Abstract

The invention relates to a slot insulation paper (7) for an active part (1) of an electrical machine for arrangement in a slot (3) of an active part core (2) and for electrically insulating winding conductors (5) of the active part (1) arranged in the slot (3) from the active part core (2), wherein the slot insulation paper (7) has an impregnating agent and the impregnating agent is a potting resin (8) with which the slot insulation paper (7) is impregnated, wherein the potting resin (8) can be liquefied by thermal excitation to fill cavities (9) in the slot (3) after the slot insulation paper (7) and the winding conductors (5) have been arranged in the slot (3).
