[0027] Hereinafter, a vehicle lighting device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0028] Fig. 1 is a view showing a lighting device of vehicles according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the Fig. 1 shown lighting device, Fig. 3 is a view showing another function of the lighting device of vehicles according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 4 is a sectional view of the Fig. 1 shown lighting device, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 are views showing a drive unit of the Fig. 1 shown lighting device of vehicles, Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 views showing a cam unit of the Fig. 1 shown lighting device of vehicles, and Fig. 9, Fig. 10, Fig. 11 and Fig. 12 are views illustrating that a plurality of cam units are operatively connected.

[0029] As in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the vehicle lighting device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a light source unit 100 for radiating light, a first reflection unit 200 for reflecting light incident from the light source unit to output the reflected light to the outside, a second reflection unit 300 rotatably provided between the light source unit 100 and the first reflection unit 200 to reflect light so that the light emitted from the light source unit can move to the first reflection unit 200 or to block the light so that the light is not moved to the first reflection unit 200, and to reflect the light at a position different from the first reflection unit 200 to output the light to the outside depending on its rotational position, and a drive unit 400 connected to the second reflection unit 300,to adjust the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300.,

[0030] In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the light source unit 100, the first reflection unit 200, and the second reflection unit 300 constitute a lamp module. The second reflection unit 300 is rotated by the drive unit 400, thereby changing the angle of the second reflection unit 300. As a result, the reflection position and reflection range of light emitted from the light source unit 100 are changed to realize various lamp functions.

[0031] The light source unit 100 may consist of an LED. Furthermore, a heat sink 110 may be provided to dissipate the heat generated when the light source unit 100 emits light, thereby cooling the light source unit 100.

[0032] The first reflection unit 200 includes a reflection mirror for reflecting the light incident from the light source unit 100. The first reflection unit 200 is formed to have a curvature so that the direction in which the incident light travels is changed, thus emitting the light from a vehicle.

[0033] The second reflection unit 300 is rotatably disposed between the light source unit 100 and the first reflection unit 200, and the rotational position of the second reflection unit 200 is adjusted by the drive unit 400. The second reflection unit 300 allows the light emitted from the light source unit 100 to move toward the first reflection unit 200 or blocks the movement of the light, so that the light is reflected at a different position from the first reflection unit 200 depending on its rotational position. That is, in the case where the second reflection unit 300 allows the light emitted from the light source unit 100 to move toward the first reflection unit 200, the light is reflected by the first reflection unit 200 and then emitted to the outside, thereby realizing a lamp function. In the case where the second reflection unit 300 blocks light moving to the first reflection unit 200, the light is reflected by the second reflection unit 300 and is then emitted to the outside, thereby realizing another lamp function.

[0034] In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention as described above, it is possible to realize various lamp functions by adjusting the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300.

[0035] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 4, the second reflection unit 300 may be rotatably mounted in an axis, a first rotatable reflection element 310 for reflecting light together with the first reflection unit 200 may be provided on one side of the axis, and a second rotatable reflection element 320 for reflecting light while blocking light traveling toward the first reflection unit 200 may be provided on the other side of the axis.

[0036] The first rotatable reflection member 310 is configured such that, when the first rotatable reflection member 310 is disposed on the first reflection unit 200 side by rotation of the second reflection unit 300, the first rotatable reflection member 310 reflects light together with the first reflection unit 200, whereby the first rotatable reflection member 310 and the first reflection unit 200 reflect light to be emitted to the outside. The second rotatable reflection member 320 is configured such that, when the second rotatable reflection member 320 is disposed on the first reflection unit 200, the second rotatable reflection member 320 is disposed on a moving path of the light emitted from the light source unit 100 to reflect light while blocking light traveling toward the first reflection unit 200, thereby emitting light from the vehicle from a position where the light is blocked.

