Description

[0001] The invention relates to a locking fitting for a frame / panel combination and a frame / panel combination with such a locking fitting.

[0002] DE 10 2010 060 722 A1 discloses a generic prior art. The locking fitting disclosed in this document comprises a locking device with an energy storage mechanism, which is arranged on the frame, and a corresponding connecting fitting on a furniture panel, in particular on a front panel, which can be pulled toward the front panel using a catch lever, acted upon by the energy storage mechanism. A manually operable release lever is provided. This frame has proven itself in practice, but it is desirable to create a locking fitting with a simply constructed and well-functioning adjustment option for adjusting the lateral alignment of the connecting fitting relative to the locking device.

[0003] The invention aims to solve this problem.

[0004] The invention solves this problem by the subject matter of claims 1, 13 and 14.

[0005] The invention provides, according to claim 1, a locking fitting for a frame / panel combination, with a locking device for a frame for interaction with a connecting fitting for a panel to be locked to the frame, with the following features: - a basic body consisting of one or more elements, - the locking device further comprises an adjusting device for laterally adjusting the connecting fitting perpendicular to the locking device and to the base body, - the adjustment device has a bearing point in which an adjustment element is rotatably mounted, which has projections on both sides with several pairs of associated axial steps with which the lateral adjustment can be realized.

[0006] The adjustment device designed in this way has a simple and compact structure and enables a simple lateral relative movement between the connecting fitting on the panel and the locking device on the frame.

[0007] According to a further option, it can be provided that the adjusting element, which can be designed, for example, as an adjusting wheel, has lateral - essentially cylindrical - projections on its two end faces which extend in opposite directions, on the outer circumference of which the axial steps are arranged and which project laterally axially from openings in the base body.

[0008] It is then advantageous and enables a step-by-step lateral adjustment in a simple manner if, when the adjusting element is rotated, different pairs of axial steps belonging together come to rest on the inside on webs of the adjusting device that are spaced apart from one another, wherein it can then preferably also be provided that the webs rest on the outside of the projections axially outside the axial steps with a lower edge.

[0009] It is further advantageous if different pairs of axial steps belonging to one another are each axially differently aligned relative to the bearing point and / or if different pairs of axial steps belonging to one another have a constant overall axial external dimension which corresponds to the internal dimension of the webs of the connecting fitting and such that pairs of axial steps belonging to one another in the circumferential direction around the projections are axially differently aligned to the right and left relative to the bearing point.

[0010] According to a further variant, at least three main functional elements which are at least limitedly movable are provided on the base body: a release lever, a catch lever and an energy accumulator, wherein the catch lever and the release lever are movable in parallel planes and, when viewed perpendicular to these planes, are at least partially aligned with one another, wherein one end of the energy accumulator passes through a bore in the base body and the other through an elongated hole in the base body base plate arrangement in which it is displaceable, and wherein the other end of the energy accumulator, when moved in the elongated hole of the base body, further moves the catch lever into a locking position when the energy accumulator is released.

[0011] This detachable locking device has a compact design and, when installed, automatically pulls the panel securely towards a frame.

[0012] Also provided are a panel / frame combination with a locking fitting according to one of the claims related thereto and a drawer with at least one panel and with a frame and with a panel / frame combination with a locking fitting according to one of the claims related thereto.

[0013] Further advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.

[0014] The invention is described in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawings. [0015] In Fig. 1 shows a piece of furniture 1 with a furniture body 2 with side walls 3. In the furniture body 2, between the side walls 3, several drawers 4, 5, 6 - here purely as an example - are placed, which are guided on the inside of the side walls 3 relative to the furniture body 2 by means of pull-out guides (not shown here), so that each of the drawers 4, 5, 6 can be pulled out of the furniture body 2 into an open position and pushed out again into a closed position.

[0016] One or more of the drawers 4, 5 and 6 have (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 in conjunction) preferably has a front panel 7a or 7b (here in two different vertical heights), two (side) frames 8 parallel to each other (of which in Fig. 2), a rear wall 9 and a base 10. The Fig. The drawer 5 shown in Figure 2 has the front panel 7a - here a vertically relatively flat front panel.

