Description

The invention relates to a toothed coupling having two connected toothed coupling halves, each of the toothed coupling halves having at least one external toothing part and one internal toothing part, which form a curved entrainment connection in the respective toothed coupling half, wherein at least one elastic sealing element is assigned to the entrainment connection. As the desire for an ever more compact design of drive systems and a simultaneous increase in power density continues to increase, tooth couplings are becoming increasingly important. They are capable of compensating comparatively large angular displacements and axial and radial displacements in the case of positive transmission of torque and rotational movement. Ever-increasing power requirements of propulsion systems, such as wind turbines, rolling mill drives and train drives (road and S-train, high speed trains), require tooth couplings as a machine element with the highest power density. The publication DE 196 44 884 C1 describes a toothed coupling 1 with two toothed coupling halves 27, 28, in which the two toothed coupling halves 27, 28 are firmly screwed to one another directly by means of fitting screws 23. FIG. 1 shows a twin-tooth clutch 1 screwed in this way, in which the two tooth clutch halves 27, 28 essentially each have a clutch housing 2 with two clutch housing parts 5, 6 as two sleeves and two clutch parts 3, 4 arranged within the clutch housing 2 as hubs, wherein the clutch parts 3, 4 each define an inner region 17, 65 of the clutch part in the interior of the clutch housing 2, between which region a flange region 56 is present. The coupling housing 2 expediently consists of the coupling housing parts 5, 6 which are designed to be largely symmetrical and are screwed together by means of the fitting screws 23 on the mutually facing flanges 42, 43 present on the coupling housing parts 5, 6 and each contain a radially directed inner cover 45, 46 sealing off the inner regions 17, 65 of the coupling part. The coupling parts 3, 4 have external teeth 9, 10 with arched coupling teeth on their outer circumferential region 7. The clutch housing 2 has internal teeth 11, 12 on its inner circumference 8. The external teeth 9, 10 of the coupling parts 3, 4 and the internal teeth 11, 12 of the coupling housing 2 form in the coupling housing parts 5, 6 in each case a curved entrainment tooth 13, 14 which is sealed and protected by an elastic sealing element 18, 47 and in which, in accordance with a relative movement between the coupling parts 3, 4 and the coupling housing parts 5, 6 with respect to one another, the internal teeth 11, 12 and the external teeth 9, 10 can also be moved relative to one another. The relative movement arises as a result of axial and / or angular deflections of the coupling parts 3, 4 with respect to the coupling housing parts 5, 6.On the inner sides 19, 20 between the clutch housing 2 and the clutch part 3, 4 there is provided in each case an annular disk-shaped cover 45, 46 which protects the driving tooth arrangements 13, 14 and the associated clutch part inner regions 17, 65. The clutch housing axle is indicated by the reference numeral 59.Between the coupling housing 2 or the coupling housing parts 5, 6 and each coupling part 3, 4 an axially directed corrugated pipe 18, 47 fastened to the two coupling parts 3 and 5 and coupling housing parts 4 and 6 can be arranged as an elastic sealing element, which both seals the associated arched driving toothing 13, 14 and also resiliently adjusts a predetermined position of the coupling housing 2.Instead of the corrugated tubes 18, 47, other elastic sealing elements can also be introduced for sealing the entrainment connection 13, 14.The deflection of the coupling parts 3, 4 (hubs) with respect to one another, as shown in FIG. 2, results in a relative movement with respect to the coupling housing parts (sleeves) 5, 6, which is shown by a deflection / displacement angle δ between the coupling part axes of rotation 15, 16 and the coupling housing axis of rotation 59.In addition, axial and radial displacement compensation is possible. The rigidity is due to the use of metallic material. Damping properties in the conventional toothed couplings are virtually absent. In general, tooth couplings are largely made of metallic materials. Because of the material, these therefore have a high torsional rigidity and a very low damping capacity between the toothed coupling half facing the drive and the toothed coupling half facing the drive output. The high stiffnesses and low damping properties can have a negative effect on the vibration behavior of the overall transmission in certain drive configurations. In particularly sensitive drives, there is a requirement for adaptation of the rigidity for the targeted adaptation of the natural frequencies of the drive, wherein the original installation space of the clutch within the drive system must remain, i.e. a high power density is demanded in many cases. The use of purely elastic couplings, for example wedge pack couplings or link couplings, is not possible, since the elastic coupling plane has a significantly lower power density due to the material used and the required displacement capability and must therefore be designed larger in order to transmit the required torque and to compensate for the displacements occurring.A disadvantage is also that the toothed couplings do not have electrically insulating properties between the toothed coupling halves of the drive and of the drive. Thus, in a further development of the entire clutch