Abstract

[0002] Product display devices and separation methods of this type are known from the prior art. Using such display devices or separation methods, goods, mostly foodstuffs, are presented or temporarily stored while shielded from their surroundings. To make these goods accessible, a product cover or a separating disc, which is usually transparent, can be temporarily moved aside, preferably by sliding or lifting it. This separating disc is mounted linearly or rotatably on a guide. After the goods have been removed, the separating disc can then be returned to its original position.