[0017] The frame 8 has (see Fig. 2) has a main extension direction X. This direction X is also the direction in which the drawer can be inserted into and pulled out of the furniture body 3. The Fig. 1 vertical direction is the direction Y - in which the width of the frame 8 is measured - and the other vertical direction in the usual installation position is the direction Z.

[0018] The frames 8 - see Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 - are preferably each constructed with two shells and have an inner shell 11 and an outer shell 12. The inner shell 11 and the outer shell 12 each enclose a narrow cavity 13. A single-shell construction with a corresponding cavity would also be conceivable.

[0019] Preferably - but not necessarily - the outer shell 12 and the inner shell 11 consist of a metal, in particular steel sheets, or of a light metal, in particular of aluminum or an aluminum alloy.

[0020] It is further preferred that the outer shell 12 and the inner shell 11 form a very narrow frame 8, the cavity 13 of which is preferably narrower than 15 mm. The invention to be explained below can be used advantageously especially with such narrow frames 8.

[0021] The front panels 7a, b are each mounted and held on the two frames 8 with at least one panel locking fitting, consisting of a connecting fitting 15 attached to the front panel and a locking device 14 arranged and attached to the frame 8 ( Fig. 4 to 10).

[0022] The Fig. The frame 8 shown in Figure 2 therefore has the Fig. 4 ff or those in the Fig. 11ff, which is designed to first engage behind the connecting fitting 15 on the front panel 7a when the front panel 7a or b is attached to the frame 8, then to pull it up to the frame 8 and then to hold it firmly - but again releasably - locked to it. This is shown in the Fig. 6 to 10 are shown in several consecutive steps.

[0023] Since the frame 8 is designed to be relatively narrow in the Y direction and, at least in variants, also relatively flat vertically, it is necessary to create a locking device 14 that is designed to be correspondingly compact but nevertheless safe and well-functioning.

[0024] This is implemented with the locking device 14 to be described below, which is designed to engage behind the connecting fitting 15 and secure it to the frame 8.

[0025] First, let us briefly consider the connecting fitting 15. The connecting fitting 15 has a panel support 16 - see Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 - which can be fastened to the side of the front panel 7a facing the frame 8 using one or more fastening means (not shown here), such as screws. Furthermore, two parallel webs 17 extending in the direction of the frame 8 are provided on the panel support 16, which are connected to one another by a bolt 18. The bolt 18 is spaced from the panel support 16, so that a free space is formed between them. Here, the bolt 18 is the element to be engaged behind by the locking device 14.

[0026] This design of the connecting fitting 15 is preferred, but is not mandatory, but can be varied as long as an element that can be engaged behind by the locking device 14 is provided on the panel support 16 or the front panel 7a, b itself.

[0027] The locking device 14 is attached to a support element 19 ( Fig. 4) of the frame 8 as an abutment. The connecting fitting 15 is further adjustable in position (Y and / or Z direction) relative to the locking device 14 using an adjustment device 50.

[0028] The support element 19 here is a frame adapter, which is also designed as a sheet metal part, and which can be secured to the frame 8, for example, in its cavity 13, e.g., to the inner shell 11 or the outer shell 12. The support element 19 can also be designed as a single piece with the frame 8. It serves as an abutment for the locking device 14 on the frame 8.

[0029] A base body, in this case a base plate assembly with two base plates 20, 21, is attached to the support element 19. The base plates 20, 21 extend parallel to one another in sections and are spaced apart from one another. Here, they are angled at one or more edges. Here, the base plates 20, 21 are located on both sides of the support element 19 and are adjustably attached thereto by fastening means 22 and the lateral adjustment device 50.

