FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to a shoulder belt adjusting mechanism and a child seat equipped therewith.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONA height of a headrest of a conventional child seat is configured to be adjustable for children of different sizes. However, a height of a shoulder belt of the conventional child seat cannot be adjusted according to a height or a height of a child, which affects seating comfort and safety when a child is seated on the conventional child seat.In addition, there is another conventional child seat that enables the height of a headrest and a shoulder belt to be adjusted. When a child is seated on this child seat, the height of the headrest and the shoulder belt can be adjusted separately according to the size of the child seated thereon. However, an adjusting operation of the headrest and the shoulder belt is complicated. If the height of the headrest and the shoulder belt do not coincide with each other, repeated adjustment is required, which is impractical in use.Therefore, it is necessary to configure a shoulder belt adjusting mechanism for adjusting a size of a shoulder belt by simple operation.US 2012 / 0 313 413 A1 describes a child seat comprising a seat shell having a backrest portion, a headrest adjustable along a front side of the backrest portion, a shoulder belt, and a plate mounted on the front side.U.S. Pat. No. 6,688,685 B2 discloses a child vehicle seat comprising a seat shell and a restraining belt with shoulder belt sections. A belt control unit is disposed on the surface of the rear side of the seat pan to be adjustably movable to move the shoulder belt portions up and down.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of this, it is an object of the present invention to provide a shoulder belt adjustment mechanism and a child seat provided therewith, which can adjust a height of a shoulder belt and a headrest simultaneously to adjust a different size of children seated thereon.This object is achieved by a shoulder belt adjusting mechanism and a child seat equipped therewith according to claims 1 and 13.As will become more apparent from the following detailed description, the claimed shoulder belt adjustment mechanism includes for adjusting a height of at least one shoulder belt of a child seat. The child seat includes a seat body, a headrest, and at least one shoulder belt. The headrest is connected to the seat body so as to be movable up and down. The shoulder belt adjusting mechanism includes at least one adjusting member connected to the seat body and abutting against the headrest so as to move up and down relative to the seat body together with the headrest. A first through hole is formed on at least one adjusting member, and an end of the at least one shoulder belt passes through the first through hole on the at least one adjusting member and extends to a front side of the headrest.Preferably, the lateral protection block comprises a base, a mounting wall and a connecting wall. A contact surface is formed on one side of the base. The installation wall and the connection wall protrude from the other side of the base and are opposite to each other. The lateral guard block is pivotally connected to the lateral wing by the connecting wall. FIG. 1 is a schematic illustration of a child seat 800 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the child seat 800 at another position according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of the child seat 800 without illustrating a headrest 200 according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a schematic illustration of the child seat 800 from a rear perspective according to the embodiment of the present invention. The child seat 800 includes a seat body 100, the headrest 200, a headrest adjustment mechanism 300, two shoulder belts 400, a shoulder belt adjustment mechanism 500, a crotch belt 600, and an adjustment belt 700. The headrest 200 is connected to the seat body 100 so as to be movable up and down. The headrest adjustment mechanism 300 is disposed on the headrest 200. Reference is made to FIGS. 8 and 9. FIG. 9 is a diagram of the headrest 200, a guide member 340, and two adjusting members 520 of the child seat 800 according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 9 is a partial view of the headrest 200, the guide member 340, and the two adjusting members 520 of the child seat 800 according to the embodiment of the present invention. As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 9, the headrest adjustment mechanism 300 includes an operation member 310, two connection members 320, two engagement members 330, and the guide member 340. The child seat 800 further includes two engagement frames 350 disposed on the seat body 100. The headrest adjustment mechanism 300 is engaged with the two engagement frames 350 on the seat body 100 to adjust a height of the headrest 200. In particular, the seat body 100 comprises a seat portion 110 and a backrest portion 120. In this embodiment, the seat portion 110 and the backrest portion 120 may be integrally formed. In another embodiment, the seat portion 110 and the backrest portion 120 may be two separate members that are connected together. The headrest 200 is connected to an upper end of the backrest portion 120 so as to be movable up and down. The two shoulder belts 400 each extend from a left side and a right side of a lower part of the headrest 200 to a front side of the seat body 100. The crotch belt 600 is connected to the two shoulder belts 400 to form a Y-shaped structure for protecting a child seated on the child seat 800. A lower end of the step belt 600 is removably connected to the seat portion 110, and an upper end of the step belt 600 extends upward to the front side of the seat portion 110. In another embodiment, the lower end of the crotch belt 600 may be fixed to the seating portion 110. An inner fastener is disposed on the upper end of the crotch belt 600, and an outer fastener is disposed on each of the pair of shoulder belts 400, so that it is easy to fasten or release a child on the child seat 800 by engagement or disengagement of the outer fastener and the inner fastener.The shoulder belt adjusting mechanism 500 includes a fixing member 510 and the two adjusting members 520. