[0001] The invention relates to a ceiling-mounted extractor hood according to the preamble of claim 1. A ceiling-mounted extractor hood is defined as an extractor hood that is mounted on or in the ceiling. The extractor hood can therefore also be called a ceiling hood. Examples of such extractor hoods include ceiling fans, island hoods, and wall-mounted hoods.
