Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a carrying apparatus for carrying an object with one hand and a method for preparing to carry an object with one hand.Household goods and many other goods are typically packaged from the factory and are purchased with retail packaging. Rectangular packaging made of cardboard is typical. Some very large carton packages, especially very bulky goods, have interventions on two sides facing away from one another, which enable carrying with two hands. Only a few packages already have a handle on the top side, which enables carrying with one hand.It is therefore common for a carrier bag to be offered in retail trade after the end of the purchase, to an increasing extent from paper for some time. However, paper is also a valuable resource which should be used as economically as possible and reused as often as possible. It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved carrier and method for preparing to carry an object. This object is achieved by the subject matters of the independent claims.Further developments are specified in the dependent claims.Embodiments of the present invention are based on the concept of not completely enclosing an object to be transported by a carrying bag, but rather merely placing a flexurally flexible ring of paper tape around the object, which ring has a suitable grip region for comfortable carrying with one hand. The support device with the flexurally flexible ring made of paper tape and the grip region is kept ready in a prefabricated manner and is selected only from one assortment before transport, wherein in the support devices of the assortment the flexurally flexible rings have different peripheries.A support device for carrying an object with one hand comprises a paper band and a grip region, wherein the support device is formed by a flexurally flexible ring of the paper band or of the paper band and the grip region, the grip region having at least either a different width or a different material than the remaining flexurally flexible ring. The carrying device is provided in particular for carrying an object purchased in retail trade in a rectangular packaging, but can also be suitable for carrying an object in a packaging of another type or shape and / or for carrying an unpackaged object. The carrying device is formed in particular by the flexurally flexible ring, i.e. has no further components, in particular no regions of large area, as are typical for a carrying bag, for example. The terms "ring" and "ring-shaped" describe primarily the topology. A ring is not meant to be a circular ring, and a ring shape is not meant to be a circular ring. Rather, the paper tape alone or the paper tape and the grip region form a body which is connected several times in mathematical terms, namely twice, and which is for example homomorphic to the torus. The paper strip has in particular a width of a few millimeters to a few centimeters. The paper band is formed in particular from recycled or predominantly from recycled paper. Furthermore, the paper tape can be designed to be wet-resistant and / or compostable. The paper tape may comprise fibers of one or more grasses or other plant fibers. The paper tape can be configured in one layer or in multiple layers, for example folded in multiple layers with folds in the longitudinal direction of the paper tape. If the paper tape is formed from paper with anisotropic properties, for example partly, predominantly or largely oriented fibers, the paper is arranged in particular such that the direction of maximum tear strength lies in the longitudinal direction of the paper tape. The flexurally flexible ring is closed in particular by an adhesive bond between two ends of the paper strip. Alternatively, two ends of the paper strip can be connected by form-fitting or frictional engagement, for example by a knot. Alternatively, the ends of the paper tape can be indirectly connected by a component originally manufactured separately.According to the typical properties of paper, the flexurally flexible ring has, in particular, a low or very low stretching elasticity or stretching flexibility, i.e. is only slightly or very slightly elastic or plastically stretchable in the circumferential direction. The grip region has in particular a width and / or a material with properties which enable comfortable wear. The grip region can be designed such that the weight of the object is distributed over a wide area on the fingers of a hand. The grip region has in particular a soft edge which avoids or reduces a linear load on the fingers which is perceived as "cutting in".In a carrying device as described here, the grip region has in particular a greater width than the remaining flexurally flexible ring. For example, the flexurally flexible ring has a width of a few mm or approximately 1 cm, while the grip region has a width in the range between 1.5 cm and 3 cm, in particular between 2 cm and 2.5 cm.This can enable comfortable and low-fatigue wearing with one hand.In a carrying device as described here, this grip region is joined to the paper strip in particular