virtue of the fact that the lever device comprises two spars which are connected to one another and form an approximately triangular shape with the axis, a stable shape is ensured. Because the push rod is designed to be detachable, the industrial truck with the push rod removed requires only a small amount of space and can be carried along, for example, in the driver's cab of a truck.Brief Description of the Drawings:FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the industrial truck; FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the industrial truck which is pushed under a pallet; FIG. 3 shows a perspective lateral bottom view of the industrial truck with pallet; and FIG. 4 shows a perspective side view of the industrial truck with the pallet lifted.Functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals.DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONA best mode of embodiment of the invention is described in detail below with reference to the drawings, wherein further advantageous features can be seen from the figures of the drawing.FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the industrial truck 1, which serves to move pallets 2 over shorter distances, for example on the load surface of a truck, in order to subsequently transport them. The industrial truck 1 shown comprises a horizontally arranged axle 3 with two rotatable wheels 12. The support elements 4 have a support surface 14 for the pallets 2. On the front region of the bearing surface 14 there is fastened in each case a strip 5 which forms an upwardly pointing elevation. Also fastened to the axle 3 are two upwardly pointing spars 9 which extend towards the center of the axle and are connected, so that the spars 9 and the axle 3 form the shape of an approximately isosceles triangle. In relation to the bearing surfaces 14 or to the plane spanned by them, the angle of the lever device 6 formed by the spars 9 is greater than 90 degrees. At the upper end of the two spars 9 an eyelet 7 is arranged, to which a chain 10 is fastened. The chain 7 serves as a traction device for the industrial truck 1. the chain 7 can be connected, for example, to a forklift (not shown) which pulls the industrial truck 1.Furthermore, a push rod 11 with a handle 13 is fastened to the axle 3. The industrial truck 1 can thereby be moved and moved under a pallet 2.FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the industrial truck 1 which is pushed under a Euro pallet 2. The typical pallet 2 shown is a wood flat support used for stacking goods (not shown) and subsequent transport thereof. It consists of longitudinally extending boards 15 nailed onto blocks 16. For stabilization purposes, two transverse boards 17 are also used, which are respectively fixed to the front and the end face of the pallet 2 between the blocks 16 and the boards 15. The blocks are again arranged on lower, longitudinally extending boards 15'.As FIG. 2 shows, the industrial truck 1 can be moved with the push rod 11 under the pallet 2, because the intermediate space 8 between the two support elements 4 is dimensioned such that the central block 16' of the pallet 2 fits between the two support elements 4.FIG. 3 shows the industrial truck 1 with the pallet 2 as in FIG. 2, but in a side view below. It is shown that the two support elements 4 rest with their support surface 14 on the underside of the front transverse board 17. The two strips 5 each engage around the transverse board 17 in a form-fitting manner. The length of the support elements 4 or the support surface 14 is selected such that it is somewhat greater than the width of the transverse board 17 so that the two strips 5 can engage around the transverse board 17 at its inner edge.FIG. 4 shows a perspective side view of the industrial truck 1 with the pallet 2 lifted. the chain 10 is shown in the tensioned state because it is pulled in the force direction 18, for example by a fork lift truck (not shown) connected to the chain 10. The spars 9 inclined in the direction of force 18 or in the direction of the push rod 11 exert a torque on the axle 3, so that the axle 3 rotates somewhat counterclockwise and the support elements 4 are thus lifted and pressed with force against the transverse board 17. The pallet is thereby slightly lifted on the side 2' facing the industrial truck 1. The strips 5 also hook firmly with the transverse board 17 of the pallet 2.As a result, the pallet 2 rests on the floor only with its rear portion 2" of the lower boards 15', resulting in low frictional resistance during pulling. The pallet 2 can now be pulled to the desired position by the industrial truck 1. Pallets having a weight of up to 1000 kg can be moved safely. The invention proposes a transport means for pallets 2 that can be produced cost-effectively but is very efficient and useful.List of reference characters1 Industrial truck 2 Pallet 3 Axle 4 Support elements 5 Strip 6 Lever device 7 Eyelet 8 Intermediate space 9 Spars 10 Chain 11 Push rod 12 Wheels 13 Handle 14 Support surface 15 Boards 16 Blocks 17 Transverse boards 18 Direction of traction
