By providing a plurality of cooperating, foldable panel members in combination with a plurality of foldable wheel assemblies, a unique wagon or cart construction is attained which is capable of being folded into a small, compact area, whenever desired, and then quickly and easily deployed into a fully erected and operational position, which enables virtually any desired object to be easily transported. In addition, in the preferred construction of this invention, an automatically deployed structural supporting member is incorporated into the wagon/cart for providing inherent strength and rigidity to the wagon/cart when fully erected. In this way, heavy objects previously incapable of being transported are capable of being accommodated with ease.

A folding wagon having a basket within which to carry articles and/or small children and a collapsible frame to enable the wagon to be folded between an expanded open configuration at which the basket is outstretched and a compact closed configuration at which the basket is collapsed. The wagon also has pairs of front and rear wheels that are spaced outwardly from the front and rear of the wagon so as to lie ahead of and behind the basket. A handle is connected to the top of the basket at the front of the wagon. When the wagon is folded to its compact closed configuration, the pairs of front and rear wheels are positioned in axial alignment to facilitate transport and/or storage. With the wagon folded, the axially-aligned pairs of wheels and the handle form a stand for supporting the wagon in an upright position.

An apparatus for climbing and descending stairs or other obstacles has three flexibly connected sections and a pair of crawler belt systems on opposite sides of the unit. Each of the crawler belt systems comprised of three crawler belts are driven by one of a pair of motors that directly drives a pinion that engages two of the crawler belts, one of which then drives the last crawler belt through another pinion. The stair-climbing apparatus also includes a mounting platform for coupling a carrier device such as a wheelchair or a box. In order to provide cushioning and stability for movements from a horizontal surface to an inclined surface and vice versa, shock absorbers are provided between the three sections. A linear actuator is also provided to provide stabilization as well as the ability to raise and lower both the stair-climbing crawler unit as well as the wheelchair, providing three modes of operation including manually wheel driven mode, motor wheel driven mode, and motor crawler driven mode.

A modular, universal, molded plastic flatbed type cart for carrying and supporting products includes variable product supporting metallic handles located at opposed ends of the cart. The handles include vertically extending posts that define at least one central channel completely open in an upward direction above the bed section of the cart and preferably another upwardly opening side channel located above the cart bed; continuous U-shaped handles, handles with a collapsible tray, and connector rails spanning the handles from one end of the cart to the other. An omnidirectionally moving wheel includes multiple rotating bodies and a wheel, wherein each rotating body has a flexibility to be able to bend a rotational axis, is bent to encircle an outer circumference of the wheel in a ring-like shape, and is compressed in a direction of the rotational axis of each rotating body to be disposed on the wheel in a manner to allow rotation centered around each rotating body's secured rotational axis extending along a plane perpendicular to the rotational axis of the wheel.

A multiple directional wheel includes a frame having a central hub rotatable about a main axis, a plurality of roller supports radially spaced from the central hub, and a plurality of rollers evenly spaced around the circumference of the wheel and rotatably mounted on the roller supports. The rollers are preferably rotatable about a corresponding plurality of roller axes aligned in the plane of the wheel and transverse to the main axis. Preferably, the frame is integrally formed in a first molding process and the rollers are formed in place on the wheel about the roller supports in a separate process. A wheeled utility bag that includes a customizable storage area for conveniently transporting a number of items and extendable axles for increased stability. The utility bag includes a rigid base incorporating an extendable handle, a fixed handle, extendable axles supporting at least one rotatable wheel and a container such as a flexible bag. A supply kit can be removably mounted to a first side of the rigid base while the flexible bag is permanently attached to a second side of the base. The flexible bag forms a main compartment area for transporting tools or implements. A customized insert can be included in the main compartment. The utility bag also including a number of secondary compartments, retainers, handles, attachments and pockets.

According to an aspect of the invention, an apparatus for transporting objects comprises a frame for receiving at least one object, at least one handle coupled to the frame, at least one set of wheels coupled to the frame, at least one track coupled to the frame, wherein the track allows movement of the apparatus in addition to the wheels, and at least one brake mechanism coupled to the frame.

An all-terrain four wheel welding cart having an independent suspension system making the cart capable of traveling across a variety of terrains either by being manually pulled by a handle connected to the suspension system making it easy to control cart direction or by an interchangeable tow hitch which can replace the manual towing handle allowing the cart to be mounted onto a tow receiver and quickly driven away. Due to the cart's ground clearance, size of wheels and pneumatic tires, it can travel most terrains usually unavailable to standard welding carts.

The present invention is a pallet cart adapted to transport a loaded pallet to a location within a facility and/or transport loose materials from said location. The pallet cart comprises a base frame, a plurality of castor wheels, a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The base frame includes a front frame side, a rear frame side, a hitch, a hitch tongue pivotally extending from the base frame, and a means for coupling the pallet cart to a second pallet cart to form a single extended pallet cart for moving items having an extended length. Each castor wheel is coupled to the base frame and pivotal about an axis extending vertically downward from the base frame. A castor locking mechanism interacts with said means for coupling to prevent a castor wheel from pivoting about its axis when the pallet cart is coupled to a second pallet cart to form an extended pallet cart. The first sidewall is pivotally coupled to the front frame side and adapted to pivot from a vertical position to a horizontal position to be folded within the base frame. Similarly, the second sidewall is pivotally coupled to the rear frame side and adapted pivot from a vertical position to a horizontal position to be folded within the base frame. When the sidewalls are folded down within the base frame, a loaded pallet may be placed on the pallet cart. The pallet cart is adapted to be hitched to a powered pulling device and/or other pallet carts via the hitch tongue. Thus, multiple loaded pallets may be moved in one trip when multiple pallet carts, which are each loaded with a loaded pallet, are hitched in a train-like manner to a powered pulling device that is used to pull the sting of loaded pallet carts to a location within the facility.

A load roller assembly includes a first load roller that rotates about a first axis, a second load roller that rotates about a second axis, and a third load roller that rotates about a third axis. The first and second load rollers are configured to move vertically up and down independently of the third load roller. A quad tracked vehicle may include a forward starboard track arm, an aft starboard track arm, a forward port track arm, and an aft port track arm. A mobile load support for cradling and moving heavy loads comprises a pair of axles in spaced apart parallel relationship to each other, having corner units pivotally mounted on respective ends of the axles. Each of the corner units comprises a truck body having swivelable castor wheels disposed at each end thereof, and a platform projecting therefrom at a level below the longitudinal axis of the truck body for cradling a corner of the load. A pair of ratchet straps engages the ends of the axles, and can be tightened to secure the mobile load support around the load. The mobile load support is capable of manoeuvring over uneven surfaces due to the pivoting action of the corner units, which reduces the tendency of the load becoming dislodged from the support, and is flexible in that it can be easily adapted to loads of different sizes.