[0037] The first reflection unit 200 is formed to have a curvature, and the first rotatable reflection element 310 is formed to have the same curvature as the first reflection unit 200. When the first rotatable reflection element 310 is directed outward, the first rotatable reflection element 310 forms a parabola together with the first reflection unit 200.

[0038] As from Fig. 4, when the first rotatable reflection element 310 of the second reflection unit 300 is arranged on the side of the first reflection unit 200, the first rotatable reflection element 310 and the first reflection unit 200 have the same curvature and form a parabola, whereby light emitted from the light source unit 100 can be reflected by the first rotatable reflection element 310 and the first reflection unit 200 and then emitted to the outside.

[0039] The first rotatable reflection element 310 may comprise the same reflection plate or mirror as the first reflection unit 200.

[0040] In the case where the first rotatable reflection member 310 and the first reflection unit 200 form a single reflection shape as described above, it is possible to radiate light over a wide area, thereby realizing a headlight function.

[0041] At this time, the second rotatable reflection member 320 is configured such that, when the second rotatable reflection member 320 is arranged to face outward, the second rotatable reflection member 320 is arranged on the moving path of the light emitted from the light source unit 100 to block light moving toward the first reflection unit 200 and reflect the light at the position where the light is blocked, thereby emitting the light from the vehicle.

[0042] That is, the second reflection unit 300 is disposed between the light source unit 100 and the first reflection unit 200, and the second rotatable reflection member 320 is formed to be longer than the first rotatable reflection member 310. The second rotatable reflection member 320 is positioned on the path of travel of the light emitted from the light source unit 100 when the second rotatable reflection member 320 is positioned to face outward by the rotation of the second reflection unit 300d. Consequently, the movement of the light emitted from the light source unit 100 to the first reflection unit 200 is blocked by the second rotatable reflection member 320, and when the second rotatable reflection member 320 reflects the light, the path of travel of the light is changed at the position where the movement of the light is blocked, thereby emitting the light from the vehicle.

[0043] As a result, the second rotatable reflection element 320 presents a reflection shape that differs from the reflection shape formed by the first rotatable reflection element 310 and the first reflection unit 200, thereby enabling a different lamp function to be realized. For example, a daytime running light (DRL) function can be realized.

[0044] The second rotatable reflection element 320 may include a reflective surface 321 formed to have a curvature, allowing light reflected from the reflective surface 321 to be emitted from the vehicle. Here, the reflective surface 321 may be composed of a reflective plate or a mirror, and the second rotatable reflection unit 320 may further include a lens 322 to improve the efficiency of the light reflected from the reflective surface 321.

[0045] Furthermore, a plurality of optical elements may be formed on the reflective surface 321 of the second rotatable reflection element 320. That is, the second rotatable reflection element 320 may have a reflective surface 321 with a curvature configured to emit incident light to the outside, and a plurality of optical elements may be formed on the reflective surface 321 so that the light reflected by the reflective surface 321 is completely reflected and then emitted to the outside.

[0046] The second rotatable reflection element 320 may have a narrower light discharge area than the first rotatable reflection element 310 and the first reflection unit 200, thereby realizing a daytime running light (DRL) function. When the DRL function is executed, dimming may be performed to reduce the amount of light emitted by the light source unit 100.

[0047] As in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, the drive unit 400 for adjusting the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300 includes a drive motor 410 for transmitting rotational power, a cam unit 420 configured to be rotated by the rotational force received from the drive motor 410 so as to change the angle of the cam unit, the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420 being curved, and a lever mechanism 430 provided to be in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420 so that the lever mechanism 430 is rotated while being displaced along the curved outer peripheral surface upon rotation of the cam unit 420, the lever mechanism 430 being coupled to the second reflection unit 300 so that the second reflection unit 300 is rotated.