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the fixing member 510 is disposed between the backrest portion 120 and the headrest 200. The fixing element 510 is rod-shaped. Two ends of the rod-shaped fixing member 510 are respectively fixedly connected to a left side and a right side of a front side of the seat back 120. The two shoulder straps 400 are connected to the fixation member 510. Specifically, two ends of each of the two shoulder belts 400 pass through a front side and a rear side of the fixing member 510 from top to bottom, so that the two shoulder belts 400 are disposed around the fixing member 510.As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, the two adjusting members 520 are connected to one side of the backrest portion 120 toward the front side of the seat body 100. Specifically, two guide slots 121 are formed symmetrically on the backrest portion 120 along a vertical direction. The two adjusting members 520 are disposed on the front side of the seat body 100. A guide block 521a projects from each of the two adjusting members 520 and toward the corresponding guide slot 121, as shown in Fig. 11. The two guide blocks 521 aare connected to the two guide slots 121, so that the two adjusting members 520 are slidably connected to the backrest portion 120.As illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8, a central portion of the lower part of the headrest 200 protrudes downward, and the guide member 340 is connected thereto. The through slots 210 are formed between the rod-shaped guide member 340 and the lower part of the headrest 200. The two adjusting members 520 are respectively positioned at a left side and a right side of the guide member 340. As illustrated in FIG. 6, an upper end and a lower end of each of the two adjusting members 520 abut on the headrest 200, and are movable relative to the seat body 100 together with the headrest 200. As illustrated in FIG. 11, each of the individual members 520 includes a fixing portion 521, and a first positioning portion 522 and a second positioning portion 523. The first positioning portion 522 and the second positioning portion 523 are connected to both sides of the fixing portion 521. The fixing portion 521 is disposed between the seat body 100 and the guide member 340. The guide block 521 ais disposed on a side facing the seat body 100 of the fixing portion 521. The first positioning portion 522 protrudes from an upper end of the fixing portion 521 toward the front side of the seat body 100 along an upper side of the guide member 340. The second positioning portion 523 protrudes from a lower end of the fixing portion 521 and toward the front side of the seat body 100 along a lower side of the guide member 340. As a result, each of the two adjusting elements 520 is U-shaped. The U-shapes of the two adjusting members 520 correspond to a shape of the guide member 340. As illustrated in FIG. 6, the first positioning portion 522 and the second positioning portion 523 abut on the upper side and the lower side of the guide member 340, respectively. The first positioning portion 522 and the second positioning portion 523 abut on the headrest 200, respectively, so that the two adjusting members 520 are operated to move up and down simultaneously by the headrest 200.As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 11, a first through hole 522 aand a second through hole 522 bare sequentially formed on the first positioning portion 522 from front to rear. The first through hole 522 aallows an end of each shoulder belt 400 disposed around the fixing member 510 and passing through the front side of the fixing member 510 to pass through and extend to the front side of the seat body 100. The second through hole 522 ballows the other end of each shoulder belt 400 disposed around the fixing member 510 and passing through the rear side of the fixing member 510 to pass through and extend to a rear side of the seat body 100. In addition, two first through holes 122 are formed on the seat body 100 to allow the other end of each shoulder belt 400 to extend toward the rear side of the seat body 100. In another embodiment, the first through hole 522 aand the second through hole 522 bmay be formed from top to bottom or from left to right as long as the two ends of each of the two shoulder belts 400 do not interfere with each other when the two ends of each of the two shoulder belts 400 extend to the front side and the rear side of the seat body 100.As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, a second through hole 111 is formed on a central portion of a front side of the seat portion 110. The other ends of the two shoulder belts 400 extending out of the two first through holes 122 are connected to the adjusting belt 700. The adjusting belt 700 extends to the front side of the seat body 100 through the second through hole 111. By adjusting a length of the adjusting strap 700, it is easy to firmly or loosely adjust the two shoulder straps 400 and the crotch strap 600, thus enabling a child to sit more comfortably.As illustrated in FIG. 3, the two engagement frames 350 are disposed on a left side and a right side of the front side of the seat back 120 of the seat body 100. As illustrated in FIG. 10, an engagement slot 351 is formed on each of the two engagement frames 350 along the vertical direction and toward a lateral side. The two engagement slots 351 of the two segment elements 350 are arranged opposite one another. A plurality of engaging holes 352 are formed on a bottom side of each of the two engaging slits 351. The both ends of the guide member 340 are inserted into the both engaging slots 351, respectively, to thereby guide the headrest 200 to move relative to the seat body 100 when the guide member 340 moves along the engaging slots 351. Thereby, the headrest 200 is restrained to move only relative to the seat body 100 along the vertical direction.As illustrated in FIGS. 7 to 10, the operating member 310 is movably disposed on an upper side of the headrest 200. The two connecting elements 320 connect the actuating element 310 and the two