technology, there is a requirement many times for an electrical insulation effect of clutches. The publication WO 2013 / 041 082 A1 describes an elastic, one-piece wedge pack ring. The wedge packet ring 40 shown in FIG. 3 comprises at least several metal fastening elements 21 and 22 which are arranged in a ring-encircling manner and are shaped in a wedge-shaped manner and which are arranged in a ring-encircling manner and each have a continuous bore 24, 25 which is directed radially to the ring axis, wherein the continuous bores 24, 25 are provided for at least one radially directed screw connection which can be carried out and is directed from the ring outer region 37 to the ring inner region 36 for fastening the fastening elements 21, 22 on two matched coupling parts, wherein an elastic, rubber-like vulcanized-on spring element 41 is respectively present between the fastening elements 21 and 22 which are arranged in a ring-encircling manner and is fastened in a vulcanized-on manner to the adjacent metal fastening elements 21 and 22 which are shaped in a wedge-shaped manner in a vulcanizing process, so that an arrangement in a ring-encircling manner alternately of the metal wedge packet elements 21 and 22 and the elastic spring elements 41 introduced in alternation forms a wedge packet ring 40 which is produced in a vulcanizing process. From DE 198 55 593 A1, an arcuate toothed coupling is known, which has a first internally toothed coupling part, which can be mounted with a hub in a rotationally fixed manner on a drive shaft, and a second internally toothed coupling part, which can be mounted with a hub in a rotationally fixed manner, and a hollow cylindrical middle part, which connects the first and second coupling parts and has at each of its two ends a spherical external toothing which is convex on the circumference in the axial direction and engages in an internal toothing of the corresponding coupling parts. The coupling parts are sealed with respect to fixed housing parts and by shaft seals.Furthermore, DE 1 208 565 A discloses a toothed coupling for connecting two shaft ends, in which one coupling half is designed as a sleeve in which the one shaft end and the second coupling half are accommodated by drive connections, and in which the second coupling half connected to the other shaft end is supported on a part of the sleeve via a spring. The sleeve opening is closed by an end ring which surrounds the second coupling half and is connected to the sleeve, wherein the end ring provided on the sleeve has an axially inwardly projecting annular rib.In addition, DE 198 37 942 A1 discloses an arcuate toothed coupling having a first internally toothed coupling part which can be mounted with a hub in a rotationally fixed manner on a drive shaft, and having a second internally toothed coupling part which can be mounted with a hub in a rotationally fixed manner on a drive shaft, and having a central part which connects the first and second coupling parts and has, at each of its two ends, a convex external toothing which engages in the internal toothing of the corresponding coupling parts. Seals are arranged between the coupling parts and the central part, wherein the central part has in the region of the coupling parts in each case a coaxial, cylindrical guide surface on which in each case an inner sealing element of a seal is guided in an axially displaceable manner, while an outer sealing element is connected to the associated coupling part.DE 298 08 627 U1 discloses an arcuate toothed clutch for drive systems of rail vehicles, comprising two clutch hubs mounted in a rotationally fixed manner on one shaft end each, each having a straight toothing, and a clutch sleeve having arcuate toothings at the end, which are in engagement with the two straight toothings of the clutch hubs. The clutch sleeve has at each end a radial flange carrying the arc toothing, wherein limit stops for the offset movements of the clutch sleeve are arranged on one of the clutch hubs. And also known from US 2 737 033 A is a flexible clutch for connecting a driving and a driven element, the clutch comprising an externally toothed gear structure connected to one of the elements and having a tooth contact pitch circle, an internally toothed gear structure connected to the other element and having a tooth contact pitch circle slightly larger than the pitch circle of the externally toothed gear. The teeth are loosely fitted into each other of the gear structures to provide a radial clearance therebetween. Also, there is a corrugated elastic member fitted to the clearance and contacting the sides of the teeth of the toothed structures substantially at the respective pitch circles. The invention is based The external teeth 9, 10 of the coupling parts 3, 4 and the internal teeth 11, 12 of the coupling housing 2 form in the coupling housing parts 5, 6 in each case a curved entrainment tooth 13, 14 which is sealed and protected by the elastic sealing element 18, 47 and in which, in accordance with a relative movement between the coupling parts 3, 4 and the coupling housing parts 5, 6 with respect to one another, the internal teeth 11, 12 and the external teeth 9, 10 can also be moved relative to one another. The relative movement arises as a result of axial and / or angular deflections of the coupling parts 3, 4 with respect to the coupling housing parts 5, 6.On the inner sides 19, 20 between the clutch housing 2 and the clutch parts 3, 4 there is provided in each case an annular disk-shaped cover 45, 46 which protects the driving tooth arrangements 