[0048] The drive motor 410 may include a motor capable of forward and reverse rotation, and the cam unit 420 is connected to the drive motor 410 to be rotated by the rotational power received from the drive motor 410. The lever mechanism 430 is provided to be in contact with the cam unit 420, which is rotated by the operation of the drive motor 410, and the second reflection unit 300 is coupled to the lever mechanism 430. Therefore, when the drive motor 410 is operated, the lever mechanism 430 is rotated with the cam unit 420, whereby the rotation angle of the second reflection unit 300 can be adjusted.

[0049] As in Fig. 1, the drive motor 410 may be provided with a screw 410a, and the cam unit 420 may be provided with a cam gear 420a that engages with the screw 410a, whereby the rotational force can be transmitted by engagement therebetween.

[0050] As in Fig. 6, the lever mechanism 430 may further include a moving unit 431 configured to be in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420 so as to move when the cam unit 420 is rotated, and a lever unit 432 having one side coupled to the second reflection unit 300 and the other side to which the moving unit 431 is connected, the lever unit 432 being configured to be rotated to rotate the second reflection unit 300.

[0051] As described above, the lever mechanism 430 includes the moving unit 431 and the lever unit 432. The moving unit 431 is formed in the shape of a rod that contacts the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420, and the lever unit 432 is coupled to the moving unit 431 to be rotated according to the movement of the moving unit 431. The lever unit 432 and the second reflection unit 300 may be rotatably coupled to each other. As shown in Fig. 1, a lever gear 432a is provided on one side of the lever unit 432, and a corresponding gear 300a meshing with the lever gear 432a is provided on the second reflection unit 300, whereby the second reflection unit 300 can be rotated by the engagement between the gears when the lever unit 432 is rotated.

[0052] Therefore, when the cam unit 420 is rotated, the moving unit 431 of the lever mechanism 430 moves along the curved surface of the cam unit 420, and the lever unit 432 is rotated to rotate the second reflection unit 300 according to the movement of the moving unit 431. Consequently, it is possible to change the lamp functions depending on the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300.

[0053] The cam unit 420 is described in detail. As shown in the Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, the cam unit 420 may include a first drive sector 421 formed on a portion of its outer peripheral surface and configured to form a circle around the rotation center, a second drive sector 422 formed on one side of the first drive sector 421, forming a concentric circle with the first drive sector 421, and having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the first drive sector 421, and a return sector 423 formed between the first drive sector 421 and the second drive sector 422 on the other side of the first drive sector 421, forming a concentric circle with the first drive sector 421, and having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the second drive sector 422.

[0054] That is, the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420 is curved, and the lever mechanism 430 moves along the curved surface of the cam unit 420, thereby changing the rotational position of the lever mechanism 430. At the present end portion, the first drive sector 421, the second drive sector 422, and the return sector 423, which have different diameters, are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420. Consequently, the lever mechanism 430 contacts a specific one of the sectors, thereby changing the rotational position of the lever mechanism 430.

[0055] As in Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, the lever mechanism 430 is provided to be in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420. In an example, as shown in Fig. As shown in Fig. 7, the rotation angle of the cam unit 420 is 0 degrees when the lever mechanism 430 is in contact with the second drive sector 422 of the outer peripheral surface of the cam unit 420, that is, the lever mechanism 430 is not rotated. Consequently, the second rotatable reflection unit 320 of the second reflection unit 300 is located on the side of the first reflection unit 200, thereby enabling a DRL function to be performed.

[0056] When the drive unit 400 is operated to rotate the cam unit 420 in the current state as shown in Fig. 8, the lever mechanism 430 comes into contact with the first drive sector 421 of the cam unit 420. At this moment, since the diameter of the first drive sector 421 is larger than the diameter of the second drive sector 422 of the cam unit 420, the lever mechanism 430 enters the first drive sector 421 of the cam unit 420 and is thus rotated, and the second reflection unit 300 coupled to the lever mechanism 430 is also rotated, whereby the first rotatable reflection element 310 is disposed on the side of the first reflection unit 200.