[0030] The base plates 20, 21 both protrude in sections over the support element 19 in the direction of the front panel 7a or here the connecting fitting 15, so that a slot 23 is formed between them ( Fig. 4). Instead of two (or more) base plates 20, 21, the base plate arrangement could also comprise a single base plate or more than two base plates. However, the design with two base plates 20, 21 is preferred, as the elements to be described below are held and guided well and securely on them. The base plates 20, 21 are connected to one another by fastening means such as rivets or the like (reference numeral 22) to form a flat base plate arrangement with the slot 23. According to one variant, they are arranged adjustably on the support element 19, or according to another variant, they are fixed—i.e., not adjustable—positioned.

[0031] In addition to the base plate(s) 20, 21 as the basic body, the locking device 14 has three main functional elements arranged on the base plate arrangement which are at least limitedly movable relative to the latter: - a single or multi-part release lever 24, - a catch lever 25, and - a force accumulator, here in the form of a spring element 26.

[0032] The release lever 24 is arranged on one outer side of the base plate assembly, and the catch lever 25 is arranged on the other side or between the base plates 20, 21 of the plate assembly in the slot 23. Here, the catch lever 25 is located in the slot 23. This allows these levers 24, 25 to rotate and / or translate on these sides. They are thus compactly arranged in a small space. In the side view - see e.g. Fig. 7a - the release lever 24 and the catch lever 25 are thus partially overlapping each other.

[0033] The energy accumulator 26 serves to store and release energy and to apply force to the release lever 24 and the catch lever 25. It can be designed in various ways, a preferred and advantageous embodiment being described below.

[0034] The energy accumulator 26 is Fig. 4 to 10 are each designed as a spiral spring arrangement, which is very advantageous but again not mandatory.

[0035] This energy storage device 26 as a spiral spring arrangement forms a particularly advantageously designed energy storage device for applying force to the locking devices, in particular according to the attached figures, but also forms an independent invention and is therefore advantageously suitable as an energy storage device for use on fittings of various types, in particular on furniture fittings.

[0036] The spiral spring arrangement comprises a spiral spring 28 (see also Fig. 5), here a wire bending spring, which has a U-shaped basic form with two longitudinal legs 29, 30. These longitudinal legs can be connected to each other via a bend 31 (see Fig. 5 and Fig. 6). However, it is also conceivable that the longitudinal legs 29, 30 are not connected to each other, so that the spiral spring 28 is not designed in one piece but in several pieces (not shown here).

[0037] The bend 31 and the longitudinal legs 29, 30 extend largely in one plane. This plane runs parallel to the base plate assembly—here, to the base plates 20, 21 in the X / Z plane. The bending spring 28 is thus very compactly housed parallel to the base plate assembly. It lies essentially on the outside of the base plate assembly, parallel to it.

[0038] The two longitudinal legs 29, 30 of the spiral spring 28 can be compressed in the Z-direction at their free ends, whereby the spiral spring 28 stores energy, which can be released again by relaxing - ie by moving the longitudinal legs 29, 30 away from each other - in order to move the release lever 24 and the catch lever 25 in a manner to be described. The spiral spring 28 is placed in sections around a spring core 32 (see Fig. 6), which serves as a spring amplifier.

[0039] It is also conceivable that the two longitudinal legs 29, 30 are each inserted with their one end into (e.g. blind hole-like) openings of the spring core 32 and are thus held and fixed (not shown here).

[0040] The spring core 32 has a shape adapted to the shape of the curved longitudinal legs 29, 30 and enables partial support of these longitudinal legs 29, 30 over part of the length of these legs, in particular in their sections which widen and adjoin the bend 31 ( Fig. 6) or which are connected to the ends of the longitudinal legs 29, 30 which are directed towards the spring core 32.

[0041] In addition, two parallel walls 33, 34 are formed laterally on the spring core 32, between which a slot 35 is formed, in which the longitudinal legs 29, 30 are arranged over part of their length and - if present - preferably the bend 31.

[0042] In this way, the spiral spring 28 rests well protected and guided against the spring core 32. Its effect is advantageously optimized by the spring core 32. The walls 33, 34 lie parallel to the plate arrangement in the X / Z plane. The following figures show the function of the spiral spring in conjunction with a spring core. The purpose and the advantage achieved here of the spring core 32 are to guide the spiral spring 28 and to increase the energy that can be stored or stored in the spiral spring 28 compared to a spring without a core. It is conceivable to design the spring core in one or more pieces.