as a separately manufactured component. The grip region is mechanically permanently connected to the paper strip, in particular by means of an adhesive bond or a welded connection. Alternatively, the grip region can be connected to the paper tape in a form-fitting or frictional manner, for example by means of one or more nodes. Furthermore, the grip region can be designed, for example, as a tube or hose through which the paper tape is passed. In a carrying device as described here, the grip region and the paper strip are joined in particular in a planar manner. The grip region and the paper tape are connected, for example, by a flat adhesive bond. The grip region and the paper tape can be joined in their entire overlap region or overlap region or only in a part thereof. A planar, in particular full-area, joint of the grip region and the paper tape can increase the mechanical rigidity transversely to the paper tape and thus maintain the width of the grip region even under more severe and prolonged load and thus improve the wearing comfort. A full-area joint can increase the rigidity in the longitudinal direction of the paper tape and thus increase the wearing comfort by less loading of index finger and small finger. In a carrying device as described here, in particular a first end of the grip region is joined to a first end of the paper strip and a second end of the grip region is joined to a second end of the paper strip. In this case, the flexurally flexible ring is not already formed by the paper tape alone, but only by the paper tape together with the grip region. The ends of the grip region can be connected to the ends of the paper strip by adhesive bonds, welded connections, nodes or in another manner in a materially bonded, form-fitting and / or frictional manner.Alternatively, the paper strip alone already forms a flexurally flexible ring.In a carrying device as described here, the grip region is formed in particular by a region of increased width of the paper tape.If the paper strip is formed, for example, from a folded or folded paper strip, the grip region can be formed by a differently folded or folded region of the paper strip with fewer longitudinal folds. In a carrying device as described here, the grip region is formed in particular from single-ply or multi-ply paper. In a carrying device as described here, the grip region is formed in particular from paper folded in multiple layers. In a carrying device as described here, the flexurally flexible ring is formed in particular from a strap of paper.A method for preparing to wear an object with a hand includes a step of selecting a wearing device from a range of wearing devices each formed by a flexurally flexible ring including a paper tape, the flexurally flexible rings having different peripheries, selecting a wearing device whose periphery is larger than the periphery of the object to be worn, and a step of applying the wearing device to the object such that the flexurally flexible ring annularly encloses the object to be worn. Each flexurally flexible ring of a supporting device of the assortment is formed in particular by a paper tape alone or by a paper tape and a grip region. The method can be carried out in particular with an assortment of carrying devices as described here.A method as described here in particular further comprises a step of providing an assortment of carrying devices, each formed by a flexurally flexible ring comprising a paper band, wherein the flexurally flexible rings have different peripheries. In a method as described here, in particular a support device is selected with a flexurally flexible ring, the circumference of which is no more than one tenth or no more than one seventh or no more than 1 / 5 larger than the circumference of the object.Exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the appended figures. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows two schematic representations of a carrying device; FIG. 2 shows a schematic illustration of the carrying device from FIG. 1 and an object to be carried; FIG. 3 shows a further schematic illustration of the carrying device and of the object to be carried from FIG. 2 ; FIG. 4 is an enlarged schematic illustration of the grip region of the carrying device from FIGS. 1 to 3 ; FIG. 5 shows a schematic illustration of an assortment of carrying devices; FIG. 6 shows a schematic flow diagram of a method for preparing the carrying of an object.FIG. 1 shows two schematic representations of a carrying device 20 for carrying an object not shown in FIG. 1. The support device 20 is shown in two different views in FIG. 1.The support device 20 comprises a flexurally flexible paper band 30, which forms a flexurally flexible ring 30, which is schematically shown in a circular manner in FIG. 1, and a grip region 40. On the right in FIG. 1, the flexurally flexible ring formed by the paper strip 30 lies in a plane which is almost orthogonal to the plane of the drawing. On the left in FIG. 1, it can be seen that the grip region 40 is arranged on an inner side of the flexurally flexible ring formed by the paper