[0057] The cam unit 420 further includes a switching sector 424 configured to expand while having a slope at the junction between the first drive sector 421 and the second drive sector 422. Consequently, the lever mechanism 430 can smoothly move from the first drive sector 421 to the second drive sector 422 along the slope of the switching sector 424.

[0058] Furthermore, since the return sector 423, which is formed between the first drive sector 421 and the second drive sector 422 on the other side of the first drive sector 421, forms a concentric circle together with the first drive sector 421 and has a smaller diameter than the second drive sector 422, is formed on the cam unit 420, the lever mechanism 430 can be switched to the state in which the lever mechanism 430 can enter the second drive sector 422 from the first drive sector 421.

[0059] As a result, the rotation angle of the lever mechanism 430 can be changed by rotating the cam unit 420, whereby the rotation position of the second reflection unit 300 can be changed.

[0060] As in Fig. 5, further comprises a mounting unit 500 in which the light source unit 100, the first reflection unit 200, the second reflection unit 300, and the drive unit 400 are mounted. The mounting unit 500 may be a lamp housing attached to a vehicle body, and a guide slot 510 through which the moving unit 431 of the drive unit 400 extends and which extends along the rotation radius of the lever unit 432 may be formed in the mounting unit 500.

[0061] That is, the lever mechanism 430 may include the moving unit 431 and the lever unit 432. When the cam unit 420 is rotated in the state where the moving unit 431 is fitted into the guide slot 510, the moving unit 431 moves along the guide slot 510, allowing the lever unit 432 to be accurately rotated at a predetermined rotation radius. That is, the lever mechanism 430 is mounted on the mounting unit 500 to be rotatable about an axis, and the moving unit 431 moves along the guide slot 510, allowing the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300 coupled to the lever unit 432 to be accurately moved to a predetermined position.

[0062] A plurality of light source units 100, a plurality of first reflection units 200, a plurality of second reflection units 300, and a plurality of drive units 400 may be provided to form a plurality of modules. The cam units 420 of the drive units 400 of the modules may be connected to one another via a connecting unit 600 such that when one of the cam units 420 is rotated, the other cam units 420 are also rotated. To the present end portion, the modules may be mounted in a straight line, and the connecting unit 600 may extend in a straight line to be connected to the cam units 420 of the modules.

[0063] As described above, a plurality of light source units 100, a plurality of first reflection units 200, a plurality of second reflection units 300, and a plurality of drive units 400 may be provided to form a plurality of modules, and the cam units 420 of the modules are operatively connected to each other via the connection unit 600. Therefore, when one of the cam units 420 is rotated using a single drive motor 410, the other cam units 420 can be rotated simultaneously.

[0064] That is, the drive units 400 include a single drive motor 410 connected to one of the cam units 410. Therefore, even if the drive motor 410 is operated to rotate one of the cam units 410, all the cam units 420 of the modules can be rotated at the same speed because the cam units 420 are connected to each other via the connection unit 600.

[0065] A plurality of through holes 425 are formed in each cam unit 420, and a plurality of insertion protrusions 610 are formed in the connecting unit 600, each of which is inserted into a corresponding one of the through holes 425 of each cam unit 420, whereby a plurality of cam units 420 can be connected to a single connecting unit 600. Furthermore, the insertion protrusions 610 are rotatably inserted into the through holes 425, whereby the cam units 420 and the connecting unit 600 are easily rotated relative to each other.

[0066] As in Fig. 9, a plurality of through holes 425 may be formed in the portion of each cam unit 420 so as to be spaced apart from each other in its circumferential direction, and each insertion protrusion 610 of the connecting unit 600 may be inserted into a corresponding one of the through holes 425 of each cam unit 420. Here, the insertion protrusions 610 may be sequentially inserted into through holes 425 arranged at different positions.