[0043] The physical basis for the design of the spring core 32, according to a preferred embodiment, is to preload the single- or multi-part spiral spring 28 of the energy accumulator 26 – partially or even in almost every area to or relatively close to the smallest possible elastic bending radius. This is understood here as an energy increase, since this position would not be practically usable without a spring amplifier. If this radius is exceeded, plastic deformation occurs in the spiral spring 28, whereby further energy storage is no longer possible. The spiral spring 28 is then overstretched. The spring core 32 can be conceptually described as a section of a cylinder around which the spring wire is wound and returns to its straight shape upon unwinding. The parameters required for the calculation are wire cross-section, material yield strength, and modulus of elasticity. For a material yield strength of 1100 N / mm, this results in 2, a spring diameter of 2.5 mm, an E-modulus of 185000 N / mm 2 on a wire wound around a cylinder, an inner bending radius of 208.98 mm. Alternatively, the spring core 32 can be easily designed appropriately in the test.

[0044] The radius R of the spring core 32 (see Fig. 7a and Fig. 20a) preferably corresponds to the greatest possible elastic extension of the bending spring without adverse deformation effects.

[0045] Preferably, the arcuate longitudinal legs 29, 30 are arranged parallel to the main extension direction of the frame 8 and the bend 31 of the spiral spring 28 is oriented towards the side of the locking device 14 facing away from the connecting fitting 15, so that the spiral spring 28 can be easily accommodated in the hollow space 13 of the frame 8, which is long in the X direction, on the side of the locking device facing away from the release lever 24.

[0046] The longitudinal legs 29, 30 are each bent by 90° (i.e., perpendicular to the base plate assembly) at their free ends 36, 37, which, in the assembled position on the frame 8 or on the pre-assembled drawer 4, are oriented towards the front panel 7a. One free end 36 - here the upper one - passes through a bore 38 in the base plate assembly (here the two base plates 20, 21), and the other free end 37 - here the lower one - passes through an elongated hole (or slot 39) in the base plate assembly (here the two base plates 20, 21). The bore 38 and the elongated hole 39 are vertically aligned in the Z direction (the vertical direction in the usual installed position on a drawer). The elongated hole 39 is also vertically aligned here and is located below the bore 38 in the vertical direction (Z).

[0047] Thus, one free end - here the upper end - 36 of the spiral spring is fixed in a defined position but preferably rotatably on the base plate arrangement in the bore 38, while the other - here lower free end 37 can move in the elongated hole 39 of the base plate arrangement.

[0048] The lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 also extends through a bore 40 of the release lever 24. The lower free end 37 thus serves as a rotary shaft for the release lever 24, which can rotate around the free end 37 of the spiral spring 28, which in turn can slide in the elongated hole 39. Thus, the release lever 24 can perform a superimposed rotary and translational movement on the base plate assembly.

[0049] The lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 also passes through a bore 41 of the catch lever 25, so that the latter can also perform a superimposed rotational and translational movement on the base plate assembly. The catch lever 25 also has an elongated hole 42, which is slightly curved here and located above the bore 41. This elongated hole 42 is penetrated by the other—here upper—free end 36 of the spiral spring 28. Thus, the catch lever 25 is forced into a defined rotational and translational movement (to be described in more detail) when the lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 moves in the elongated hole 39 of the base plate assembly, which carries the catch lever 25 along.

[0050] If the lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 is located at the upper end of the elongated hole 39 of the base plate assembly, the spiral spring 28 is tensioned. This position corresponds to a position in which the front panel 7 is not yet attached.

[0051] However, if the lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 is located at the lower end of the elongated hole 39 of the base plate assembly, the spiral spring 28 is in its relaxed state. This position corresponds to a position in which the front panel 7 has been secured. The catch lever 25 has a hook-like locking end 43, which then engages behind the undercut, here the bolt 18 of the connecting fitting 15, which is then inserted into a horizontally extending slot 44 in the base plate assembly, which is open toward the front panel 7a.

