Description

[0001] The invention relates to a fireplace or stove loading device and a loading method for loading and starting a fireplace or stove with a firelighter and firewood logs.

[0002] A fireplace lighter box is known, DE 20 2015 002 976 U1, which consists of a foldable box made of bagasse dipped in paraffin and filled with fuel such as pieces of wood or biomass and which is used to light firewood stacked on top.

[0003] The main disadvantage of this well-known ignition box is that after it has been placed in a fireplace or stove, it must then be covered with firewood in order to quickly ignite a decent fire.

[0004] A box filled with firewood is also known, EP 2 080 797 A1, the firelighter of which, however, has to be lit outside the ignition box and inserted into the box while still burning through an opening in the bottom, and which is then intended to ignite the firewood at an undefined location, which may not be optimal for quickly starting a fire in the fireplace.

[0005] The object of the invention is therefore to provide a fireplace or stove loading device and a loading method which considerably simplifies and shortens the lighting of a fireplace fire.

[0006] The solution to this problem arises, in conjunction with the features of the preamble of the first patent claim, from its characterizing features in that the fireplace or stove loading device consists of a cuboid-shaped transport and storage container for the firelighter and firewood made of a self-combustible, lightweight material, with an inner base on which a hollow profile made of the combustible material is formed, in which the solid firelighter is arranged, with the firewood logs being professionally stacked above the hollow profile. This inventive fireplace or stove loading device ensures the correct lighting of a fireplace or stove, which is the basic prerequisite for combustion with the lowest possible emissions.

[0007] In the invention, lateral tabs are inserted into the hollow profile, which are pressed inwards into the hollow profile and thus, on the one hand, fix the igniter and, on the other hand, further improve the air supply to the igniter to the side of the pressed-in tabs.

[0008] Further advantageous embodiments of the subject matter of the invention result from and in combination with the following subclaims.

[0009] Preferably, the combustible material of the transport and storage container is made of paper or thin cardboard, but it can also advantageously be made of a flat and foldable, plate-like natural product in order to ensure combustion with the lowest possible pollutants even when a fire is started.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the transport and storage container, which is closed on all sides in the purchased state, is equipped on the front side with a vertical side surface which is perforated along a circumferential line of a flap, wherein the flap extends over a large part of the side surface of the transport and storage container into the area of the inner floor and the flap is designed to be easily torn out of the transport and storage container, whereby a large-area viewing opening onto the firewood logs located therein is possible.

[0011] According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the hollow profile extends up to the viewing opening, wherein in the torn-out state of the flap, the lighter held in the hollow profile is arranged at the front end of the hollow profile so that it is easily accessible and can be reached with a simple match or a lighter.

[0012] The solid-like igniter is advantageously designed in the form of a solid profile, the hollow profile and the igniter having different profile cross-sections, so that it is ensured that lateral air supply channels are maintained around the igniter in the hollow profile and that the igniter can burn through the entire fireplace or stove loading device if necessary.

[0013] Preferably, the firewood logs of different thicknesses are layered differently in the transport and storage container, with thinner firewood logs being arranged as kindling in the area of the hollow profile, followed by thicker firewood logs towards the top, which are covered by even thicker firewood logs, thus ensuring that even thicker firewood logs can be safely kindled, with the various firewood logs being optimally arranged in the transport and storage container in such a way that, due to gravity, they take on a cross-sectional structure which is approximately pyramid-shaped after the transport and storage container has burned out, thus creating an optimal and visually appealing fireplace fire without the need to add more wood in between.

[0014] Advantageously, the transport and storage container is equipped with a carrying handle on its top so that the fireplace or stove loading device is easy to handle. For each loading method for loading and starting a fireplace or stove, a fireplace or stove loading device must simply be placed in a fireplace or stove, the front flap must be torn out and placed under the device and the firelighter must be lit in order to achieve the desired result quickly, cleanly and easily.

[0015] An embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to a drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 a three-dimensional view of a transport and storage container with the flap torn out and the igniter inserted.

[0016] A fireplace or stove loading device 1 comprising a transport or storage container 3 made of a combustible material, such as paper or cardboard or bagasse or another plate-like, foldable and combustible natural product, in the form of a cuboid box with a carrying handle 10 and an inspection opening 7 formed in the front vertical side surface 6, which is formed by tearing out a flap perforated around its circumference, wherein the flap can be placed under the transport and storage container 3 before the lighter 2 is lit.

[0017] On the inner bottom 4 of the transport or storage container 3, a hollow profile 5 is formed, which extends up to the viewing opening 7, in which the lighter 2 is arranged and ends at the front with the hollow profile 5, so that it can be easily reached by a match or a lighter.

[0018] Tabs 9 are formed in the side surfaces of the hollow profile 5 and are pressed inwards in order, on the one hand, to fix the lighter 2 and, on the other hand, to ensure a further air supply to the lighter 2, which in turn has a profile cross-section that differs from the hollow profile 5, so that lateral air supply channels 8 are formed around the lighter 2 and it can be ensured that the lighter 2 can always be supplied with sufficient oxygen in order to enable optimal lighting of the fireplace fire as a basic prerequisite for combustion with the lowest possible pollutants.