[0067] In the state where the modules are mounted, the insertion protrusions 610 of the connecting unit 600 connected to the cam unit 420 of each module are inserted into different through holes 425, whereby the second reflection units 300 can be rotated sequentially when the cam units 420 are rotated. That is, since the cam units 420 of the modules are mounted to have different mounting angles, when the drive unit 400 is operated, the lever mechanisms 430 in contact with the cam units 420 are rotated sequentially, and the second reflection units 300 coupled to the lever mechanisms 430 are also rotated sequentially, thereby achieving a sequential lighting effect.

[0068] That is, as in Fig. 10, the second rotatable reflection elements 320 of the second reflection units 300 are arranged on the side of the first reflection units 200, thereby realizing a spotlight function, and when one of the cam units 420 connected to the single drive motor 410 is rotated, the cam units 420 of the modules connected to each other via the connecting unit 600 are rotated simultaneously. As shown in Fig. As shown in Fig. 11, even when the cam units 420 rotate simultaneously, some of the second reflection units 300 are rotated, and some other of the second reflection units 300 are arranged on the side of the first reflection units 200, since each lever mechanism 430 is arranged on the first drive sector 421 or the second drive sector 422 of a corresponding one of the cam units 420. Furthermore, the second reflection units 300 of the modules are rotated sequentially, thereby realizing sequential illumination.

[0069] Furthermore, as in Fig. 12, the second reflection units 300 are rotated by rotation of the cam units 420, and the first rotatable reflection elements 310 are arranged on the side of the first reflection units 200, thereby realizing a DRL function.

[0070] In the vehicle lighting device configured to have the above-described structure, a plurality of cams are connected to each other to be operated collectively, and the cams are rotated using a single drive motor 410, thereby realizing various lamp functions. Furthermore, the cams are commonly used, operating performance is assured, and the design is reduced.

[0071] The vehicle lighting device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a plurality of modules, each comprising a light source unit 100 for radiating light, a first reflection unit 200 for reflecting light incident from the light source unit to output the reflected light to the outside, a second reflection unit 300 rotatably provided between the light source unit 100 and the first reflection unit 200 to reflect light so that the light emitted from the light source unit can move to the first reflection unit 200, or to block the light so that the light is not moved to the first reflection unit 200, and to reflect the light at a position different from the first reflection unit 200 to output the light to the outside depending on its rotational position, and a drive unit 400 connected to the second reflection unit 300 for adjusting the rotational position of the second reflection unit 300, wherein the drive units 400 of the modules are connected to each other via a connection unit 600, wherein the rotational positions of the second reflection units 300 are adjusted simultaneously when one of the drive units 400 is operated.

[0072] As described above, a plurality of light source units 100, a plurality of first reflection units 200, a plurality of second reflection units 300, and a plurality of drive units 400 may be provided to form a plurality of modules, and the drive units 400 of the modules are operatively connected to each other via the connection unit 600. Therefore, when one of the drive units 400 is operated, the other drive unit 400 can be rotated simultaneously, thereby adjusting the rotational positions of the second reflection units 300.

[0073] The second reflection units 300 allow the light emitted from the light source units 100 to move toward the first reflection units 200, or block the movement of the light, so that the light is reflected at positions different from the first reflection units 200 depending on their rotational positions. That is, when the second reflection units 300 allow the light emitted from the light source units 100 to move toward the first reflection units 200, the light is reflected by the first reflection units 200 and then emitted to the outside, thereby realizing a lamp function. When the second reflection units 300 block light from moving toward the first reflection units 200, the light is reflected by the second reflection units 300 and then emitted to the outside, thereby realizing another lamp function.

[0074] That is, since the modules are driven simultaneously with only a single drive unit 400, the rotational positions of the second reflection units 300 of the modules are adjusted by the single drive unit 400, thereby ensuring the operating performance, reducing the design, and realizing various lamp functions.

[0075] As can be seen from the above description, in the vehicle lighting device configured to have the above-described structure, a plurality of cams are connected to each other for collective operation, and the cams are rotated by a single drive motor, thereby realizing various lamp functions. Furthermore, the cams are used universally, operating performance is assured, and the design is reduced.