[0052] The release lever 24 is provided so that the bending spring 28 can be held in the tensioned position and so that it can be released from this position and also so that the bending spring 28 can be moved from the relaxed position to the tensioned position.

[0053] The release lever 24 has a torque transmission contour 45. This is not intended for direct manual movement, but rather for the attachment of a corresponding tool (example design: Phillips head and screwdriver).

[0054] The release lever 24 further has an arcuate shape, with a control contour 46 formed on the inner radius of this arc. With this control contour 46, the release lever 25, in the mounted position on the base plate arrangement, borders on a pin 47 ( Fig. 7b) which is provided on and projects from the side of the base plate assembly on which the release lever 24 is also provided.

[0055] The coordination of control contour 46 and pin 47 and the pivot bearing at the lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 in the elongated hole 39 is such that the release lever 24 can be moved with the tool into a release position in which the lower free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 lies in the elongated hole 39 of the base plate assembly at the upper end, so that the spiral spring 28 is tensioned. The control contour 46 has a cam section 48 for this purpose. When the release lever 24 is rotated into the position in which the one free end 37 of the spiral spring 28 lies at the top in the elongated hole 39 of the base plate assembly, the cam section 48 is moved into a locking direction / position. This position is a very stable position in the manner of an over-center position (here Fig. 6, Fig. 7b). An external action, a trigger, is required to release the locking device or the release lever 24 from this position.

[0056] The locking device 14 is preloaded in this state. The locking end 43 of the catch lever 25 is located outside—here above—the slot 44 for inserting the connecting fitting 15.

[0057] In this position, a free end 49 - a web 49 - of the release lever 24 is located approximately at the height of the slot 44 for inserting the connecting fitting 15. This free end 49 of the release lever 24 is dimensioned such that an edge of the connecting fitting 15 comes into contact with it when the front panel is attached ( Fig. 7a, Fig. 7b). Upon further insertion of the connecting fitting 15 or the front panel 7a or 7b, the free end 49 of the release lever 24 is moved further, so that the release lever 24 begins to rotate. During this rotation, the cam section 48 is moved in the opposite direction to that during tensioning ( Fig. 8a, Fig. 8b). This releases the assembly from the over-center position. As a result, the spring, in this case the spiral spring 28, can now relax. This in turn causes the previously described movement of the catch lever 25 into the locking position. The lower free end of the spiral spring 28 pulls the catch lever 25 downward, so that the upper end 36 of the catch lever 25 is displaced in the guide or in the elongated hole 42 of the catch lever 25.

[0058] The coordination of the elongated holes or guides and pivot bearings of the locking device 14 is such that the catch lever 25 begins to engage the undercut (here the bolt 18) of the connecting fitting 15 with its locking end 43, which, due to the action of the spiral spring 28, draws the connecting fitting 15 further toward the locking device 14 and holds it securely there. This position can be released by turning the release lever 24 back with a tool, for which the cam section 48 must again be moved over by actuating the tool.

[0059] Overall, this creates a very compact yet secure locking fitting.

[0060] The connecting fitting 15 is further adjustable laterally (in the Y direction) relative to the locking device 14 using an adjustment device 50. Additionally, an adjustment device 51 for the height (in the Z direction) may be provided.

[0061] As already described, two parallel webs 17 are provided on the panel support 16, which extend in the direction of the frame 8 and are connected to one another by the bolt 18, wherein the bolt 18 (and thus also the inner distance between the webs) is longer than the outer distance of the base plate arrangement in an area in which it engages between the webs 17.

[0062] This essentially allows the connecting fitting 15 to be displaced in the Y direction (laterally) relative to the base plate assembly. The adjustment device 50 uses this displaceability to adjust a relative position between the base plate assembly and the connecting fitting 15, i.e., to adjust a lateral alignment of the front panel 7a or 7b, which serves in particular to compensate for tolerances.