engagement elements 330. The guide member 340 has a hollow structure. The two engaging members 330 are movably disposed in a chamber of the hollow guide member 340 so as to selectively engage with or disengage from the corresponding engaging holes 352. By operating the operating member 310, the two link members 320 move the two engaging members 330 to retract into the guide member 340 to disengage from the corresponding engaging holes 352, thereby allowing the headrest 200 to appropriately move up and down relative to the backrest portion 120 to adjust the height of the headrest 200. In this embodiment, seven engaging holes 352 are formed on each of the two engaging frames 350. However, the number of the engaging holes 352 is not limited to this embodiment. It depends on practical design requirements, and more than one engaging aperture 352 is preferably formed on each of the two engaging frames 350.Preferably, the headrest adjustment mechanism 300 further comprises two elastic members 360 disposed in the chamber of the hollow guide member 340, as illustrated in FIG. 9. Two ends of each of the two elastic members 360 abut on the respective engagement member 330 and an inner wall of the guide member 340, so that the two engagement members 340 are biased to protrude from the guide member 340.As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 11, the operation principle of the shoulder belt adjustment mechanism 500 will be described as follows.Each of the two shoulder belts 400 passes through the front side and the rear side of the fixing member 510 from top to bottom, so that the two shoulder belts 400 are disposed around the fixing member 510. The end of each of the two shoulder belts 400 passes through the corresponding first through hole 522 aand extends to the front side of the seat body 100 via the corresponding through slot 210. The other end of each of the pair of shoulder belts 400 passes through the second through hole 522 band extends to the rear side of the seat body 100 via the corresponding first through hole 122. One end of the crotch belt 600 is removably connected to the seat portion 110. The other end of the crotch belt 600 extends upward from the front side of the seat body 100. The crotch belt 600 is connected to the two shoulder belts 400 extending toward the front side of the seat body to form a Y-shaped structure for protecting a child seated on the child seat 800. The other ends of the two shoulder belts 400 extending toward the rear side of the seat body 100 are connected to one end of the shoulder belt 700. The other end of the shoulder belt 700 passes through the second through hole 111 and extends to the front side of the seat body 100. By adjusting the length of the adjusting strap 700, it is easy to firmly or loosely adjust the two shoulder straps 400 and the crotch strap 600, thus enabling a child to sit more comfortably.By operating the operating member 310, the two connecting members 320 move the two engaging members 330 to retract into the chamber of the hollow guide member 340, and compress the two elastic members 360 to deform. At this moment, the headrest 200 is allowed to move up and down relative to the backrest portion 120. When the headrest 200 moves because the adjusting members 520 abut on the headrest 200, the two adjusting members 520 are moved to move toward the headrest 200 simultaneously. During the above-mentioned sequence, the positions of the two shoulder belts 400 are not movable, but parts from which the two shoulder belts 400 extend out of the first through holes 522 aare changed. When the headrest 200 moves to a desired position, the two shoulder belts 400 simultaneously move to the respective positions so that the height of the two shoulder belts 400 matches the height of the headrest 200. Thereafter, the operating member 310 is released so that the two elastic members 360 recover their original position and move the two engaging members 330 to protrude from the guide member 340 and to engage with the corresponding engaging holes 352.In contrast to the prior art, the end of each of the two shoulder belts of the child seat of the present invention disposed around the fixing member passes through the first through hole of the adjusting member and extends toward the front side of the seat body. The ends of the two shoulder straps are connected to the crotch strap to protect a child. Each of the two adjusting members is operated to adjust a height of the respective shoulder belt when a height of the headrest is adjusted. When the headrest is positioned at a desired height, the height of the two shoulder belts coincides with the height of the headrest, and it is not necessary to repeatedly adjust the height of the headrest and the height of the shoulder belts. Thereby, the shoulder belt adjusting mechanism has advantages such as simple structure and easy operation, so that the child seat of the present invention can be adapted to children having a different size.
Claims
A shoulder belt adjustment mechanism (500) for adjusting a height of at least one shoulder belt (400) of a child seat (800), the child seat (800) comprising a seat body (100), a headrest (200) and the at least one shoulder belt (400), - wherein the headrest (200) is connected to the seat body (100) such that it can move up and down, - wherein the shoulder belt adjustment mechanism (500) comprises at least one adjustment element (520) connected to the seat body (100) and abutting against the headrest (200) so as to move up and down together with the headrest (200) relative to the seat body (100), - a first through hole (522a) formed on the at least one adjusting member (520), - an end of the at least one shoulder belt (400) passes through the first through hole (522a) and extends to the front side of the headrest (200), - an engagement slot (351) is formed on the engagement frame (350), - the at least two engagement openings (352) are formed on a bottom side of the engagement slot (351), - an end of the guide member (340) is inserted into the engagement slot (351), and - wherein the end of the guide member (340) moves along the engagement slot (351) when the headrest (200) moves relative to the seat body (100).