13, 14 and the associated free space 17, 65-a first cover 45 and a second cover 46.Between the coupling housing 2 or the coupling housing parts 5, 6 and each associated coupling part 3, 4, the elastic sealing element 18, 47 fastened to the two coupling parts 3, 4 on the one hand and coupling housing parts 5, 6 on the other hand can be arranged as an axially directed corrugated tube which both seals the associated arched driving toothing 13, 14 and resiliently adjusts a predefined position of the coupling housing 2. The first corrugated tube 18 and the second corrugated tube 47 are made of a metallic material.Instead of the corrugated tubes 18, 47, other elastic metallic sealing elements sealing off the entrainment connection 13, 14 can also be introduced.FIG. 4 ashows a schematic longitudinal sectional representation of the tooth coupling 30 according to the invention largely similar to FIG. 4 with tooth coupling halves 27, 28 in a dynamic state, which are directly connected to one another on the inner sides 19, 20 of the respective coupling housing parts 5, 6 by means of the annular elastic composite element 29 including the elastic element 35, in order to represent the angular displacement occurring at the displacement angle δ.Similar to FIG. 2, the relative movement between the clutch housing parts (sleeves) 5, 6 is indicated by the deflection of the clutch parts 3, 4 (hubs) with respect to one another, as shown in FIG. 4 a, wherein the relative movement is shown by a deflection / displacement angle δ between the clutch part axes of rotation 15, 16 and the clutch housing axis of rotation 59.Thus, with the toothed coupling 30, an axial displacement compensation and a radial displacement compensation as well as an angular displacement compensation are possible. The rigidity is present due to the use of metallic material. However, one advantage of the toothed coupling 30 according to the invention is that, by using the elastic element 35, the oscillations occurring between the toothed coupling halves 27, 28 can be damped at all compared to the toothed couplings 1 of the prior art without the elastic element 35 and a specific adaptation of the rigidity and an electrical insulation become possible. In general, tooth couplings are largely made of metallic materials. The elastic composite element 29 with the vulcanized-on elastic element 35 can be arranged at the following positions of coupling parts 3, 4 and coupling housing parts 5, 6 of the tooth coupling halves 27, 28 of the tooth coupling 30, namely betweenthe first sleeve 5 of the first toothed coupling half 27 and the second sleeve 6 of the second toothed coupling half 28, as shown in FIG. 4, orthe first hub 3 of the first toothed coupling half 27 and the second hub 4 of the second toothed coupling half 28 orthe first sleeve 5 of the first toothed coupling half 27 and the second hub 4 of the second toothed coupling half 28 orthe second sleeve 6 of the second toothed coupling half 28 and the first hub 3 of the first toothed coupling half 27.The latter three possibilities of the positions of hubs 3, 4 and sleeves 5, 6 are not shown. The elastic element 35 can be configured annularly as a disk between two metallic disk-shaped side elements 33, 34 (FIGS. 4 and 4 a, 5, 10) or as an axially extended cylindrical ring between two metallic axially extended side elements 53, 54 (FIG. 6 ) or as an elastic, rubber-like vulcanized-on spring element 41 (FIGS. 7, 8, 9 ) directed and shaped in a wedge-shaped manner toward the coupling axis 59 and introduced between two adjacent fastening elements 21, 22 configured as side elements.FIG. 5 shows a longitudinal sectional view, enlarged compared to FIG. 4, of the elastic composite element 29 with two metallic annular side elements 33, 34-the first side element 33 and the second side element 34-and the annular disc-like elastic element 35 vulcanized on the wall-both side therebetween. Threaded bores 38, 39-first threaded bores 38 and second threaded bores 39-are introduced on both sides of the lateral elements 33, 34, which threaded bores are provided for the screw connections 31 and 32 of the composite element 29 on the flanges 42, 43 of the coupling housing parts 5 and 6.A schematic illustration in the half longitudinal section of a second toothed coupling 50 according to the invention with two connected toothed coupling halves 27, 28 is shown in FIG. 6, wherein the elastic composite element 29 is arranged in the axial direction as a rubber bushing with the embedded vulcanized-on cylindrical elastic element 35 between the two toothed coupling halves 27, 28 firmly connected to one another. The fixed connection is effected by screw connections 49 in the threaded bores 48 between the two flanges 42, 43 of the coupling housing parts 5 and 6. Here too, the inserted elastic element 35 is vulcanized onto the axially directed first side element 53-flange bushing outer part-and the axially directed second side element 54-bushing inner part. However, a direct vulcanization of the elastic element 35 onto the sleeve 6 can also be provided. In another embodiment (not shown), there can also be an identical configuration of the toothed coupling 50 with the axially incorporated elastic element 35.FIG. 7 shows a schematic illustration, drawn in half longitudinal section, of a third toothed coupling 60 according to the invention having two connected toothed coupling halves 27, 28, the elastic composite element 29 being arranged in the radial direction as an elastic coupling with a wedge packet ring 40 between the two toothed coupling halves 27, 28.