[0063] The two base plates 20, 21, which form the base plate assembly, are attached to the support element 19. The base plates 20, 21 extend parallel to each other in sections and are spaced apart from each other.

[0064] The base plates 20, 21 have aligned windows or through openings 56 below the slot 44, which serves to insert the connecting fitting (see Fig. 5). Radially laterally to these openings 56, one or more bores 57, 58 are also provided.

[0065] The adjusting device 50 has a bearing point - here advantageously but not necessarily designed as a bearing disc - 60, which is placed here in the slot 23 between the base plates 20, 21 ( Fig. 11a and Fig. 12), holes 59 ( Fig. 11a) and is fastened there to the bores 57, 58 with fastening means such as rivets or the like. The bearing disc 60 also has a lateral radial recess 61 ( Fig. 11a), which is U-shaped and forms a circular arc section at the inner end.

[0066] An adjusting wheel 62 is inserted into the recess 61, which has an annular circumferential groove 63, which is set on the inner edge of the notch 61. Thus, the adjusting wheel 62 is rotatably mounted in the bearing disc 60 (in the slot 23 of the base plate assembly) in the mounted position.

[0067] The adjustment wheel 62 has lateral, essentially cylindrical, projections 64, 65 extending in opposite directions on both of its end faces, which protrude laterally from the openings 56. The webs 17 of the connecting fitting 15 rest on these projections 64, 65, respectively.

[0068] Furthermore, different circumferential geometries are formed on the cylindrical projections 64, 65, which engage between the webs 17 and which are designed so differently that by turning the adjusting wheel 62 the webs 17 and thus the entire connecting fitting 15 can be adjusted laterally (in the Y direction) relative to the base plate arrangement and thus relative to the locking device 14 and the frame 8.

[0069] The circumferential geometries are preferably designed as axial steps 66, 67, wherein the axial steps on the right and left or in pairs complement each other such that their overall axial outer dimension corresponds to the inner dimension of the webs 17 of the connecting fitting 15 and such that the axial steps 66, 67 are stepped in pairs in the circumferential direction around the projections 64, 65, are axially aligned differently to the right and left relative to the bearing disk 60 and are partially axially offset when the adjusting wheel 62 is rotated. The axial steps 66, 67 can be axially beveled in the circumferential direction in order to facilitate the transition from one step - e.g. 66a - to the next step - e.g. 66c - during rotation.

[0070] Two, three or more axial stages can be provided.

[0071] In the exemplary embodiment, three pairs of axial steps 66a, 67a; 66b, 67b; 66c, 67c are provided in the circumferential direction. For example, then - see Fig. 11b - one of the axial steps 66a is 5 mm axially relative to the bearing disc 60 or the groove 63 laterally to the right, and the other axial step 67a is 5 mm axially relative to the bearing disc 60 or the groove 63 laterally to the left (in the +Y direction and in the -Y direction, the dimensions are purely exemplary). This corresponds to a central position and a central alignment of the connecting fitting 15 relative to the base plate arrangement ( Fig. 11a, Fig. 13, Fig. 14).

[0072] For example, the axial stage 66c, which is next in the circumferential direction / direction of rotation, extends 2 mm laterally to the right, and the other axial stage 67c extends 8 mm laterally to the left. This corresponds to an offset to the left or axially to one side of the plate arrangement. For example, the axial stage 66b, which is next in the circumferential direction, extends 2 mm laterally to the left, and the other axial stage 67b extends 8 mm laterally to the right. This corresponds to an offset to the right axially to the other side of the plate arrangement. This different axial offset of the axial stage pairs is also illustrated by the Fig. 13 and Fig. 14. Additionally, areas can be provided on the projections 64 and 65 where a complete axial step of 10 mm is present on one side of the bearing disc 60 and no axial step at all on the opposite side. Taking these settings into account, five axial pair arrangements exist.

[0073] The adjustment device 50 designed in this way can be implemented cost-effectively and allows a simple lateral adjustment of the connecting fitting 15 (also called panel support) and thus of the front panel 8 relative to the locking device 14 and to the frame 8.