strip 30. On the left in FIG. 1, a small distance between the paper tape 30 and the grip region 40 indicates that the paper tape 30 and the grip region 40 represent two different components. However, the grip region 40 is joined to the paper strip 30, so that actually, at least in regions, there is no spacing. On the left in FIG. 1, the grip portion 40 is shown to have a different thickness than the paper tape 30.In FIG. 1, the right hand side of the grip region 40 can be seen to have a greater width than the paper tape 30.In contrast to the illustration in FIG. 1, the grip region 40 can be formed by the paper tape 30 itself, in particular by a region of greater width or greater elasticity of the paper tape 30.FIG. 2 shows a further schematic illustration of the carrying device 20 from FIG. 1 and of an object 10 to be carried. In the example illustrated, the object 10 to be carried has the spatial shape of a cuboid. The article 10 is, for example, household goods in a carton packaging.Arrows indicate how the carrying device 20 can be placed around the object 10.FIG. 3 shows a further schematic illustration of the carrying device 20 and the object 10 to be carried from FIG. 2 ; the carrying device 20 surrounds the object 10 to be carried annularly. When viewing FIGS. 1 to 3 together, it can be seen that a ring does not mean a circular ring and a ring shape does not mean a circular ring shape, and the flexurally flexible ring formed by the paper strip 30 can be deformed almost as desired. In the configuration shown in FIG. 3, the ring formed by the paper strip approximately assumes the shape of a cross section of the rectangular-shaped object 10, that is to say a rectangular shape. When the object 10 is lifted by lifting the grip region 40 of the carrying device 20, the grip region 40 is lifted from the upper side of the object 10, as indicated in FIG. 3.FIG. 4 shows an enlarged schematic illustration of the grip region 40 and a partial region of the paper band 30 of the carrying device from FIGS. 1 to 3 The strip-shaped, i.e. elongated rectangular shape of the paper band 30 and the rectangular shape of the grip region 40 in the example illustrated can be seen. The overlap region 50 of the paper tape 30 and of the grip region 40 is indicated in FIG. 4 by hatching inclined to the right. The paper tape 30 and the grip region 40 can be joined over the entire surface, i.e. in the entire overlap region 50, in particular by means of an adhesive bond. Alternatively, the paper tape 30 and the grip region 40 can be joined only in a partial region, for example in the region indicated in FIG. 4 by a narrower hatching inclined to the left.FIG. 5 shows a schematic representation of an assortment of multiple support devices 20, which are not all provided with reference numerals. The support devices have different peripheries. Again, the support devices 20 are shown as circular rings by way of example. In fact, the support devices 20 are stored and maintained in particular in a folded configuration.Within the range, the peripheries of the flexurally flexible rings of carrying devices of next adjacent sizes formed by the paper tapes 30 differ in particular by a maximum of one tenth (10%) or by a maximum of one seventh (about 14%) or by a maximum of one fifth (20%).FIG. 6 shows a schematic flow diagram of a method for preparing the carrying of an object 10, the method being executable in particular by means of the assortment of carrying devices illustrated in FIG. 5, as illustrated with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. However, the method can also be carried out with an assortment of carrying devices with features and properties that differ from the representations based on FIGS. 1 to 5. Reference numerals from FIGS. 1 to 5 are used as examples below. In a first step 101, an assortment of carrying devices 20 are provided, each with a flexurally flexible ring with different lengths. The flexurally flexible rings are each partially, largely or completely formed from paper tape 30. The carrying devices can each have a grip region 40.In a second step 102, a support device 20 having a circumference greater than the circumference of the object 10 to be supported is selected. The circumference of the flexurally flexible ring of the carrying device 20 is in particular at most one tenth or at most one seventh or at most one fifth greater than the circumference of the object 10 to be carried. In a third step 103, the carrying device 20 is placed against the object 10 to be carried, so that the carrying device 20 surrounds the object 10 to be carried in an annular manner. The carrying device 20 is thus ready to allow the object 10 to be carried with one hand or also with two hands.List of reference numbers:10 Item to be worn 20 Carrying device 30 Paper tape of carrying device 20 40 Grip region of carrying device 20 50 Overlap region of paper tape 30 and grip region 40 101 First step (providing an assortment of carrying devices 20) 102 Second step (selecting a carrying device 20 from the assortment) 103 Third step (placing carrying device 20 on the item to be worn)
